Quiet and peaceful for a relaxing holiday. Owner very kind and helpful.

The cottage was immaculate! A lovely welcome pack with local produce. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cupboard space, good size fridge with a separate freezer and freshly ground coffee. Lots of tasteful personal touches around the cottage for example little bows on the toilet paper and a little pad and pencil for note taking. We would definitely recommend the property and would love to return

We really enjoyed all the walks straight from the door and the cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

We were welcomed by Sarah the day we arrived. Cannot fault this listing it has everything you need. Big shout out for the shower which I found excellent. Will certainly return. If you come visit the Jim Clark museum in Dun It is super.

Dromore Cottage in Norham,in Northumberland, is a great place to stay clean and tidy, Sarah the lady who owns the property came to greet us a great location and Northumberland is a great place to visit right on the border with Scotland, We are looking to go back again next year but for 2 weeks, This is the 3rd year we have been to Northumberland and by far the best place we have stayed at in the way we were greeted and the Lady came to see us just before we left we will keep going back here, There is a Castle at the end of the road, 2 Pubs with great food, A village shop, Bakers, Butchers

This is such a fabulous & comfortable cottage and Sarah cannot do enough for you.

Sarah came to see us when we arrived and explained all the Heating & Cooking controls. Parking is nearby and is no problem at all. Lovely walk from the door down to the River Tweed. An excellent welcome pack with home made Marmalade, so good I brought some home with us. Sarah also checked to see if everything was ok before we left, which it was. Would definitely book again.

This is a beautiful spacious one bed cottage.

The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure the cottage is a real home from home. We loved it so much we’ve already booked for next year.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Comfortable and extremely well equipped. The lovely owner Sarah introduced herself and explained about the heating etc. Thanks for the welcome pack and homemade marmalade, delicious. Village was very friendly. We had Sunday lunch in the Masons Arms can recommend. Great walks, great place to chill out. We will stay again.

We couldn't fault the facilities and it was so comfortable and well presented. Excellent communications with helpful host Sarah! We will be returning!

Excellent property, high end kitchen equipment, didn't want for anything, and even though there was no parking at the property, you were able to park your car only 20 yards away which was no problem.

Well laid out and perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing holiday in a lovely village. The river Tweed is 200 yards away with a lovely walk, has a lovely butchers and 2 good pubs.

This is an excellent property and the best we've ever stayed in over many years and many properties.

Also, the best landlord. It was also a lovely village with friendly people. Best all round. The only issue was that there is only one bed, which cannot be made into twins. This may not suit all visitors.

A well appointed and very comfortable cottage, ideal for 2.

Beautiful village situated on the river Tweed, with good amenities, friendly folk and nice local pub; Masons Arms which is dog friendly. The owner lives in the village, who went above & beyond as hostess, providing fresh coffee, milk, bread, local biscuits & doggy treats. We were totally spoilt with this accommodation and would highly recommend.

The cottage was immaculately clean, extremely well equipped and situated in a very peaceful position. The village of Norham is idyllic, with beautiful riverside walks on the doorstep. With the added bonus of the 2 great pubs and the well stocked shops, it is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Northumberland and Scotland.

2nd visit, 3rd booked for visiting family this late autumn.

Well equipped, comfy. Thoughtful touches with welcome basket. No need for us to look elsewhere - home from home.

We've just had one of our best holidays at Dromore Cottage.

The cottage was the best accommodation we've booked with Sykes Cottages having everything you needed and more. It was perfect and we will definitely be returning. Norham itself was a lovely village, not too far from wherever you wanted to visit and has some beautiful walks from the village and surrounding area making it the perfect holiday for our dog too.

This cottage is very spacious and has all you need and more.

Very well equipped kitchen. A very nice welcome pack to get you settled in, lovely biscuits and home made marmalade was a treat..All furniture and bed very comfortable. The cottage was very clean. Nice and warm and tastefully decorated. Sarah the owner who was very nice came to see if everything was ok on arrival and the day we left . Will definitely be back.

The cottage was very cosy and warm, bed super comfy and the kitchen had everything including any gadgets you would need on holiday. There are great walks from the door step along the riverside and through the village. The pubs are both dog friendly and takeaway available if you would rather stay home.

What a gem of a find Dromore Cottage is.

There is nothing that can be faulted with this accommodation very cosy & comfortable, we wished we havd booked for longer. The host Sarah was first class and checked on arrival if everything was okay for us. The welcome pack was most appreciated.

Very comfy bed, soft fluffy towels, very well equipped kitchen with lots of storage space, fresh flowers & a lovely welcome basket with delicious homemade marmalade & doggy treats. Sarah, the owner, popped in to see us to check everything was OK. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Well situated to travel around the area. It was like a home from home and would highly recommend.

On arrival Dromore Cottage was immediately seen to be very clean and tidy and equipped to a high standard and our host Sarah had left a comprehensive welcome pack, which got our holiday off to a good start.

The cottage is in a great location in the village and very comfortable. The local information provided was clear and comprehensive and it was clear from the visitors book that previous visitors have had a similar positive experience. I found nothing I could find fault with during the week and we are already looking at a return visit in 2026

what a wonderful gem of a cottage it was everything that we hoped for and more.

very nice to meet Sarah such a lovely lady and we received a nice welcome gift with her homemade marmalade that was delicious , it was very clean and comfortable and much bigger than it looks. the surrounding area is fabulous lots of beautiful walks and friendly locals, the small village shop is very well stocked and a very nice butchers shop too, there is also a bakery shop all just a few minuets walk and 2 dog friendly pubs serving nice food . we highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing peaceful break

We absolutely loved this cottage.

It had everything you could want, from comfy beds and sofas, good selection of tv channels, well equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome pack. We spoke to the owner a couple of times. Very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend Dromore Cottage
