What guests are saying
We were 2 x fit elderly couples staying for a week, the accommodation was quiet, spacious, clean, well equipped and we had a very comfortable vacation.
There was a nice welcome pack of biscuits, tea, milk and bread… thank you!! we appreciated it! although we used the induction cooker rings and microwave the range was a bit too far a challenge? We knew before a car was required to get about but overall we were impressed with the whole package and would stay again!
Simon quick to answer any questions House was very nice, clean and comfortable accomodation but kitchen lacks some basic equipment ie baking trays, roasting tins as not suitable if accomodation is in full occupancy
Absolutely loved the house for our group of 3 adults and 3 teenagers.
There is so much room to spread out but cosy enough to have evening meals together and play games. Not a fan of the Aga we found it quite hot in the kitchen in one of the hottest weeks of the year. The kitchen was super but short of roasting tins and baking trays. The bedrooms were really lovely and the beds were all very comfy but some of the pillows were quite hard and lumpy and others flat. The master bedroom was lovely but the duvet cover was far too big for the duvet which made it a bit uncomfortable. The bathrooms were spotless with great showers. The back garden was quite pleasant but pretty overgrown in parts so a couple of the seating areas were out of bounds. On the whole we had a great week in a lovely house in a super location for exploring the north of Northumberland. We'd love to return.
