Everything necessary for a pleasant stay provided. Welcome pack of milk, biscuits, tea, coffee - much appreciated! Quiet position set back from High Street. Very convenient location for exploring Northumberland. Co-op store just across the road. Would sincerely recommend.

Lovely quiet cottage in the heart of Wooler.

You can hear the church bells through the night but it's not intrusive. Plenty of food venue's right on the doorstep and the Co op opposite. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ideal location for visiting the surrounding area and coast.

Very happy staying here with no real complaints.

Cooking pans seemed in short supply as were cooking knives but other than that, most enjoyable, and have already booked for next year and considering going back this year for a birthday treat

A lovely cottage hidden away in the heart of the village.

Beautifully maintained, clean, warm, cosy and quiet. Comfortable beds ensured great nights sleep. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed. It was perfect for us and we certainly would stay here again.

Lovely place in the market square in the center of wooler and well placed to visit the local castles etc.

The accommodation is lovely, downstairs is a little dark as the only day light is from the passage to the side. Upstairs the floor in the main bedroom creaked when moving around the room.

Muffins provided a cosy and comfortable holiday retreat for us.

Cottage was lovely and well situated close to local facilities. Really enjoyed an excellent meal at the Milan Italian restaurant close by in the town. Wooler provides a great base for exploring the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and historical attractions including Bamburgh Castle, Cragside House and Hadrian's Wall.

Compact and tastefully furnished accommodation centrally located with the convenience of a Coop supermarket across the road.

Whilst shared parking is available outside the property, easy and free parking, is available across the road next to the church. Wooler is a nice peaceful town conveniently situated to visit the nearby coastal attractions eg. Holy Island, Berwick, Bamburgh,Alnwick , Seahouses and others.

Beautifully kept place in a very central location for Northumberland and the cheviots and very handy for Wooler's shops (Co-Op straight opposite).

We wondered whether it might be a bit noisy situated on the market place but needn't have worried the alley way takes noise out and Wooler is a wonderfully quiet, friendly place. By way of suggestion rather than criticism I would say. A coffee pot would come in handy While I don't have a 2 pin socket for shavers/toothbrushes in my own place most holiday cottages seem to and I rather assumed it. I would have brought a converter plug if I'd known. The Duvet would have been more than adequate for the south west face of Everest. Northumberland isn't that cold in May and some alternative/ backup bedding would have been useful.
