Willow Cottage is a elegant stone built terraced property located in a quiet square in the pretty village of Lesbury just a mile away from Alnmouth. The Cottages homely feel allows the perfect retreat for both couples and small families alike any time of the year. Lesbury benefits from a community owned and run shop, selling bread, groceries, dairy, fresh vegetables, cakes and coffees and the newly refurbished Coach Inn (opens Weds-Sun, currently drinks only). Nearby Alnmouth has a village Post Office/shop, cafes and restaurants. Willow Cottage is ideally located for exploring all the attractions Northumberland and the Heritage Coastline has to offer. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Entrance Lounge with comfy seating, TV and log burner. Kitchen/dining room with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer and microwave. Dining area with large table and chairs and access to the rear patio. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with double bed and vaulted ceilings. Bedroom 2 with twin beds.. Family bathroom with bath and shower overhead, basin, heated towel rail and WC. OTHER FACILITIES Private parking for 1 medium size car. Enclosed patio with furniture to the rear of the property. Exclusive access to lockable outhouse to rear of cottage - suitable for storage of bikes, paddleboards etc. Gas central heating. All power, linen and towels included in the rent. Starter pack for the log burning stove supplied between October and April. As of Jan 2023 - now accepting 1 dog, downstairs only please.

Lesbury is a quaint village resting between Alnwick and Alnmouth, beside the stunning coast of Northumberland. The village is known for its historic bridge and scenic walks along the River Aln, and offers a selection of attractions including a local community shop 150m
which has a volunteer run community shop stocking bread, cakes, dairy, fresh meat and vegetables, ice-cream, wine and beer. The lovely Coach Inn has recently been refurbished and is now open for drinks Wednesday to Sunday (no food yet). The Alnwick Brewery Co & Taproom is close by and there is easy access to the superb seaside town of Alnmouth, where there is a golf course, a greater selection of eateries and a beautiful sandy beach. Just outside of the village is the popular market town of Alnwick, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as The Alnwick Garden, countryside walks through Sumerseats Viewpoint, a great selection of eateries including Barter Books, and of course the magnificent Alnwick Castle. There is also the option to visit the historic seaside town of Warkworth where there are more beaches, coastal walks and another fascinating castle.
