We couldn't fault it in any way and its position in the village gave us easy access to all the amenities and a view of the estuary from the living room. Excellent value.

“Another lovely holiday at Assisi Apartment.”

We arrived in the dark and cold and when we opened the door there was such a warming welcome with the heating and some of the lights on. Very cosy. Spacious and has everything we needed. Very clean. Car parking definitely a plus. Friendly neighbours too. We cannot fault anything and appreciate the effort the owners go to to make us feel comfortable.

“Beautiful weeks stay in this apartment.”

We stay in this area at least three times a year. Very spacious, well equipped. A very warm apartment with heating off. Good ventilation with windows open, and limited noise so not disturb at night.

Great for exploring Northumberland. On a local scale it’s perfect setting makes it ideal for a walk down the high street, excellent choice of pubs with great food. The proximity to the clean, sparsely populated sandy beach is a winner with or without children ?

ALNMOUTH

Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
