    “A lovely little cottage, perfect for humans and dogs.”

    It’s ideally situated on a working farm not far from Alnmouth, Alnwick, and lots of other little villages and towns. Garden Cottage is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. The cottage is also close to walking paths which lead to the beautiful, golden beaches at Alnmouth and towards Amble. The little garden attached to the cottage is enclosed by stone walls or by fencing. However, we recommend you supervise your dog even in this area, and keep them on a lead at ...

Garden Cottage is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. The cottage is also close to walking paths which lead to the beautiful, golden beaches at Alnmouth and towards Amble. The little garden attached to the cottage is enclosed by stone walls or by fencing. However, we recommend you supervise your dog even in this area, and keep them on a lead at all times. When we attempted a tiny bit of freedom within the garden, one of our rascals jumped onto the low wall, whilst the other two tried to burrow under a gap at the bottom of the gate!

The property

This one-story accommodation, Garden Cottage, is located on the outskirts of Alnwick on a working farm, close to the stunning Northumberland coastline.

This cottage can accommodate up to four people and serves as a perfect home base for family and friends visiting this part of Northumberland.

Look forward to relaxing in the lounge, getting comfortable next to the woodburning stove and deciding on a movie or TV series to binge.

Move over to the kitchen, where the allocated chef may wow the company with a hearty dish and a bottle of bubbly.

As the evening comes to an end, retire to one of the bedrooms, which includes a king-size and a twin and has wardrobe space for your personal belongings.

The cottage features a garden with a seating area where you can relax outside and take in the tranquil scene.

The Farm is a Wildlife Conservation area for Lapwing, Skylard and Grey Partridge as well as encouraging wild flowers.

The Wooden Farm Cottages consists of a delightful selection of three cottages resting on the outskirts of Alnmouth, Northumberland. This collection offers tasteful decoration and single-storey living making it ideal for families looking to getaway to this part of the UK. Your local amenities can be found in Alnmouth, where you can stock up on essentials at the convenience store, spend a day at the beach, embark on a hike along the coastal path, dine at Scotts of Alnmouth and Northumberland Street Food, or test out your swing at the excellent golf club. Next stop is Alnwick, where you can take a stroll through the town centre and stop off for a delicious bite to eat in one of the many local cafés. There's plenty of shops to browse, ideal for picking up a gift to take home, whilst attractions including the iconic Alnwick Castle, used as a backdrop in some of Harry Potter’s most iconic scenes, and the Bailiffgate and Fusiliers Museum of Northumberland. When you fancy venturing out of town, the Northumberland Coast Area of Natural Beauty (AONB) and the Northumberland National Park provide a myriad of walking routes throughout beautiful landscapes, whilst those fancying a change of scenery can take the 45-minute car journey to Newcastle. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea.
