    “The flat is just as described.”

    It is very spacious, clean, well-appointed and quiet. We found it a relaxing place to stay! Also, this is a great base for a car-free holiday. The mainline station is 25 minutes away on foot. You are minutes from the coast path and beach. There are regular (hourly) buses to Alnwick and along the coast. The village shop has everything you need to self-cater and there are pubs and restaurants in Alnmouth too.

Sunnybrae is a delightful first-floor apartment in the very heart of Alnmouth benefiting from one private off road parking space.

A sweeping staircase (shared with one other apartment) overlooked by an impressive stone leaded window leads you to the entrance to Apartment 2.

With its period features, high ceilings and a light and airy lounge with views of the estuary, Sunnybrae offers guests comfortable and homely accommodation on a quiet pleasant road which is just a short walk from the beach and local amenities.

With both bedrooms benefiting from modern en suite facilities (one with a separate bath), this makes Sunnybrae ideally suited to couples and families alike. ACCOMMODATION ON ONE LEVEL (First floor) Ground floor entrance, staircase to first floor. Entrance hallway and storage area with tumble dryer. Lounge / dining room with large bay window with window seat and views to the estuary, ample comfy seating, period fire place with gas fire, TV with Freeview, DVD player.

Dining table and chairs. Kitchen with electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Bedroom 1 with king-size bed and en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with two single beds and en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin. OTHER FACILITIES Private parking for 1 car.

ALNMOUTH

Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
