“A lovely apartment in a good location.”

We stayed over xmas and new year and the owners put up lots of lovely decorations for us. Staying so long we cooked and were about the apartment a lot and we found it very comfortable and well equipped. We have stayed in Alnmouth many times and this was one of the best we stayed in, my own favourite.

It is well furnished and equipped, warm for our arrival on a cold November day. So close to the beach and amenities and the bonus of a rare parking space. Communication with the owner was excellent particularly when I left my I pad and had to arrange to collect it after leaving the property. Thank you.

We were very lucky with the weather, very warm for this time of year and no rain. Lovely walks and a great New Years Eve meal in the Sun Inn. We will be returning in the future. Thank you for the sweets and marmalade, much appreciated.

Highlight of the holiday have been the tree house restaurant in Alnwick, Cragside and a trip to the Farne Islands. Love being in Alnmouth and would love to come back to this fab apartment.

Sunnybrae is a delightful first-floor apartment in the very heart of Alnmouth benefiting from one private off road parking space. A sweeping staircase (shared with one other apartment) overlooked by an impressive stone leaded window leads you to the entrance to Apartment 2. With its period features, high ceilings and a light and airy lounge with views of the estuary, Sunnybrae offers guests comfortable and homely accommodation on a quiet pleasant road which is just a short walk from the beach and local amenities. With both bedrooms benefiting from modern en suite facilities (one with a separate bath), this makes Sunnybrae ideally suited to couples and families alike. ACCOMMODATION ON ONE LEVEL (First floor) Ground floor entrance, staircase to first floor. Entrance hallway and storage area with tumble dryer. Lounge / dining room with large bay window with window seat and views to the estuary, ample comfy seating, period fire place with gas fire, TV with Freeview, DVD player. Dining table and chairs. Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
