    “Weather grim - not your fault but spent whole weekend trying to get fire working.”

    Your office knew and should have left note in cottage to that effect. Not a scrap of soap, liquid or otherwise, in building. Also not everyone uses 2 controls to get tv on so written instructions would have helped.

The Beach House is a stunning property bathed in light, with bay windows providing access to the sea. A multitude of seating areas offering a cosy place to unwind, while the conservatory area adjacent to the living room provides an idyllic space to soak up the views. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
