A super and well equipped house to stay in.

Amble is beautiful and in walking distance to harbour.

Cora’s is a really comfortable well equipped cottage.

It is clean and well prepared and presented. It’s location is perfect for Amble Main Street and generally well located for other areas of Northumberland.

Fabulous cottage lovely & clean with everything you could need, excellent location & got parked outside the property no problem, only small negative it was a shared back yard so unable to let our dog out so we didn't use the back door at all, we found there was ample places close by to take your dog

Nice place , had everything we needed for our stay .

It’s in a good area for visiting all nearby attractions. Very quiet , no issues whatsoever. Parking did present some problems at times , but overall a nice place to stay .

This is our third visit to “Cora’s” house and once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

It is a good accommodation in an area close to all the amenities in Amble and a good place to get around to the surrounding locations. The only issue can be the parking. This is the first time we have found it a bit difficult getting parking close to the house. There is a bathroom company (Tulip Design)at the end of the road that has several vehicles and parks them without thought in front of peoples houses which I found a bit of an annoyance as on one occasion parked a vehicle so close to our car that it was very hard to manoeuvre out of and took several attempts. It looks like the company is expanding into kitchens too so I can envisage it getting worse!

We are a retired couple and the accommodation and area was perfect.

Amble is such nice place, and you are situated close to pubs, restaurants and the harbour. If like us you use public transport, Viva run buses to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Morpeth, and Warkworth. Further a field you can get to Seahouses and Berwick Upon Tweed. Highly recommended

Great place to stay.

Cora’s house is a lovely terrace property great location in Amble close to town. Lovely house plenty big enough for the two of us and our dogs. Sofa’s are very comfortable and so is the bed the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and some lovely little gifts left by the owners. The shower is great, lovely towels and bedding and spotlessly clean thank you to Amy for the message that the property would be ready early very thoughtful. Parking was never a problem and neither was the shared yard can’t wait to return.

A cosy cottage on a quiet street, but just a short walk from the town centre and harbour.

It's been modernised and upgraded, is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Amy the host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Definitely one to book again. Amble is an ideal base for exploring the rest of Northumberland, and the town itself has a good few shops and eateries. Great fish and seafood straight from the boat at the Alliance, a Sunday market, busy harbour, and a pier to stroll on.

We had a brilliant week at Cora’s House, in a perfect location and a brilliant base for exploring.

The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed and more. The living room was a big for us all, comfy sofas, TV and wifi good enough for the children while we relaxed in the evening. The kitchen is specious, perfectly laid out with lots of storage space. Bedrooms are a great size with plenty of storage. Modern bathroom with a Bluetooth speaker in the mirror if you like some music while you wash! The tea/ coffee biscuits and milk in the fridge when we arrived was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Great communication from Amy before we arrived, thank you! Slight niggle but didn’t affect the holiday at all, the mattresses on the beds are very soft so I did struggle a little as I have back problems. Thank you for a great stay!

With great facilities! The board games and biscuits were a hit with my kids!

This is an amazing property, reasonably priced, high spec, spotless, comfy beds, great location, good communication and such small touches as dog treats, milk in the fridge, small amount of tea and coffee and toiletries - THANK YOU we will visit again

Had a lovely stay at Cora’s house so much so that we have booked again for next year.

The only drawback is the street parking as it’s a bit of a lottery if you can get a space near to the property due to its close proximity to the high street.

Coras is very well appointed, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Situated in a quiet street, but very close to the bustling centre of Amble, and also good access to green space to exercise my dog Dottie. Good base for exploring the Nothumberland coast. There was a book for suggestions, so i suggested maybe a footstool. Hope to come back some time.

Lovely little cottage, very clean and well equipped too, beds comfortable, kitchen spot on and also we found the niegbours were really nice.

Parking outside was no problem and local shops/ restaurants literally 2 minutes away and a short stroll to the harbour side. Some lovely beaches in the area too

Felt like home from home the minute we got there.

Appreciated all the little extras i.e. milk in the fridge, tea/coffee tray. Parking was not an issue at all. Co-op supermarket was 2 minutes away. Ideal location to visit the Northumberland coast. Buses to Alnwick frequent if you don't wish to drive. Amble is a lovely base. Warkworth Castle a must and only a mile and half away. Amy as a contact was reassuring. Outside space limited, but we didn't really need it for our holiday. Would highly recommend.

Very well equipped, cosy cottage, convenient to all amenities in Amble and a great base to explore the Northumberland coast.

Plentiful, good quality kitchen equipment, spacious kitchen, lovely bedding and towels and amazingly quiet for a small terraced house. Tiny shared yard, unsuitable for dogs, but only a two minute walk to grassy area and 5 minutes from The Braid and Harbour. Would definitely recommend and return.

What a gem, I absolutely loved my stay in this wonderful, comfortable, and stylish cottage.

I can highly recommend Cora's. Everything is on your doorstep, and the beaches nearby are wild and beautiful. I felt safe and comfortable which is important as a single traveller. I would like to give a special mention to Amy who looks after the cottage and does an outstanding job.

Spotlessly clean and very well finished. Lovely touches for both me and my dog with welcome treats ! Amy was super helpful. Very quiet considering the built up area and easy parking. Holy Island and Bamburgh beach were spectacular and the walk along the river to Warkworth was delightful. I would definitely return. Thankyou

Cora's was in an excellent location in Amble and for visiting the surrounding area.

It was extremely clean, warm, comfortable, well maintained and equipped with absolutely everything needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom beautifully fitted and presented. We highly recommend and will definitely visit there again

Just got back from our 2nd break this year in Coras House, we had another great time, house was very clean, lovely treats for us and our dog, real home from home, great base for touring the area, will definitely be back again

We had a wonderful stay in this excellent property.

It was spotlessly clean and had excellent facilities. It is a cosy, well maintained, tastefully decorated property. The area is great too.

The weekend was amazing clean ,comfortable very friendly little place harbour is relaxing very fish n chips and Chinese best I've had for ages thankyou for letting us stay at coras will come back recommended

Coras has everything you need for a comfortable break. It was positioned perfectly for visiting the shops and restaurants of Amble. There was never any problem parking, though it wasn't always right at the door. It was especially good not to have to buy washing up liquid, bin bags etc. Very generous to provide all these things. Good to have milk waiting in the fridge, and a little selection of biscuits.

Cora's was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Amy was excellent and communicated with us several times before and after our stay. We would not hesitate staying there again.

Perfect size for me and my dog. Great location as within easy reach of the harbour and fabulous beach walks. Local facilities close to hand and a small area to take the dog for that quick wee

What a lovely property, very clean and very comfortable, and the lovely Amy who helped us out with a couple of small problems.

it was such a shame as my wife became ill, so we left earlier than we would've liked. We will hopefully be back soon.

Perfect for a long weekend by the sea and so close to wonderful Druridge Bay.

Our granddaughter loved the bunk beds and we very much appreciated the nice touches and quality of the accommodation.

It was a beautiful property, the bathroom and kitchen were done to a very high standard.

It was lovely to stay local to family over the festive period. There is a bit of damp in the property but it looks like it's been treated just needs covering. However that doesn't effect the use of the house! The high ceilings make the house feel bigger and as a family of 5, I thought it was going to be a squeeze in a 2 bed house. However it was perfect for all of us! It's in a perfect location especially for family dog walks down to the beach which was enjoyed by all, especially the dog. There was everything you needed to cook, clean and live comfortably. The only thing we needed to buy was food. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. We noticed that a lot of essentials were sustainable alternatives instead of one use options. There were also things sourced responsibly like the dishwasher tablets. The option to recycle was great as it isnt always. We will definitely be back!

The lovely house has all that you need for a cosy and comfortable stay with friendly and helpful contact from Amy.

And the location is perfect. It’s quiet but just 2 min walk to the small shops and a cut through to a large green space to walk the dog towards the harbour. The lovely Warkworth village and beach is just a mile or two away which is the start of so many glorious beaches and villages to explore

The only complaint we had was having to strip the bed linen due to Covid which seemed an excuse to do less to us.

This was our 2nd visit to CORAS House & just as enjoyable the 2nd time around.

The locality is perfect for exploring so much of the beautiful county of Northumberland. Great places to eat close by along with other handy facilities. The locals are lovely, so welcoming. We only use public transport to arrive & explore & we manage to get to anywhere we want with the regular bus services in addition to the lovely walks on the doorstep. Highly recommended accommodation & location!!

Coras House is comfortable and well equiped and very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The outside space is limited a small yard shared with three houses. We had washing hung across the back door from one of the other properties. Amble is lovely and the beaches in the area are stunning..

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Found the stripping of 3 beds a bit of a rush with 3 of us trying to get showered, have breakfast and be out of the cottage by 10:00. At £300 for a 2 night stay, bed stripping is really the job of the property owners/housekeeping.

Everything was great.

All furnishings and fittings were first first class especially in the kitchen where absolutely everything was provided. The shower room was also very well appointed. The cleanliness was faultless thanks to Amy. Excellent location, especially for walking our dog and sightseeing. Amble is a delightful place and perfect for exploring the Northumberland coastline and all it has to offer. There was one small downside to this glowing review and that was the television. Excellent equipment, but a total inability to watch anything in the conventional manner. It absolutely defeated me as has.been reported in other reviews. I have since been informed by Amy that a new aerial is to be installed next week. Robert Martin.

We had a great time at Amble and really enjoyed staying at Coras cottage, the accommodation was lovely and beautifully presented, we made friends with some of the neighbours too!

The small child like chairs were a frustration as was the so called TV which we never understood!

The 'shared' garden/patio area was too near the other users so unusable really. We seem to receive many duplicate emails from you. Could these be reduced? Your communivation was very good but too much paper. The cottage was well presented and we had a very good holiday so thank you one and all. Geoff and Karen Bishop

Everything was very good, though the TV was a bit frustrating.

Amble is a lovely village with lots of good restaurants. Easy access from Cora's. Loved visiting the penguins at Farne (from Seahouses) and lots of good nature walks from Amble and the surroundings. Though the boat from Amble was cancelled due to weather. Would like better assistance regarding recycling. For example, what to do with bottles?

Nice cottage, near town.

Co op not far away. To the harbor 10 Min by foot. My dog felt happy, at the end of the street is a big lawn where he could run without a lead. You shareing the backyard of the cottage with 2 other familys, but nobody used it. The batroom and shower was a dream but the mattress has to replaced. It is not more comfortable. Otherwise i could recommend Cora's cottage.

The cottage is beautifully fitted out and very clean ,just a few changes would improve things ,my wife struggled to sleep because the curtains did,nt keep the light out,the idea to not have live TV is tiresome the whole point of a cottage is home comforts.

The lack of outside space was also a shame,parking was a lottery first come first served.

We cannot express our satisfaction enough.

The cottage was perfect for us. The location allowed us to visit all the places on our list, all on the local buses. The Wellwood Inn, just around the corner provided good food served by great staff. The harbour is delightful. Check out the Geordie Banger but. We are already planning our return visit to this beautifully presented clean cottage. Thank you so much!

This is a lovely warm, comfortable cottage, in an excellent location to visit all that Amble has to offer.

It has a lovely kitchen and bathroom. It was extremely clean and well equipped. Would highly recommend, especially as it is dog friendly, with treats and bowls provided. There is no real outdoor space but there is a field just at the end of the street. We found it easy to park our car in the street outside.

Cora's house is a lovely comfortable home from home.

It is very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. It is in an enviable position, close to the main street and with an area to exercise our dog. Amble is a good base for exploring Northumberland. Thanks for a good week, and for the little extras especially the dog treats. Mac loved them.

We loved Cora's House!

It's a lovely, cosy cottage on a quiet street in the centre of Amble close to shops, restaurants and, best of all, the sea! It's just a short walk to the harbour, the marina and the little town beach. The house is beautifully presented, very clean and very well equipped. Thank you for a super holiday. We hope to be back soon.

Maybe a little more clarity on recycling would have been helpful. We would certainly recommend it to friends and hopefully return ourselves.
