    “Very disappointing.”

    Very overpriced.The property is manged by the external company. Coincidental furnitures, gathering of weird items/ objects. It is advertised as house but in fact it is a flat, moreover apparently dog friendly but no garden/ court yard. The flat is tired; needs TLC and urgent investment. Building itself if of putting. Unpleasant smell downstairs/ shower head keeps dropping while showering, one toilet roll left for 7 days, no laundry liquid but dishwater tablets appreciated. No telly in the ...

    The price is based on the facilities and current market rate, so it is not over priced. The furniture is a collection based on the size of the rooms and is a mix of items obtained locally to give the property a homely feel. It is NOT advertised as a house, but “First Floor Apartment” Its is advertised as “one well behaved dog welcome” and does not state its has a courtyard or garden. The property has had over £25,000 investment within the last 3 months including a replacement hot water tank and repainting in the bathroom, hall, and landing. I will request that more toilet roll are provided, however the property description does not state laundry liquid is provided. The showerhead was replaced prior to this visit hance was brand new. The advert does NOT state that there is a TV in the bedroom. In summary the negative comments are factually incorrect apart from the one toilet roll and more could have been requested via the supplied contact number. Property Owner

The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.
