Brucap Cottage

Lovely property in a great location, five minutes walk to the beach, lots of golf courses near by and a nice local pub for food.

Would definitely recommend, and return. Thanks Rachael and paul.

A fabulous property in a great location.

We could not have asked for more. Spotlessly clean with owners that have clearly tried to go the extra mile to ensure their guests have everything they need. We will definitely be visiting this beautiful area of the British Isles again and hopefully be booking into this great property.

We could not have asked for a better location.

The cottage had everything we needed. We will definitely book the cottage again in the future.

Fabulous position in Beadnell, great for walks & everywhere is dog friendly.

The accommodation had everything we needed, even toiletries were supplied, which were of good quality. We would definitely recommend

Brucap,is a lovely clean and comfortable property with the bonus of being a short stroll to the beach, with a lovely view of the sea from the front bedroom.

The Craster Arms serves lovely food and the fish and chip van is one not to miss,Rachael was very helpful when i contacted her, having stayed in the area twice before this was the best property i have stayed in and my daughter and i had a lovely time so did the dog,so i would not hesitate staying here again or recommending to others

What a fabulous holiday home!

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The parking space directly outside the house was generous and easy to manoeuvre into, even with a large car. The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of space for dining, both indoors and outdoors. The back garden is a real sun trap, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The location is excellent, with some fantastic pubs just a short walk away, including the Craster Arms and The Landing, as well as a wonderful pizza restaurant right by the beach. In just five minutes, you can be on the beach itself or enjoying a walk along the beautiful coastal path. The beds were comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Brucap Cottage is clean, comfortable and well maintained.

It is an ideal place to stay for visiting the beach and within walking distance of bars and cafes. We were lucky with the weather so made good use of the garden furniture

The cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean.

It is clearly well maintained, with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated as I had forgotten a couple of essential items.

Brucap cottage is great.

Very comfortable with everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and responsive to queries. We loved being able to walk to the beach and the weather was warm enough on a couple of the days to sit out in the garden. We will book again in the future.

A lovely house in a lovely location.

We would definitely book Brucap cottage again.

A perfect cottage.

This cottage had everything we needed, a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a cosy living room with a modern TV and smartspeaker. The outside space was nice but we didn't use on this occasion. We were very close to the beautiful Beadnell beach and within an easy stroll to bars, restaurants and a local shop.

Brucap is an ideal place to stay, great location and super accommodation.

Very clean, lovely welcome package and really spacious house. Plenty of room for all guests to be comfortable. Highly recommend and will be booking again.

What a fantastic place to stay, spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need.

Particularly enjoyed the quality bubble bath and oils provided. Beadnell in itself is such a great place to stay with our two dogs who love the beach. Brucap just made a great holiday into a perfect one. Thank you.

A lovely, clean, well stocked and cared for property, in walking distance of the sea and pub.

A warm welcome from Rachel and Paul. Prosecco and milk in the fridge was a nice touch and very thoughtful. Games in the cupboard. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Brucap cottage was lovely.

We will definitely go back again. Ian and Caroline

Very comfortable & clean accomodation which was well placed for the beach & all amenities.

Very well stocked kitchen for self catering & basic cleaning essentials. Even the WD40 under sink came in useful when the clip.on the dogs lead was jammed! Only thing that could improve it was the weather which also meant we didn't get to use the lovely back garden. Owners very responsive if you need any advise. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a fantastic experience booking with the hosts Rachael and Paul.

They were extremely helpful. It was ideally situated for a relaxing beach holiday - our third year visiting the area and we will be back next year. The property was very clean, with a well stocked kitchen and only a short walk to the fantastic Beadnell beach. We would recommend this property without hesitation.

This is a really nice house, had everything we needed for our stay, will definitely be back , thanks for everything

Had a lovely holiday in this well provisioned cottage.

It has everything you need and is in a great location a short walk from the stunning Beadnell beach. It is a great area to bring our little dog on holiday with dog friendly cafes and great beaches for walks. The owners even provided dog toys and bowls which were much appreciated.

We had an excellent stay at Brucap cottage.

The location is ideal for a short walk to the beach. Visits to Bamburgh and Alnwick are only a short drive away and the scenery is stunning. Lots to see and explore as well as dog walks on the beach at Beadnell which is so unspoilt. All in all we were all delighted with our holiday.

Brucap suited our needs very well.

We self-catered and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable was provided. We didn’t have youngsters with us, but I noted that every provision was made for those staying with a young family. Certainly everything was thought of to make it stress-free stay. Thank you.

This is a really lovely home from home and incredibly well equipped.

The first one we’ve stayed at where it is truly safe for our German Shepherd. It’s also really handy for the pubs and the beach. Can’t fault it at all really.

This property is a perfect 10.

The location is great, 5 min walk to the beach and great base to explore the area or just to chill. The property itself could not be better, very clean and well equipped, it has everything you need and more. A lovely welcome pack on arrival was an extra bonus. The owner has paid so much attention to detail to cater for guests, a real home from home. I'd only been home for an hour before I booked up for our next stay, can't wait to return. Couldn't fault a single thing. The perfect host.

Fantastic cottage.

Great location! The owners of Brucap Cottage were very friendly and easy to contact and made us feel at home right away with their lovely message of welcome and the generous gift of shortbread, fudge and Prosecco, to the supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The cottage was spotlessly clean and with attention to detail that made it such a lovely and easy place to stay. The kitchen was really well equipped and had everything you needed; the lounge is spacious and comfortable with doors leading out into the lovely secure garden at the back (great if you have an escape artist for a dog!) Even the lovely planters at the front and back of the cottage made it feel like a home-from-home. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of storage, together with a good sized family bathroom and en-suite walk-in shower in the master bedroom. The cottage is perfectly situated for easy access to the beautiful sandy bay at Beadnell (a 5 minute walk) and close to The Landings pub and restaurant and only a 15 minute walk along the footpath at the side of the caravan park, to the centre of Beadnell with a cafe/restaurant, pub and Beadnell Towers Hotel - where we had a great Sunday lunch. We love this area with so many things to see and stunning coastal walks and have stayed around here many times before and now we have found Brucap Cottage we can’t wait to come and stay here again!

Amazing.

We have stayed in many self catering cottages. It was extremely clean and was the best equipped that we have had. The kitchen had everything and more. Perfect location. Owners very attentive. We will be returning.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay there, so much so we have booked same week next year, in particular the owners attention to detail was sooo impressive.

Tea bags, coffee, salt, pepper, paper towels and the welcome pack of fudge, milk and a bottle of Prosecco started the visit off perfectly. See you in 2026 and a HUGE thanks from us. Paul and Beth.

A lovely home with care and attention taken to the small details, these really made the difference Location was excellent

Brilliant cottage the owner was very helpful would definitely stay again

A lovely, very clean and well equipped cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

A convenient few minutes walk to the beach. Can definitely recommend this cottage and hope that we get chance to stay there again.

What a gorgeous, comfortable and well equipped cottage.

Brucap Cottage benefits from a very convenient location close to the harbour, beach and seafront in the lovely seaside village of Beadnell. The owners of the cottage are very attentive and left us a lovely welcome gift on our arrival. The cottage is very well loved and cared for with everything you could need for making the most of it's wonderful location in Northumberland. A great location for coastal walks and the information provided by the owners was very useful for us to make the most of the local pubs and restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely return.

The holiday home was so perfect, so clean and on arrival bottle of wine & shortbread.

The location is literally 5mins to the beach & beach bar. 5 stars all the way on this property & location. Great value

An absolutely lovely cottage.

Fabulously clean. Everything we could have wanted for a wonderful stay. The cottage was very well equipped and our grandchildren loved the fact that they could see the sea from their bedrooms. The beach was 5 minutes walk away and was lovely. Would recommend anyone to stay at Brucap and hopefully we may be back there ourselves.

Wonderful stay.

Extremely clean and facilities were wonderful. Will most definitely return :)

Lovely property in wonderful location.

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Improvements/additions made by the owners since our last stay were very much appreciated and made our stay even more enjoyable.

A very well maintained holiday home with everything you’ll need for an enjoyable stay in Beadnell.

We’ll be booking again soon.

A well furnished and very well equipped cottage in a very good location close to the beach

Perfect property to spend our holiday in.

House is beautiful and has everything you need or desire. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at Brucap Cottage and hope to return sometime.

Brucap Cottage is a lovely place to stay for a holiday.

It is very near the beach just a few minutes walk and is central for visiting other parts of Northumberland. The owners go the extra mile providing essentials like tea and coffee and more. The welcome pack of wine and biscuits (and doggy treats) was very welcome.

Great property, welcome treats provided.

Very well equipped, good quality bedding and towels. Clean and additional bleach etc provided which is very welcome. Great location on quiet estate within 5 mins of beach and Landings which do Great breakfast and open all day. Short drive from Seahouses and walking distance of centre of the village. Minor niggle 2 interior doors did not close properly. Lounge and front bedroom but easily remedied I would say. Would recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the accommodation had everything we needed.

Only small gripe would be the WiFi wasn’t very reliable and caused the tv streaming to stop regularly at times.

Excellent.

This was out first time at Brucap and would definitely stay again.

The cottage was lovely and clean, well equipped and the owners had thought of every detail to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We loved the milk, teas, wine and biscuits on arrival which were really appreciated. We also appreciated that simple things such as toilet rolls and cleaning equipment were available, something that many cottages now seem to fail to leave. The dog also loved the treats and huge box of dog balls and toys !! The cottage is well positioned, only 5 minute walk from wonderful Beadnell beach, but also close to all the other lovely beaches and walks along the coast.

The cottage was in an ideal location for the beach and local facilities.

It is in a residential street which was quiet but not isolated. The cottage itself is extremely clean and well-maintained. It contained everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the utensils were clean. Lounge was cosy and comfortable opening out onto an enclosed garden for our dog. There was a welcome pack of milk, wine, biscuits and treats for the dog which was most appreciated. Can highly recommend staying here and we’re hoping to return in the future.

We are frequent visitors to the area.

This property is located close to the beach for walks with stunning views. It’s immaculately clean, well equipped and very comfortable and warm. We will be returning again soon.

Amazing home beautifully clean and furnished and so well equipped Great location in a beautiful place

A very pleasant and a very clean cottage, one of the best we have visited in the UK!

. Convenient to many popular locations. Many items were provided, especially in the kitchen, which we did not expect, as we had taken many items with us. A very relaxing cottage, only 8 minutes walk to the beach, and only 2 miles from Seahouses.

We enjoyed a lovely short break at Brucap cottage.

The property was of an excellent standard throughout and we would love to return in the future. The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped and I would recommend it to others.

Brucap Cottage is a lovely property, very well placed for the beach and restaurants.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. All necessities, eg tea, coffee, sugar etc were provided which was unexpected. There were even some doggie treats and a bottle of wine, which were lovely touches. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.
