We had a wonderful week in Beadnell in this lovely property.

Our second visit & the weather was great which made such a difference ie. having dry dogs

Definitely recommend this property.

In a quiet area in Beadnell and central to everything there. Friendly neighbours, the garden is definitely dog proof as we have a miniature Yorkie who couldn’t get out. Spotlessly clean and welcoming milk, coffee, tea bags and shortbread were very welcome. A long mirror would be great and the bed a bit hard but everything else was great.

Very clean and well equipment accomodation, very good bathroom, nice back garden backing onto a field, parking space with property, short walk to sea front all in all a lovely stay thank you

The cottage itself is splendid by being the right side of cozy.

There was plenty of room for my family of four to live together for an extended time without tripping over each other too much. The decoration keeps it homey and the location is perfect for a five minute walk to Beadnell beach, which is great for our dogs. It also backs onto a horse field, the inhabitant of which is supremely friendly and loves a good scratch. Its location to good eating areas like the Craster Arms Inn and the Landing on Beadnell Beach make it perfect for people who fancy a good walk after a hearty meal too. Something I did want to add is the bathroom! It has been redone for a walk in-shower which adds so much space to the room. We're actually considering one for our own bathroom back home! Thanks again, the place was wonderful and we can't wait to be back! :)

The perfect place to explore the surrounding areas, the house had everything we needed, loved the garden bonus it was all secure so our dogs could explore freely.

Really friendly neighbour too . We wanted to book for next year shame about the price increase along with the increase in fees. Could we book direct with the homeowners

We stayed here last year so booked again this year we love the house and fenced in garden for our Dog been staying in Beadnell for about 20 years and this is our favourite house nice seeing the lovely neighbour Fiona again too hope to stay again next year

The cottage was well-equpped, very clean & perfectly located for the perfect holiday.

Such a lovely idea to have tea, coffee, milk etc on arrival.That was most welcome after our long journey. Would stay again. Cannot fault it.

Lovely cottage, well positioned for all Beadnell facilities.

Our dog came too and there were blankets and treats ready. Area is dog friendly and we enjoyed a wonderful break, sitting in the garden as the sun went down, very peaceful.

Lovely house in a peaceful location, clean throughout and a reasonable size for our party of 2 adults and 2 younger children.

Beadnell is a great base for exploring up and down the coast

I stayed in this cottage the summer of 2024.

I remembered it was having a fridge with a small ice box compartment, that the washing machine had seen better days and the space between the end of the bath and toilet was limited . i booked again as the price was reasonable , it is near to cafes, bus routes , coastal walks and the lovely back garden looks on to an open field with horses . on arrival i was very pleased to see the cottage had a completely new kitchen and shower room along with other improvements . big fridge freezer, new washeR. bathtub removed . clean, lovely and warm . will book again. thanks . This was the second time we’ve stayed at this cottage.

We will definitely look for this next time we are able to take a break. Clean, comfortable and calm in a quiet area. A few minutes walk from lovely beaches and the dogs loved it.

22 Longstone Park was clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Beadnell and the local area.

The beach, pub/restaurants/cafe, village shop and fish and chip van were a short walk away. We had a lovely time and found the accommodation great value for money. For 2 of us it was the perfect size and was well equipped and warm. Our dog Ruby also loved the secure garden. We often spend our holidays on the Northumberland coast and we would happily stay here again.

The property was the best of our 12 so far holiday stays in Beadnell.

We love the area as it's ideal for our two rescue spaniels. The garden at Dewdrop cottage is very secure which was perfect for our needs. We would love to be able to stay in the cottage in the future. Thank you for all the extras which were much appreciated. A fall on the bottom stair meant we lost a day or so of our holiday but even that didn't spoil things.

Comfortable well appointed clean cottage with lovely enclosed gardens.

Only slight niggle was the gaps in the banister which could be a risk for children. Great location within easy walking distance to fantastic beaches and the local pubs.

The toilet is a little cramped to get into for those of a larger stature!

The rest of the cottage was perfect! The garden is very secure, fab as we have 2 terriers that would have found an escape if there was one. We had morning visits from the horses in the field which was lovely the kitchen and living space is roomy and light and the beds very comfy! We've had a lovely stay and intend to book again for next year!

The property was very good and matched the description in the listing.

However, for me, there were two problems. The basin in the bathroom was small and located directly beneath the cabinet was difficult to use, for an instance in cleaning my teeth. The furniture in the lounge while as decided, was uncomfortable for me as I was unable to lean back.

The outdoor space was exactly what we needed for our two dogs to play in when we weren’t on the beach. The area was so peaceful.

We have been stayiing in Beadnell for many years this property comes top of list very well presented with everything you need very comfy bed having an enclosed garden was very good with having a dog too also having private parking was a bonus

Everything you need provided for. Lovely sunny garden overlooking a field of 2 horses. Within walking distance of two beaches and several places to eat.

The cottage is very well fitted out with everything you’d need.

It has a lovely garden and is so close to the beach. So like we have booked for October.

A comfortable property with great facilities.

Everything you need for your stay. Clean and tidy. Very dog friendly our dogs really enjoyed their stay especially walks on beaches twice a day. We will all return to this property. Thank you for the welcoming treats for dogs and humans.

oven constantly smoked even with no food in it, just warming up.

storage heaters made us ill, not sure if they need a clean out but were both ill. beds were spot on.

We arrived to find a dirty house with dog hairs everywhere and paw prints all over the patio doors, the toilet was dirty with a used bath mat on the floor.

We set about cleaning for the first hour after arriving ( including the patio doors) , later that evening we noticed water dripping from the ceiling spot light which soon spread to the next one. There were no contact numbers in the information book so I managed to find online Sykes emergency number. What a waste of time as no one even bothered to rang back!!! The leak eased when we switched the water heater off, I rang sykes booking line the next morning and eventually at about 6pm the owner sent a plumber who did his best to sort the problem. Unfortunately before we left it started leaking again so we left a note for the next guests. We will never book again with Sykes as they did not support us like we would expect or even call back to see if we were OK after the problems we'd had. I really hope the cleaning issues have been dealt with too for future guests as this property could be lovely. Garden is lovely and the double bed comfortable and clean!

Nice quiet spot with garden to 3 sides so we could let the dog roam around.

Couldn’t get the towel rail in the bathroom to heat up? The oven was not too clean we used tin foil on the shelves. There was way too much crockery and cutlery for us 2 which took up all the storage space in the kitchen. There was a fusty smell in the small bedroom which we didn’t use. We had a leak from the kitchen ceiling which we reported Thursday and got an email confirming receipt of the report. Then an email saying that the owner had booked a plumber but we were not contacted before we left on Saturday so left a note for the next occupant.

! Super dog friendly- 2enclosed gardens, treats, bowls, wooden flooring! Comfy bed+quiet location =good nights sleep!! Can recommend fish and chip van- had x2 in the week!! Messaged owner as needed to and got very prompt response! Friendly neighbour! Would definitely recommend- was gutted to leave after such an amazing week and will most definitely be back!!!❤️❤️❤️

Toilet brushes need cleaning or replacing. Needs a teapot.

Lovely little home from home.

The photographs do not do this house justice, better than expected. Well equipped with everything you need. Lovely little enclosed garden enjoyed watching the horse in the field. We also enjoyed watching the birds feeding their chicks in the nest. Thank you for letting us stay. Hopefully back for another stay soon.

A lovely cottage ,had everything we needed including condiments ,oil for cooking and washing up stuff,plenty towels and comfy bed.

Patio door leads to a lovely porch with table and chairs under cover ,like another room,enjoyed watching the swallows to and frowing from the nests.Our dogs enjoyed the garden which looked onto a field ,home to 1 horse. Will return when we can.

It was our second stay in Beadnell, but first in this property.

We’d forgotten just how lovely & picturesque the area is, the beaches are fantastic for dog walking. There are lots of inland walks as well. There are a handful of dog friendly pubs in the village, along with a local shop. The property itself was lovely, very comfortable and warm. It was well equipped with everything you could need to pots and pans, cleaning products, towels etc. The garden was secure for dogs and very peaceful to sit in. There was a choice of two sets of outdoor seating. The friendly horse in the field at the bottom of the garden was an added bonus. We had cause to communicate with the owner of the property, who was quick to respond and was very polite. We have already recommended this property to friends and family and definitely wouldn’t think twice about returning ourselves.

Lovely house, comfortable bed.

Quiet location, with a large field at the back,of a secure garden for the dogs. Situated just less than 10min walk to the beach. Less than 2 miles to Seahouses, which is a really nice place to visit. We had the added pleasure of watching the swallows, feeding their young, that had built a nest in the open porch.

Was quiet clean and welcoming xx could’ve done with a tv in bedroom , but that’s probably just us xx other than that loved every minute xxx
