“We were absolutely astonished at how good the accommodation was.”

“One of the best self catering accommodations we have ever had.”

Clean, comfy, everything we needed and we could (just about) see the sea. Jess springer loved that the beach was on the doorstep and so did we. Didn’t want to leave, would VERY highly recommend this apartment. Thank you for a wonderful and needed holiday.

“Really enjoyed our stay, property well equipped and comfortable.”

Bed in double room amazing; we slept really well. Like others have mentioned, the bathroom would benefit from a hook on the door and shelves/trays in the shower to keep shampoo etc. instead of having to constantly bend down to pick things up. I brought my own shower mat but agree one should be available along with a grab rail. Plug in night lights great. Will definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you.

“We had a wonderful time.”

The property is in an ideal position for exploring Northumberland. It is well appointed, clean and stylish. The shower base could be slippery for those infirm, however we got round this by putting a towel on the floor of the shower. Also there was nowhere to hang clothes, dressing gown etc while using the bathroom. Small niggles but easily overcome. Once again, we really enjoyed our stay at 2A The Anchorage.

Lovely stay great position only issue was nowhere to hang anything in bathroom and shower tray was very slippy would benefit from some grab handles as older guest's we felt very unsafe getting in and out of shower

“Nice ,clean ,tidy flat.”

Could do with a few more things in the kitchen.no egg cups or a teapot,some people still do like loose tea not bags,and there wasnt many things that could have been used in the microwave, other than that all was ok, just small things to cater for a range of people. We enjoyed our little break and would recommend this property.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
