It was quite expensive for only 2 nights but the furnishings were top spec so I can understand why. There was ample space in the property and it was easy to get to the beach and local areas. Many thanks

Second visit to Polished Pebble and everything was still as delightful as we remembered.

We were still impressed by the quality of the facilities and how much attention to detail had been made, to give visitors the best holiday experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. Beadnell is surprisingly well set up with village shop, harbour, beach,fish and chip van, pizza hut on the beach, cafes, church and pub all within easy walking distance from Polished Pebble.

Polished Pebble was everything you could wish for in a holiday stay.

The bungalow was really lovely beautifully furnished & equipped .It was in a peaceful & quiet in a great location for the the pub & the beach we couldn't have asked for more.

The property and it’s location was perfect.

My only complaint would be the outdoor furniture could do with a clean .

A beautifully furnished cottage with so much care and attention to detail.

You could tell the owners loved the house themselves and were proud to share it. Very stylish but cozy and comfortable and so well equipped with utensils, glassware and crockery. It was immaculately clean. Thank you Karen! Very central for the village pubs and restaurants, the only thing we missed was a view of the sea, but you can’t have everything!

Very nice property with high spec finish.

Couple of minor issues. Sink in main bathroom didn't drain well and we were unable to use the dishwasher as it needed rinse agent and salt but no rinse aid was available to use. Minor points as I say, however for the price charged for the stay, would have expected everything to be spot on.

Polished Pebble is a beautiful house in a great location.

The house has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The house is a stones throw from a pub and restaurants.

First class furnishing throughout this beautiful house.

Spotlessly clean and fresh and more than enough crockery and utensils that you will ever really use. Nothing cheap and nasty about this property. Within walking distance to the beach and restaurants and even a fish and chip van. Will look forward to returning here.

Perfect cottage in a great location.

We visit Beadnell every summer and never tire of our Northumberland fix. This cottage is wonderful. Worth the difficult journey on the A1! What a find!

A very comfortable well equipped home, with the added bonus of being all on one floor if anyone has difficulty with stairs.

Could not fault anything in the property. It is ideally situated for the beach and harbour and places of historical interest such as Alnwick and Bamburgh castles. There is a small local shop which sells newspapers and bakery items and other essentials, but Seahouses is a short drive away for more shops. Beadnell has a variety of eating places if you don't want to travel outwith the area.

A lovely place to spend three days with the kids while travelling locally to Bamburgh, Alnwick and Beadnell Bay.

Accomodation was very comfortable and clean and a nice welcome pack on arrival. Beds were very comfy and overall a very nice place to stay. Only downsides were that on the second night I had to spend half an hour trying to get the dishwasher to work. Kept giving an error which I googled to find it meant no water supply. I had seen in the guest book that the kitchen tap had recently been renewed so I checked the valves under the sink and found one closed off - opening this got the dishwasher working. Not really something the owner can be blamed for, rather probably a lazy plumber but still annoying when I wanted to relax after a long day. Only other minor gripe was that when we've stayed in other similarly priced accomodation nearby there's usually been a better choice of TV options. You don't go on holiday to watch TV but it does help sometimes with the kids. As I say a minor point though. Also, the table and chairs in the back garden were filthy - wasn't really warm enough to sit out anyway so not a problem for us but had we wanted to we would have needed to spend time cleaning them. Overall, loved the stay with just a few minor points for improvement.

Beautifully appointed holiday cottage in an excellent location in the centre of Beadnell and well located for visits to Seahouses, Bamburgh, Alnwick, Berwick and surrounding locations.

Very comfortable and spacious, fully equipped kitchen and ample parking spaces. Comfortable beds and good showers. Would definitely rebook when visiting this beautiful part of Northumbria.

A nice quiet property.

We had some issues regarding some of the rooms - wardrobe off the runners in main bedroom (had been mentioned by previous visitors), broken cistern in en suite, temporary repair made pending new parts, leaking kitchen tap ( to be repaired at the same time as the toilet cistern). Electric plugs showed next review for November 2023! Maybe we were unlucky but more attention needed. Sykes were vey good at trying to deal with the issues.

Stunning property in a fantastic location.

The decor was amazing with great attention to detail. The listing stated that there was a bbq but we never found it, and an outside tap/hose would have been massively beneficial for washing off sandy sandy wetsuits and equipment, but apart from that the cottage had everything we needed and we totally loved it!

Polished pebble is a beautiful property, spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean and tidy.

It has everything you could need and is perfectly placed for Amble, Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island.

Excellent property well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Very nicely decorated and lots of space. Set in a very quiet neighbourhood in the centre of Beadnell. Only improvement we would suggest is the quality of the pillows supplied- with everything else being so good these were a little bit tired and uncomfortable in comparison.

Maintained to the highest standard. Well equiped with everything required for the perfect holiday. Ideally located in a very quiet part of the village surrounded with friendly residents. Local shop stocking an amazing amount of essentials and excellent meals served at the local pub.

The Polished Pebble Cottage was amazing, it was very stylish inside and had everything that you would need, credit to the owners !

! I would recommend this property to anyone and we would definitely stay here again !

The property is set in a quiet cul de sac. Excellent location. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One of the best holiday properties we ever stayed in.

We've stayed in Beadnell and the surrounding areas many times, over the last 20 years.

We all felt that Polished Pebble is one of the nicest places we've stayed in during that time. It has a lovely open plan yet cozy and comfortable vibe to it. The decoration and furnishings are lovely, and the owner has clearly put a lot of effort into their property. I just hope that everyone else who stays there, continues to look after it as we did! The cul-de-suc is such a peaceful little spot, it made for a great break from the daily grind to recharge the batteries.
