    “A lovely little place to stay.”

    It was immaculately clean, well maintained and thoughtfully equipped/furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large cupboard left empty for food storage. The sofa and bed were both very comfortable, linens were lovely quality and the shower had decent pressure for an electric. The owner had left all the basics, like bin bags, toilet roll, washing up liquid, as well as a lovely hamper of treats for us and the dog. The conservatory was a sun trap in the morning and ...

The conservatory was a sun trap in the morning and overlooks a lovely green area - it was great to see neighbours and families out using the space when the sun came out. The allocated parking is narrow as others have mentioned but perfectly usable even with a bigger car. Definitely deserves the 5 star rating.

This single-storey Beadnell cottage is well decorated and furnished throughout and provides a compact base, with a double bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen and sitting/dining room.

The enclosed front decked area is a lovely place to enjoy a cold beverage after a day on the beach or visiting one of many tourist attractions in the area.

Beadnell is an excellent choice for everyone in your party.

Relax on the sandy beach, or try your hand at the vast array of watersports that are on offer.

There are many activities in the surrounding area of this Beadnell cottage, including a number of excellent links golf courses, riding, fishing, walking and cycling.

Further afield from this Northumberland cottage is a vast array of attractions, including the castles at Alnwick, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh, Holy Island, Hadrian's Wall, Berwick-upon-Tweed and The Alnwick Garden.

With plenty of things to see and do, this Beadnell cottage is the perfect coastal retreat.

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
