    “First impressions on arrival are that the property is situated near an industrial area, a busy train crossing and roadside.”

    Upon entry, the property was pleasing and clean. A lovely touch of welcome goods including cake, bread, milk, tea, coffee and wine. There were no instructions provided on how to operate the cooker, so we had to work this out ourselves. There was also a parking display disc provided, however further information on its use and general information about the local area would have been helpful. The mattress in the main bedroom was not very comfortable. On the plus side, the property allowed easy ...

The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders. The opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from nearby Seahouses, is not to be missed.
