“Very pleasant and comfortable small cottage.”
No garden, but a small yard with a picnic table, next to the stream. Plenty of parking nearby. Good WIFI/Internet. Bathroom has bath but no real shower, which was was the only thing we at all missed. Interesting collection of fowl (muscovy ducks, turkeys, etc.) plus rabbits wandering around outside, which we enjoyed. Belford itself is a very good base for North Northumberland - large enough to have a good supermarket (within easy walking distance of the cottage) and a few places to eat and drink, but not large enough to be noisy, and only a couple of minutes drive from the A1. All in all, a very good stay.

Situated amongst breath-taking scenery, it is well positioned for walking and cycling, desirable for enthusiasts wanting an adventurous holiday.
