“The cottage and garden were lovely and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.”

Things I wished I knew before going… The gate to the garden appeared broken and doesn’t lock so not fully secure but my dogs didn’t try to escape. The stairs are a bit of a nightmare as they’re steep and slippy and there’s no way of blocking them off (if going with dogs or small children I would advise taking your own stair gate to avoid accidents). The cottage does also get quite damp now the autumnal weather is here so opening the windows daily is a must!! Also the parking is across ...

The cottage does also get quite damp now the autumnal weather is here so opening the windows daily is a must!! Also the parking is across the road from the cottage as the lane is too narrow to park outside Overall this cottage is in the perfect location for exploring the area of Northumberland and with a few tweaks it would be amazing! It was very clean when I arrived and the shower room was great!
