The property

Bilton Farm Cottage No2 is a comfortable traditional stone-built farm cottage set in the tiny hamlet of Bilton, only 2 miles from Alnmouth and its lovely beaches.

The cottage is an ideal base for the holidaymaker wishing to tour the coast and explore some of the many walks along old railway lines and farmland. GROUND FLOOR Living/dining room large with electric fire and TV/DVD.

Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Bathroom with bath, over shower, WC and basin. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with double bed and single bed. Bedroom 2 with child size bunk beds. OTHER FACILITIES Enclosed lawn garden to the front.

Night storage heaters.

All electricity and bed linen included in rent.

Parking to the rear.

Steep staircases.

ALNMOUTH

Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
