Suited to a small family or group of friends, the lodge offers a spacious veranda and a Smart TV, making it the ideal holiday accommodation any time of year. When you arrive at the lodge, off-road parking makes unloading easy, before taking a couple of steps up and into the lodge. An open-plan living space offers all the appliances you need for an enjoyable self-catered stay, including a gas oven and hob and an integrated microwave. Gather your loved ones at the dining table and savour a scrumptious breakfast as you plan your day. When you return, sink into the corner sofa and flick through the options on the Smart TV. As the evening grows darker, make your way to the bedrooms for some rest; a king-size with a convenient en-suite basin and WC, and a twin with small singles allow you to rest your head, before waking up and freshening up in the family shower room. Each with their own off-road parking and veranda, the lodges are the ideal holiday homes for families or friends. With so much to see and do in the area, while enjoying an idyllic location nestled within the countryside yet just a short drive from the coast, there is something for everyone. The delightful village of West Thirston is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
