The Beach House (Beadnell)

Just back from a lovely week at The Beach House.

We were very lucky with the weather but even some clouds couldn’t dampen the stay here. The house is lovely, super comfortable, everything you could possibly need and very spacious, feels like home away from home. This was our 2nd visit and will definitely be back. Great location only a couple of minutes walk to the beach, Beadnell is lovely and close to so many other fabulous days out. Also had a few lovely afternoons sat on the decking enjoying the sun :) Couple of niggles with things being left in the house by past guests but quick responses from the management company. The house is well equipped, kitchen has everything you need and beds are super comfortable. Sadly our dog injured himself on the 3rd day of our stay and after an operation at the vet had to spend some time recuperating, thankfully he was also glad of the lovely surroundings to make a recovery in. Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon for a less eventful and more relaxing time.

We have just had a fabulous stay at The Beach House ,Beadnell , a beautiful home so close to the beautiful Beadnell bay .

Absolutely everything you needed, clean comfortable and impressive interior design fixtures & fittings, and soft furnishings. We only had one slight issue, which was that we could not get the main bathroom shower to work , however it did not effect our fab time there. We will definitely return , hopefully soon, & can definitely recommend “The Landings bar & kitchen,” close by, for drinks, tasty food, live music and weekends , especially if the sun is shining.

Just returned home from a week staying in the Beach House.

It is a beautiful house with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Warm and cosy even though it was January! Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it and will be returning soon!

The house was beautifully presented and well equipped. The location was perfect given we love to spend much of our time walking on the beach. We were blessed with beautiful sunrises each morning. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to visit again.

Fantastic location so close to the beach and The Landing and easy access to the other pubs in the village.

Really light and airy. Overall very comfortable and well kitted out. Loved the log burner. Easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 dogs. Will definitely be back next year. Unfortunately had to keep our dogs on leads on the large grassed areas as so many rabbits!!!!!

Immaculate upon arrival, beautifully appointed. Perfect for a relaxing break on the Northumbrian coast.

We have stayed at this property as a family group last year so we have something to compare it to.

This year we found that the house was not as clean as last year. There is a very full kitchen with everything you could need, although with such good eating options in Beadnell and within a short walk, there isn’t much need to cook. The location is brilliant, especially if, like us, you walk along the beach for miles and miles. What we felt let it down this year, were the beds. They felt rather well worn in the middle, especially the twin room. The girls sleeping there did not have such a good rest as last year. The new rug in the living room is very slippery on the floor and we had several near misses. It definitely needs something to stop the slipping. We also were slightly annoyed that not all the dining plates fit in the dishwasher - irritating when it’s full and dirty!

We have stayed at this property a number of times and others on the site but we noticed a huge improvement this visit.

It was lovely before but had many new additions that really perfected the property. Lovely cushions, rugs and a new carpet being a few. The kitchen was well equipped, nothing we couldn’t find. Plenty of glasses, plates and cups. Tennis rackets, yoga mat, candles everything. The place was spotless when we arrived and we really enjoyed our trip. Thank you

Amazing place, really loved it.

This is a lovely and very well kitted out cottage.

We felt very comfortable and at home here with everything you need for catering for a family holiday. It was comfortable for the five of us, however I’m not sure how comfortable it would be for 7 adults in the sitting room. It’s great that dogs are accepted in a beautiful cottage - so often people with dogs are left with very old and worn out furniture, thank you for that. We will definitely come back as we felt very comfortable. The only thing that we didn’t like were the flat bottom sheets on the beds. They kept slipping during the night and were quite annoying. You may want to have a look at the middle support of the curtain rail by the dining table, it’s very wobbly. The downstairs bedroom needs a lightbulb in the ceiling light.

This is our second time here and we have already booked to come again.

Beautiful relaxing property with a fantastic location close to the beach. The property has everything you need for a great holiday!

Beautiful beach house in a great location, perfect for a family get together.

The property was beautifully clean. Lovely welcome touches provided by the owner, which included a hamper as we were Christmas guests. That was a good indication of the owners commitment to their guests enjoying their stay. No hesitation in recommending the property to anyone looking for a holiday retreat.

Ideal beach house in excellent location , high standard of furnishings and cleanliness , would book again.

However there were issues: Major - the heating wasn’t working on arrival , and to bathe 2 children we needed to boil kettles. We reported the problem shortly after arrival , the heating was repaired on Saturday at 11am. Minor - on arrival we noted that the curtain rail in the main bedroom needed fixing , as well as the shower head in the main bathroom.

Lovely comfortable modern property, New England style, few minutes walk to the beautiful Beadnall Bay beach.

Spotlessly clean with everything you need to hand. Looking forward to returning soon

We've had a great week in the Beach House.

It's a lovely house, well equipped, perfect for our family. Great location to the beach, great storage for all our beach equipment and even the paddle board.

Already booked to come back next year. Beautiful property that is extremely well equipped. So relaxing!

We had our first stay at the Beach House 12th-19th May 2023.

I say first, because we would love to return. The house is spacious, light filled and with its open plan layout designed for modern living. With every comfort catered for, it is the perfect place to kick back and relax in. We know the area well and it is ideally situated for beach walks and activities or alternatively trips into the Northumberland hills. There are just the right amount of cafe and dining options in Beadnell for when cooking on holiday is just too much work without it being overly crowded and Seahouses is a very short drive away to cater for most whims and needs.
