“Perfect little base for a couple who want to explore Northumberland or go walking.”

It is compact but not too much so. It is cosy and well thought out and we found it very comfortable. It has no view but you step out the door, turn the corner and you’re on the harbour and have the most amazing views! My husband spent a lot of time on the seats there enjoying the view, the sounds and atmosphere. I wish I could include photos! In a previous a previous review someone complained about upstairs noise. My husband spent a lot of time on the seats there enjoying the view, the sounds and atmosphere. I wish I could include photos! In a previous a previous review someone complained about upstairs noise. It is a flat so you’re bound to hear moving about upstairs. The ONLY noise we heard was a toddler run across the floor. That’s what toddlers do. It was in no way excessive, disruptive or disturbing. Another complained about the size, described the bedroom as a cupboard with beds in. Rubbish! It is compact but not too small and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is clearly set out by the holiday company on line. I cannot recommend it enough. If you want more, pay for more. You won’t get a better bargain!
