This property was comfortable and homely it had everything you needed.

The use of the garage for bike storage was excellent and the icing on the cake the use of the beach trolly with buckets and spades seats and also paddle boards you really couldn’t ask for more . Communication with the owner was great .

Another great week at Driftwood Sands.

Our second visit to this lovely property which has a real luxury feel to it. It is brilliantly located just a stone throw from the beach and well equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable holiday. Sleeping with the bedroom windows open and being able to hear the sea is just an extra bonus! We are already planning our third visit and can't wait to return.

Fantastic Stay We had a fantastic stay at Driftwood Sands with friends to celebrate my partner 's 60th birthday.

Instructions to get to the house were clear & concise & also the key collection. Jo sent a lovely welcome text. The downstairs is a lovely open living space with plenty of room for x6 adults. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals and seating area is very comfortable to be able to relax in an evening. Although cold at times we were able to seat outside in the garden which was great. Real suntrap. On evening we watched the rabbits in the garden with their young ones although Jo might not be happy as they were making burrows in her garden

Ideal beachside location with local amenities all within walking distance. Homely, comfortable and well equipped house. Spotless bathrooms and very spacious (super comfy!) bedrooms and living space. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday on the North coast.

We had an excellent stay in this remarkably comfortable property.

The house is equipped to a very high standard and the beautiful decor shows a great deal of attention to detail. Very clean too. Although the heating was remotely controlled by the owner, we could override it to suit our needs and this was a huge relief given the extremely cold and stormy weather. It felt homely as soon as we arrived. Thank you!

This is an amazing holiday home and we had such a great time at Driftwood Sands.

Plenty of space for our party of 4 adults and 2 children. Everything done to a high standard. It’s in a perfect location close to the beautiful beach, a lovely restaurant and a short walk to a nice small park and more places to eat and drink. We loved it so much that we have already booked to stay again next year! Only issue I would raise is the accuracy of the listing with regards to the second double bedroom. It states it is a king size bed and whilst it is comfy, it is smaller than expected from the listing and felt more like a double bed. However, as mentioned it has not put us off booking again and we are very excited to come again.

We arrived at the property for a short autumn break after a long car journey in cold wet weather and were delighted to find the property warm and welcoming.

The accomodation at Driftwood Sands was very comfortable and gave us a real 'home from home' feeling. The location of the property was good for access to beaches, eating out, visiting popular nearby places and walking. We really enjoyed our stay. Graham, Staffs.

Perfect location for the beach. Interesting cutlery drawer. Drive fits just 1 car not ideal if travelling with > 1 car. Very comfortable property and would be happy for a repeat visit.

It is beautifully furnished, very well equipped, spotless and so comfortable - we couldn’t fault it at all. Jo should be very proud of the house, there’s obviously been so much thought put into making sure guests have everything they would need and more. The location is excellent, so close to the beach and all the amenities Beadnell has to offer plus is well placed to visit other parts of Northumberland. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back. Thank you!

A really comfortable and clean house with stylish furniture and fittings and all the equipment you need for your holiday.

The location right on the coast is only a short car ride to many of the major Northumberland tourist attractions.

Great well equipped place within minutes of the beach. The place was perfect for our 3 generation family holiday. Great communication throughout. Would highly recommend.

A lovely house which as fully equipped with everything you could require.

The house is large and very comfy indeed. Ideally placed for beach which is a minutes walk and old village with pubs and restaurants approx 15 min walk. Would certainly recommend this property for families or couples. Jo the owner also very helpful towards us prior to our stay. Thanks

Wonderful holiday at Driftwood Sands.

The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay, multiple bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, log burner, extremely close to the beach. This property is finished to a very high standard and you won't be disappointed. We particularly like the open plan living and banquet seating around the dining table. This is our 2nd time here and hope to be back again in the future.

We don’t usually go on holiday in mid-December (this was a rearranged break due to family illness) but spending five nights at Driftwood Sands - and with some decent weather - made this an absolutely lovely break.

The property had everything we could ask for - it was clean, comfortable, well appointed and welcoming. The location is brilliant - handy for all our favourite spots, and the two minute walk to the beach meant we finished each day walking on the sand watching some gorgeous sunsets, followed by relaxation in front of the very efficient log burner. We will definitely be back - thank you so much Jo.

Driftwood Sands is a fabulous property, well equipped, decorated to a high standard & a few minutes away from the beach, it’s a dream combination, I’d recommend the property & look forward to booking it up again.

The House is definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in.

We love this part of the world and have visited several times over the years. It is nice to have such a lovely base with everything we need to hand. We hope to return again soon

We had a lovely stay in this stylish, well situated, warm and spotlessly clean home.

It was really well equipped with beautiful furniture and newly renovated. We had fabulous weather and enjoyed walks to Craster, Low Newton, Bamburgh and Seahouses. Would love to stay again in the future.

The property is furnished and maintained to a high standard, which makes for a really comfortable stay. We have stayed in many holiday rentals over the years and this is definitely one of the best. Jo, the owner, was in touch and available to answer any queries throughout the week (although everything is very self explanatory). The location is a perfect base to explore Northumberland, especially the coastal towns and area.

The location gave us a fantastic base from which to visit and discover the Northumberland coast, whether by foot or by car. We enjoyed waking up each morning to a lovely view of the sea!

Fabulous property in a great location!

we have stayed in many properties in Beadnell over the years and this was by far the highest standard. Lovely furnishings and really nicely decorated, lots of great bathrooms and bedrooms, we were not short of anything during our stay. Well equipped kitchen too, and we loved having breakfast in the open plan setting. Log fire was great to to keep us cosy at night. The house is in a great location only 2 minutes walk to the beach at Beadnell. We could have moved in!! Thank you as well for the welcome items and the milk in the fridge, a really nice touch after a long drive !! well be back!

We’ve had a wonderful holiday staying at Driftwood Sands.

Beadnell is blessed with beautiful beaches and spectacular scenery and is close to lots of places to eat. The house is gorgeous. Spotlessly clean. Tasteful and comfortable and equipped to the highest standard that I’ve ever experienced in a self catering holiday home. It really did feel like home from home. The welcome package was a lovely surprise on arrival. Thank you so much to the owners. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed at Driftwood Sands over New Year .

It was a perfect location close to the beach and restaurant/ cafe . The house was very comfortable with everything you could need . Perfect for a family or maybe two to three couples wanting a break . Close to other local amenities and a wonderful Northumberland coast retreat ! Perfect

We had a wonderful week in Driftwood Sands, I didn’t want to leave.

We arrived in the dark to be greeted by a lovely warm house that was lit gently by a cosy inviting light, thankyou for thinking of that little welcoming touch. Perfect location to the beach ( 5 mins) and on a nice quiet residential street. We had some great walks to low newton by the sea and Seahouses along the beaches- We do love staying in Beadnell. We fully appreciated the welcome pack of essential foods and goodies, thank you, it was very thoughtful and a lovely surprise. The kitchen was fully equipped for our needs and the space was very suitable for being sociable for a larger group/ family ( only two of us on this visit). All kitchen equipment and appliances appeared brand new and plentiful. I did note when cooking that the extractor fan didn’t vent externally, but only vented/ exausts into the little cupboard housing the fan- it caused the cupboard door to blow open when the fan was on- it didn’t bother me, just felt the landlord may wish to know
