“Kitchen was very small , lack of work space , frying pan was terrible !”

Bedroom ! I had to climb over my disabled wife to get out ! Shower dribbled out ! Took ages to get wet !

“Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very clean and tidy property that had more than enough household amenities to make our weeks holiday away, more enjoyable.”

For two people and a dog, there was more than enough room, and was an ideal base to return to after a good days walk. We definitely hope to return!

Lynn the owner is very helpful with any questions you may have. The location is good being near the village centre with church,pubs, shop and bus stops nearby. The various inlets and beaches are within easy walking distance.

Close to sandy beaches, easy walk to shop and pub. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Very dog-friendly area where we could take our dog to the pub, the beach and most local attractions. Would highly recommend the area, the cottage and the local guided walks.

ACCOMMODATION OVER ONE LEVEL (Ground) Living room with flat screen TV, dining table and chairs, CD/radio. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Bedroom with double bed. Shower room with shower, WC and basin. OTHER FACILITIES Small patio with furniture. Electric heating and immersion heater. All power, bed linen and towels included in rent. BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
