Chapel Cottage

This was a beautiful little cottage perfect for a couple!

It’s incredibly well equipped and pristine! The courtyard is tiny but lovely for a coffee, not sure how I’d feel if the neighbours were using their garden. The parking permits are a wonderful addition and we had no problem finding nearby parking just not outside the house but this wasn’t an issue at all! It’s in a great position for seeing lots of the county and Corbridge itself is a lovely spot with shops, cafes and pubs a plenty. The owner is very easy to contact and extremely helpful even let us have the parking permit after checking out as we did something locally on our last day! Would love to stay again in the future and would definitely recommend to others. A fan in the hot weather would have been nice but we managed with opening the windows as it’s in a very quiet spot - birdsong was the only thing that woke us

This beautiful little cottage is such a gem.

Right in the heart of gorgeous Corbridge, it''s a stone's throw from all the shops - especially Grant's the awardwinning baker's! - so is really handy. The cottage is beautifully decorated - everything seemed to be new - and nothing was skimped on. There was impressive attention to detail. The cottage was immaculate, cosy and warm. We really loved it and would definitely love to to stay again. We were a little concerned about parking as Corbridge is busy, but we didn't have a problem as a permit is provided and we could usually park close to the cottage. Would highly recommend!

Chapel Cottage is delightful, well presented with all that one needs for a restful stay.

The Casa Rosso Italian restaurant almost next door is recommended as is The Black Bull Inn nearby. Corbridge is well served by a variety of independent shops together with an excellent butcher, bakery and deli.

It is a lovely warm cottage in a very prime site for accessing Hadrian's Wall, and a lot of other historical places, Corbridge old town is a must to see and an easy place to walk to.

The village has everything you would need.The owners are very approachable. We would happily go back there.

We recommend you stay there interior of cottage is great and has everything there that you need . Straight out door and literally round the corner and you are in town .A few. doors down from the cottage we went the Italian that we highly recommend it’s excellent. Definitely always stay here .

Lovely place to stay .

Right in the heart of the village/town. Second time staying in this property in the last 2 months this year. Lots of lovely shops and eating places . What a lovely atmosphere.

A well looked after, tastefully decorated and played out cottage.

Very clean and comfortable. Situated in a quiet part of the village. Corbridge is a great place to look around with lots of cafés, pubs and restaurants. Many good walks from the village, including riverside walks, historic Roman Town remains and Hadrians Wall.

A cosy cottage in a lovely village and perfect location for many Northumberland Historic attractions.

The cottage was super clean , well equipped and maintained. Corbridge is a busy little village with plenty of shops & pubs parking was easy with the pass provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Chapel Cottage as a perfect holiday let.

The Italian restaurant a few doors away is great. A great base for exploring the area too.

Had everything we needed for a short break and had all the facilities to self cater if you wanted to. Very warm and cosy. Would definitely return.

Chapel cottage was great.

Very comfortable and spotless. Very convenient for everything and we managed to park outside the house every time we returned. Met the owner who was very helpful about the parking permit, which was very useful. Only one comment about an outside light. The front door step was in darkness going out and in at night. Only main street lights were at the end of the road. Would be safer if there was an outside light to put on temporarily. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend it others.

Corbridge is a lovely village, with lots of cafes and places to eat, and it's a great location for exploring the area. So would I want to return - oh yes!

Everything you could want in this lovely home ,as soon as you step out the door just round the corner you are in the Villiage .so much to see and do and everyone so friendly.lots of pubs shops restaurants to choose from .Also Ian and Julie who own the property even have sorted free parking tickets for the car . Lovely cottage in a central position for all local amenities - recommend the local Italian and Indian restaurants within metres of the property, and the wonderful bakery too.

Quiet despite the central location. Generally managed to get parked on the street outside but when we returned during the day we did have to park elsewhere on a couple of occasions, but only a short walk away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chapel Cottage, it was very cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

It was great to have such a lovely town on our doorstep, with lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops etc. We would love to come back to the cottage for another visit.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location.

On this occasion I was on my own ( visiting family in the region) but this property is ideal for a couple or a small young family. It is exactly as advertised.

This beautiful cottage in a lovely village really made our holiday, it had everything we needed and was so homely and warm, Very clean and well looked after, Parking outside the cottage can be limited but there is always a space in the village to park, plus a permit is supplied which is great,can't fault the place atal,

Everything there that we needed and information at hand to . Parking permits provided for street and car parks . Cottage situated straight into town. Excellent choice of shops restaurants and pubs . Fantastic central location.

Parking permit made it very easy to park near the property. Spotlessly clean with a great facilities. Very responsive owners. Would stay again and highly recommend.

The parking pass was a great help, as parking within the village is very limited.

Ideal , relaxing weekend in a lovely cozy place with everything you need.

Corbridge was lovely we’d only cycled through it before, nice walks from the door to river and to the wall. Wander round the Roman fort, pubs were great and the bakery around the corner has to be tried. Parking disc works everywhere so even if we couldn’t get outside the house we could park just round the corner. Local parkrun is only 10 mins away which suited us perfectly - lovely

Fantastic stay at Chapel Cottage.

Warm and cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away. It’s right in the heart of this beautiful village, close to Hexham and Hadrians Wall, and a short walk to the station for a day in Newcastle. Thank you

Beautiful cottage and ideally located in town for walking distance access to all amenities.

As I was dealing with a bereavement, No 12 Chapel Cottage was the perfect haven.

It was convenient to shops, hotel, local church, where an entire community were kindness itself in my time of need. With special thanks to the owner Julie who went above and beyond the call of duty to befriend me. The Angel hotel provided take away delicious meals. Proximity to Hexam - perfect, where I had to use public transport. I would would love to return in the summer to enjoy a real holiday in No 12 Chapel Cottage. Wonderful.

Perfect for our short stay. Weather was atrocious but we were more than happy to sit by the log fire and watch six nations!

This is a lovely cottage in an excellent position close to the centre of Corbridge - perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside of Northumberland.

Two issues: 1.

Neither of the upstairs windows appear to open. Gets very stuffy upstairs in small bedrooms; 2. No instructions provided about operation of any of the appliances.
