Farne View Cottage nestled in the quiet hamlet of Elford, on the outskirts of Bamburgh is a cosy holiday cottage for couples or small families with children upto the age of 10yrs. This mid terrace farm cottage built in 1865 that has undergone extensive refurbishment to now offer comfortable accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children. With stunning views from the lounge and bedroom windows over the fields to the coast and the Farne Islands beyond. The property is well sited for families looking for a quiet, semi-rural location with fabulous walks located on your doorstep and the Heritage Coastline is approx a mile and a half away. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Lounge/Dining room with wood burning stove, 2 armchairs, Smart TV / DVD player, dining table with built in seating and chairs. Kitchen with electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC, bidet, basin, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. Stairs from lounge to first floor. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with king size zip link bed (can be set up as a twin on request) and TV. Bedroom 2 with twin beds (children up to 10 yrs of age only) OTHER FACILITIES Communal front garden grassed area with communal washing line, parking at front of property for one car (best to reverse in/drive out). Oil central heating. All power, linen, towels and starter pack for wood burner included in the rent. 1 small dog welcome. This property is two doors away from South View (Bamburgh).

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
