    “We had a lovely week at Beachward.”

    The cottage is in a perfect location right beside an amazing beach. Katya the cottage owner was very helpful and gave us lots of information and was available to help with any problems if needed. We would love to return again soon.

The property

Beachward is a very attractive, stone-built cottage is part of a conversion from former farm buildings with superb panoramic views overlooking the coast and the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.

Equipped to a high standard with quality furnishings, the cottage is also recommended for its superb location and spectacular views.

The beautiful beach at Embleton voted Countryfile Beach of the Year 2017 and Dunstanburgh Castle golf course are both nearby. ACCOMMODATION OVER ONE LEVEL (Ground) Living room with log burning stove, TV/DVD, CD/radio and sea views. Dining area with table and chairs. Kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer and sea views. Shower room with power shower, WC and basin.

Bedroom 1 with double bed and sea views. Bedroom 2 with full size bunk beds. OTHER FACILITIES Enclosed courtyard patio garden and furniture.

Oil central heating.

Starter fuel for the fire, all power and bed linen included in rent.

EMBLETON

Craster 3 miles; Beadnell 4 miles; Alnwick 7 miles.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
