“Absolutely gorgeous property with stunning views.”

The cottage was fantastically equipped, having virtually everything we needed right down to a highchair, cutlery and crockery for our little one (19 months old). She absolutely loved seeing the chickens and ducks, going swimming and exploring the fields on site. There is so much to see and do in the local area and even more places to explore within a 30 minute drive. Bamburgh castle is a must do and the beach at Beadnell is stunning (1 hour free parking in the car park too!). Our only complaints ...

Bamburgh castle is a must do and the beach at Beadnell is stunning (1 hour free parking in the car park too!). Our only complaints were the mattress and sofas were pretty worn out and not the comfiest but everything else was so brilliant, it’s easy to look past this. We had such a lovely stay here and will definitely be back.

About the location

EMBLETON

Craster 3 miles; Beadnell 4 miles; Alnwick 7 miles.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.

Please Note: This property will only accept a check in on a Saturday.

Swimming pool bookings cannot be made in advance of yours stay.
