The property is situated overlooking the valley which offers the most wonderful view to wake up to.

Morning coffee on the patio is a must. We found the barn to be most welcoming upon arrival and thought the packet of cookies bottle of wine and bag of treats for our dog a lovely touch. We couldn’t fault our stay here finding everything to our taste including an inviting log burner. The location of the property is perfect for exploring the surrounding villages and countryside walks are all around. Our only concern was that we couldn’t stay longer such was it’s appeal.

We very much loved our stay in the Barn.

The standard of cleanliness and facilities are very high. It was very comfortable in all aspects for us. However we found the outside was not so secure for our dog. The need to supervise him was there, as it was easy for him to get to the road. However well behaved our dog is, the need to see the other side of the fence can always be found! We would quite happily visit again though.

We had a marvellous stay at The Barn.

It was absolutely lovely and had every comfort. It was very peaceful and the view from all those windows was a treat. Thank you Simon. Just a suggestion re the directions (by road). Satnav is great but sometimes lacks the all important detail. (1) "As you leave the village follow the road as it bends around a wood to your left FOR ABOUT HALF A MILE.... (2) "....and take the next left junction (JUST BEFORE THE BUS STOP) up the steep hill. The entrance to The Barn is the SECOND GATEWAY ON THE LEFT.
