The pretty village of Longhorsley sits at the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots and the coast and provides great access to a range of great walks and cycle routes. The village offers a local pub serving good food, a hairdressers and a local store. The bustling village of Rothbury lies just 9 miles to the west, nestling between the Simonside and Lordenshaw Hills with the River Coquet meandering through the centre. Brinkburn Priory is a pleasant, short drive away - a restored Augustinian Priory in a most lovely setting beside the River Coquet.
