From the very get go this has been a really easy and enjoyable stay!

Jane communicated with me throughout to make sure we got the keys to check in and at the end to ensure everything was okay. We arrived and there was bread, cereal and milk waiting which was a nice touch and well needed before we managed a food shop. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our needs. The location could not be any better - right bedside the sea. I’m going to miss the views from the Juliette balcony. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’m sure we’ll definitely be back next year!!

The host, Jane, at Sandy Corner was very welcoming and firendly; it was a pleasure to meet her.

Key collection and return was very straightforward. Jane provided us with a second set of keys, in case we needed them. There were spaces for two cars. The property itself was well furnished and clean. For the three of us it was cetainly big enough and the views over the sea were wonderful. It was lovely to wake up and drink a coffee watching the waves, gulls and ships. Within a couple of minute's drive, maybe ten minutes walk, was a parade of shops including a small supermarket, an excellent fish and chips shop and an ice cream parlour! In the kitchen, we found that Jane had left us with biscuits, bread milk, tea and coffee, marmalade etc. All in all it was an excellent place for our break.

Great apartment with views over Blythe beach and out to sea, in a good location.

Flat is comfortable, warm and well equipped with a private parking space at the rear. Apartment is on the second floor and accessed via two sets of stairs: shower is also over the bath so requires a step over to access. Kitchen is well equipped and also has a washing machine which is not on the listing. Coffee shop, Fish & Chip restaurant and also a nice friendly Bistro bar called Breeze are on the beach front about 5 mins walk away.

From the greeting on arrival to going home was a positive experience.

The flat had everything we needed and was very clean. A vase of flowers and welcome pack was a lovely touch that made us feel very welcomed. We couldn’t have wished for anything better. I would certainly recommend the appartment to our friends. Thank you for your kindness Jane. It was very much appreciated.

Another wonderful holiday at Sandy Corner.

This is our third stay in this lovely property. Views are just amazing looking out to sea. The apartment its self is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your break there. A generous welcome pack from Jane and Darren gets you off to a great start. We will definitely be back over the winter months. It really is a home from home and the perfect location to explore Northumberland and surrounding areas.

Clean, comfortable and with lovely view

We have stayed in cottage accommodation for many years but this has definitely been nicest, cleanest and best equipped we have ever stayed in.

Everything that you could possibly need was there for you including a lovely welcome pack for us and our dog (even dog bowls and treats). Jane was the best host ever and was there to welcome us when we arrived. We would definitely recommend to anyone for the accommodation and the location overlooking the promenade and beach. A really lovely holiday apartment in an ideal location for us as we were visiting family nearby.

Everything you need and more! I’m not surprised it’s often been fully booked when we have wanted to stay before. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely return again.

The owner went above and beyond anyone's expectations.

Absolutely faultless. She provided basic food, milk, bread, tea and coffee etc. She left lots of information in the accommodation regarding places to visit, and in-dept details on how to operate the appliances. I'd love to go to the same apartment again, I really would. Unfortunately, my husband and I struggled with the stairs, we both have heart issues. But that doesn't take away from the sheer loveliness of both the owner and the accommodation.

The owner Jane very friendly & helpful, met us with keys on our arrival, took us up to property explaining everything we needed to know about property and amenities, apartment was so clean, modern, light & cosy.

Our welcome pack had everything you needed & more. Property has an amazing view of the sea & beach. Local shop, fish shop, ice cream shop & bistro so close to property also lots of free parking, hidden gem, definitely recommend

This is a beautiful apartment in a nice spot over looking the sea and battery.

There was a bus stop right outside which was convenient for getting about. It was perfectly clean and well organised and all of the little touches made this place a delight to stay in. The owner is local and friendly and made great efforts to make sure, we had a great holiday. Weather was perfect aswell!

This is a splendid cottage, cosy and super comfortable.

Everything you need to enjoy your stay and a lovely welcome basket too. Some places have lists of DOs and DONTs but at Sandy Corner the only thing Jane wants is for her guests to have a great holiday. We were blessed with good weather but the cottage has lots to keep you busy on wet days too. The views alone are worth it.

This is the most immaculate and well facilitated property we have ever stayed in.

Thr owner was kind and attentive and made sure everything was perfect.The location right on the sea front was fantastic and even the weather was kind.The welcome food supplies were a bonus.Certainly one to return to.!!

The appt.

Was pristine. Very well looked after. Decor was simple but suited the appt. All bedding and towels were of high standard. Cannot recommend this appt. enough. Owners had put milk, bread, biscuits and cereal out for us, and even biscuits for our dog. They were so helpful.

We had a great week in Sandy Corner, especially being able to just cross the road to walk our very active Springer on the grass and excellent beach several times every day.

Jane met us at the property to welcome us and give us a quick tour, explain the keys, etc, and left us some essentials including milk, bread, tea and coffee. The flat was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and had a superb view of the beach and sea. We would certainly recommend this property to others and will bear it in mind the next time we’re up there.

Our stay at this holiday apartment was truly exceptional!

The host's attention to detail was incredible, especially when it came to the food. She thoughtfully provided a starter pack that included milk, bread, cereal, butter, and some lovely marmalade, making us feel so welcome right from the start. She also added a lovely touch with fresh flowers in the apartment. On top of that, she was amazing with our little boy and even offered to help with our bags when we arrived—a kind and thoughtful gesture that really made a difference. The apartment itself was lovely, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. But what really stood out was the breathtaking view of the beach—we could gaze at it all day! The beach is right opposite the apartment, making it a perfect location for beach lovers like us. Blyth Beach was fantastic, and The Breeze Lounge is a gem, offering fabulous service, delicious food, and great coffee. We also took a boat trip to the Holy Islands, which was another highlight of our trip. Our entire family loved every bit of our stay, and we highly recommend this apartment to others. We can't wait to come back again!

We had a fabulous time, the apartment was lovely & clean & modern.

It had everything you could possibly need & all with a beautiful view too. Lovely beach & plenty of nice walks. We had a welcome pack which was much appreciated & Jane & Darren were fantastic giving us lots of information about the local area & places that were dog friendly that we could visit. Our two Airedales Archie & Stanley had a brilliant time here & loved their adventures on the beach. We would love to return soon. Thankyou for a fabulous holiday.

We really appreciated the welcome pack. The apartment is immaculate with great views of Blyth beach. Spotlessly clean and excellently equipped, it was a great base for exploring the North East. Would highly recommend, we had a fantastic stay!

Wow an amazing holiday home with every comfort.

The view never gets boring, watching the sea and surfers. Ideal location, with handy supermarket , Chippy ice creams, two cafes and wonderful sandy beaches. Jane left a basket of essentials and a special treat in the fridge, a peach melba from Greg's as I had mentioned how you couldn't get them in the south, very thoughtful. Certainly will be coming back .

! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and full of natural light from the balcony doors and window. The view across the bandstand park, beach and sea kept us entertained while we ate our meals by the window. An evening walk along the beach just a step away. We explored the surrounding area from Amble down to Tynemouth, if you are a Vera fan then you may recognise some of the locations used in the series. We did!! Thank you so much, Jane. The apartment was spotlessly clean, had everything you could possible need for your stay and is perfectly located for visiting all along the beautiful Northumberland coast. We will have no hesitation in booking this place again and will look forward to returning.

We had a great stay, the flat has been furnished and decorated to a high standard and it was so well equipped.

We loved our stay, great base with the beach, a park, restaurant and cafe all in walking distance. We’ll definitely be back!

This would have to be the cleanest holiday place we have ever stayed in.

Jane the owner was so fantastic, she even texted us the directions of the apartment which is unbelievable. So welcoming, she even asked us, if we needed a hand with our bags, which was so nice. This was our second visit to Sandy Corner in Blyth.

What a great find it is. The property is very comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean and views of the sea to die for. Jane is a great host and thinks of everything you need on a visit away from home. She even includes a very generous welcome pack of all food essentials. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. We intend to return very soon. Thank you Jane, we are looking forward to our next visit.

Gorgeous view over bandstand and beach. Lots of info provided for places to see and places to eat. Cleanliness is excellent and the host is very friendly and informative. It was our second stay and we will be back again!

Absolutely fantastic one of the best holiday let’s we have been to there was nothing Jane hadn’t thought of a lovely welcome pack when we arrived so we’ll organised so clean and cosy just like being at home the beach across the road was great for our four legged friends they loved it on the beach would definitely recommend this holiday let and hopefully will be going back soon thank you Jane for a lovely stay

Watching the passing Gannets dive for fish to the spacious , clean , well equipped and oh so comfortable apartment from first opening the door to returning the key we had a memorable, relaxing week . The beach is tropical and a few steps away . Can I just say a big thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful apartment

I have learned, over the years not to expect things which are not stated or described.

There doesn't seem to be any mention in the description of a washing machine but there is a wonderful washing machine along with some washing capsules and softener. There was a very generous gift of items to start off our stay when we arrived. It was most convenient, comfortable and made our holiday very enjoyable. Thank you!

Fantastic apartment, clean and tidy, everything you could want.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Communication was great. Absolutely perfect location overlooking the park, beach and out to sea, pictures don't really do it justice. We were lucky to see dolphins swimming in the bay, great base to walk from straight onto the prom and beach.

An immaculate apartment, with great views of the entrance to Blyth Harbour.

Jane couldn't have been any more welcoming. Would happily go back again. The ability to open the upstairs doors to the outside, made for a pleasant atmosphere.

Perfect little spot with coffe/icecream/pubs near by.

Beach amazing with viewings of dolphins and seals, especially at dusk when the mackerel are around. Host lovely and very accomodating. Just perfect. We will be back :)

This is one of the Best Holiday Homes I have stayed in and the view from the Living room window is perfect for me as I was visiting my Home town and as the view is of the Beach and Dunes it brings back a lot of memorys Plus at the time I was there it was very quiet.

And the host has got everything you would need for your stay plus she was so kind to put a welcome package and nice card to welcome you well done to the owner for that. And I hope to be back to this little Gem soon Thanks again for everything

Sandy Corner is clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

There is a lovely sea view.. Jane, the owner, is friendly and helpful. an all round lovely stay.

There is nothing to fault this apartment.

On arrival, Jane our host, was there to meet us and make us welcome. There was even a welcome tray. It was light, airy, spotless and comfy. Everything you might need was there, home from home! The location was superb, with a panoramic view of the seafront from the windows. We would !00% recommend this property to anybody interested in visiting this area.

When we arrived at the apartment there was a lovely welcome pack waiting, The apartment was amazing, there was nothing wanting, the owner made sure that we were happy by supplying everything we needed and more.

The view was amazing, and considering it was December, there was always things to do and see. Plenty of beautiful places to eat too. Overall, it was a great week but the apartment was the crowning glory, we’ll be back next year.

A wonderful location and super nice host who provided everything we needed

Lovely location just minutes from the beach.

The apartment was perfect, very clean and the best equipped we have stayed at ever. Everything we needed to cook, fantastic bedding, great smart TV and super comfy sofa. All topped off by a great host who also left a very generous welcome pack. As for places to visit. The coffee, fish and chip and ice cream parlour is just a few mins walk away and we ate at caboose which is a brisk 25mins walk away. Whitely Bay, seaton and many other coastal towns are just mins in the car. Would happily recommend and stay again.

On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the property owner, who had generously provided us with a selection of food items (milk, bread, butter, biscuits, corn flakes and a jar of home-made jam).

Also provided in the flat were numerous local information leaflets relating to public transport, restaurants, entertainment and places of interest, etc. The modern, well-equipped accommodation is in immaculate order and ideally situated on the sea front for exploring the Northumberland coast.

The apartment is well placed for exploring the area and enjoys wonderful sea views.

It was very comfortable, especially the beds. There was a generous welcome pack, including cereals and chocolate biscuits. Overall a really nice apartment with great facilities.

This was a lovely base for all of the activities that we had planned the owner was great and on hand if needed.

Jane was lovely and met you there to show you round. The views are stunning, every day the view was different? It was so easy to get around the coast from there, can highly recommend the chippy which was a couple of minutes walk as well a fab stay and would most definitely go back

The apartment was spotless, has everything you need and comes with its own parking space. The view from the apartment is superb and the welcome pack provided was much appreciated. The apartment is ideally situated to explore the area, and if you fancy a more lazy day, the local beach is very nice. I would certainly recommend this apartment.

Had a great stay in Blyth.

The flat was was very comfortable and the views of the coast impressive. We found it a good location from which to explore Northumbria.

The apartment we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the little touches made by the host, like providing all the essentials for us arriving and especially having easter eggs for our boys was so lovely.

We have stayed in places all over the North East but honestly never seen a place as clean and welcoming as this apartment. 100% will recommend to everyone and will definitely be staying here again .

We loved the flat it has everything you could wish for with amazing views, The hosts are lovely & left us some items for breakfast which was a nice touch, the only down side is Blyth town centre is very disappointing but we really liked Whitley Bay & Morpeth, It is also lovely to walk along the beach to Seaton Sluice.
