Evergreen Lodge, a superbly appointed, south-facing timber lodge is set in a prime location on Felmoor Holiday Park, Northumberland.
Enveloped in tranquil woodland and greenery, Evergreen Lodge is idyllically positioned for a rural retreat, whilst benefitting from a range of on-site facilities.
Take advantage of the off-road parking provided alongside this lovely dwelling before unloading your bags and stepping into the fabulous open-plan living space, flooded with natural light, welcomed in through the south facing glass doors.
Kick off your shoes and unwind with a cup of tea in front of the TV following an action-packed day whilst the designated chef prepares a heart-warming meal for the group in the fully-equipped kitchen, tucked away at the rear of the room; gather with your loved ones at the dining table that takes centre stage in this sociable space.
Venture through the glass doors and take your celebrations outdoors with a leisurely seat on the veranda, backed by the stunning scenery of the peaceful woodland and well-kept gardens that surround the holiday home, or make use of the large lawn.
As the evening draws to a close, head back indoors to prepare for bed with a rejuvenating rinse in the contemporary family bathroom, stylishly tiled throughout, before retiring for the evening to one of the three thoughtfully laid out bedrooms, all with TVs, and with the choice between a double, benefiting from its own en-suite shower room, a twin and an intimate double, ideal for a solace escape from the excitement.

Very nice Lodge, used as a base for the surrounding area to visit, found some lovely restaurants nearby so didn't really have a use for the kitchen equipment, but it looks very good.
The weather wasn't great but we enjoyed our visit, we will be looking at coming back again.

A lovely holiday home.
Very comfortable beds with plenty of towels. Everywhere was spotless not a cobweb in sight. The garden was well maintained and great for spotting wildlife. The welcome pack was outstanding with loads of essentials and goodies. Hopefully we will visit again. Lots to do in the area and a wonderful small zoo 1 mile down the road. Thank you for having us.

It would have been nice to have had the garden maintained Plus the ceiling in the main bedroom had signs of mould above the window .
Some signs of damp showing up on other parts of the ceilings in the living area .
Hi Iain. Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the outside area. Unfortunately the maintenance of the garden is the responsibility of the park. They are usually on top of things, particularly over summer when everything grows so quickly. We will raise this with them immediately. Sorry to hear about the signs of mould you found in the bedroom and signs of damp. We will ask cleaning team to rectify this asap. We hope you did manage to enjoy all of the other aspects of staying in Evergreen Lodge which our customers usually appreciate (mentioned in previous reviews). Update - reply from the park manager (12/7/26) below. I agree that the grass has not been maintained as well as it normally is, however we have been short staffed of late, I can confirm that a new employee will be starting with us next Monday and we should start to see the grass and strimming being cut back to a regular schedule, both parks were cut in the last week. When the new employee starts we will get back into the schedule of cutting both parks every 9 – 10 days.

Evergreen Lodge is a perfect place to stay to experience all that Northumberland has to offer.
The outside space is pretty, lots of garden visitors, rabbits, deer, ducks. The raised veranda with a little gate, keeps the dogs in & animals safe. Place for wet shoes & hangers for coats/towels if wet. Good secure off road parking, not far to carry your cases. Inside the lodge is bright light & spacious, with every possible thing you could need in the well equipped kitchen. There are games, books, dvds, take out leaflets, maps, binoculars, dog bowls, blankets, toys, nothing has been overlooked. The bedrooms are cosy, comfortable with lots of space for your belongings. A hairdryer is provided too. Lovely fluffy white towels & nice clean beddings. Firm mattress and decent pillows made sure we had a good nights sleep every night. The Lodge location is on Lakeside Drive, at the bottom of the Park, very quiet, no passing "traffic". We would definitely recommend a stay here & will do again ourselves when next visiting the area. Thank you for making our stay more than we hoped for, we even got amazing weather !

Set in lovely woodland setting. Brilliant arrival hamper. Lots of equipment supplied so good for eating in the lodge. Masses of games and jigsaws. Smart tv so if not going out, lots to do inside. Owners attentive and helpful. Site needs better signage to find your lodge but very quiet and well maintained. Have booked to return.

Fabulous break in Northumberland- Evergreen Lodge is in a superb location, had everything we wanted with a great well stocked kitchen and was immaculately clean.

2nd time we have stayed in Evergreen Lodge at this time of year as we visit Alnwick Gardens and lildora Christmas lights and it never disappoints.
We arrived too a lovely well maintained Lodge nicely decorated for Christmas and a beautiful stocked welcome pack. The lodge is well equipped including bed linen and towels and free wi fi. We will definitely be back next year ....

A magical place inside and out Fabulous garden and views with an extended wood which was perfect for the dogs.
The accommodation was spacious comfortable and homely. Very well equipped kitchen with quality products. An amazing generous welcome hamper was full to the brim of lovely goodies.Would love to return.

I reported an issue with one of the bedroom doors not closing properly ( just a minor thing), for them to let the owners know, via Syke's WhatsApp message as instructed( couldn't get to speak to anyone by phone!) but received no reply until after our holiday a ended and even then it was just an automated message. This needs improvement, in my view. Otherwise , a fabulous stay in lovely surroundings! We hope to return one day.

Great, well equiped lodge with lovely dogs walks around the site.
Lots of wildlife to see - rabbits, deer, hedgehogs, squirels and birds. Must be aware of the hot tub company van arriving at nearby lodges as water supply drops off, noticed other lodges have put water tanks at the side(prosumably to counteract this). Great location for visiting allsorts of interesting places around that area.

Unfortunately the water supply does dip on change over days (Monday and Friday) when other lodges are emptying and refilling their hot tubs. Sadly it’s outside our control but the park are aware and are looking at ways to improve this.

- Definitely! We had an amazing stay at Evergreen Lodge situated in Felmoor Country Park. A lovely peaceful setting, surrounded by woodland, wildlife and a small lake. Ideally located for the many attractions Northumberland has to offer. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and the owners have catered for all ages, with books, games, CD's and DVD's The kitchen has everything you could need, and even the dog had her own cupboard, with bowls, bags and treats!!! Numerous seating areas outside to watch the various wildlife in the garden area.

Sadly our first impression of the property from the outside was one of neglect.
Outside furniture flithy, lawn uncut and more like a field, generally uncared for. This was our 2nd visit to Evergreen in 3 yrs and was apparent it had changed ownership. We did complain to the owner who did semi address the situation!! A few issues inside were mentioned on a note left for the owner. Won’t visit again despite good location and generous welcome pack.
Hi Chris. We are so sorry the lodge didn’t meet your expectations. As you can see from our feedback (from before and after your visit - the feedback below is from the guests who arrived the day you left) the vast majority of our guests love what we have to offer. Sadly your visit did coincide with a particularly long period of dry weather. This along with the woodland setting did make it difficult to keep the outside area dust free. You made us aware of this on Friday evening when you arrived and we resolved it to your satisfaction first thing on Saturday morning (as per our telephone conversation). The maintenance of the lawns is done by the park and outside our control but we have raised your concerns with them to try and ensure this doesn’t happen again. Once again apologies.

Lovely lodge in excellent condition in natural setting.
Swans ,ducks rabbit deer pheasant all seen around park. Comfy bed. Very generous welcome pack. We did not have children or dogs with us but there was lots of things supplied if needed. Obviously it's just start of good weather, so outside seating decking ,toys etc were very dusty with lots of cobwebs that need a good clean but once this is attended to it would be perfect. Just off A1 made it perfect for visiting castles villages etc. Our last night we enjoyed a lovely meal in Amble Italian restaurant. We only had breakfast in lodge & ate out every day at the many quaint tea rooms & other food establishments.

Fantastic lodge in great setting for a family of 5 and dog.
Facilities within the accommodation were great and plenty of space. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise and a great touch. Location was perfect for exploring the area with some amazing beaches and towns to explore within an hour away in every direction. Would highly recommended.

We love Northumberland and love this property, it’s the standard by which all properties should aim for.
Evergreen is genuine 5 star plus, the location, the cleanliness, the homely feel and level of provisions are exemplary. This is not just any old rental, the owners clearly value your stay and genuinely want to facilitate you having a fabulous holiday, from the welcome pack (huge!) and welcoming text, to anything you could possibly need, you’re very, very looked after. The location is a nature lovers dream, peaceful, private and full of wildlife (binoculars provided). We’ve experienced many lodges, never one like this though, this is truly a stunning home in an envious location and first class service. If you’re visiting Northumberland and self catering, stop searching, Evergreen Lodge ticks every single box. 5* Plus

This was our second visit to Evergreen and we were a little concerned about the suitability of the lodge because we were arriving with a larger party of 5 adults and 2 dogs.
No worries! The holiday was every bit as good as last time,the lodge was spotless and the welcome pack superb.We had four very frosty mornings but the lodge remained warm and cosy,the central heating was very quick to heat the lodge and was easy to use. Our two dogs love the place and were well catered for with treats and plenty of toys. All in all it was a good break in a great lodge with a good location

Just stayed in the Evergreen Lodge for 4 days and it's lovely.
The lodge was immaculate inside and had evey provision supplied, along with lovely welcome pack, and Christmas decorations up. We took our 6 year old granddaughter with us and we took a few board games with us however, there was more than enough board games, colouring pens and books along with Nintendo Switch. We fully enjoyed our stay and will hopefully look at booking again.

Lovely lodge, comfy beds and everything you need from cooking to washing up is well equipped.
Looks onto woodlands and you get to see the rabbits and squirrels close up. Lots to do if you like board games or play the Wii U. The only thing I can complain about is the welcome pack, after seeing the pictures and other peoples review of it. All we got was the coffee, sugar sachets and coffee pods.

Second time at this property the new owners are keeping up the standards that we experienced on our first visit.

Evergreen Lodge was fantastic, all needs are thought of - comfy beds, lovely bedding, fully equiped kitchen, good parking and a very nice welcome package.
The only downer (which the owners can do nothing about) is the 14 harsh speed bumps on the site and the water supply when other lodges are having their hot tubs refilled.

Fantastic week away in this fabulous lodge, perfectly situated to explore Northumberland.
The lodge was exceptionally well equipped and the owners had thought of everything, from kitchen gadgets to hairdryers, the selection of games and DVD’s for all was brilliant, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, having a garden was a bonus, watching the wildlife while sitting at one of several seating areas was lovely. The welcome pack filled with treats and a few essentials was a lovely little extra, we would highly recommend !

I took my daughter and three grandchildren away for a short break and we had a lovely time!
From the easy to follow directions, to the lovely welcome package in the beautiful lodge that was like a home from home. Very thoughtful decor and lots of useful little messages. The information book was very useful too. The children enjoyed watering the plants and made good use of the bats and balls in the beautiful garden area. We enjoyed walking to the lakes and had a lovely meal in the bar on the site. Maybe a little shop with some essentials like dishwasher tablets and bin bags etc might have been useful on the site? Maybe next to or part of the bar? But we had an excellent stay and will definitely be back!

The lodge was perfect,in a great position set back from the road in leafy surroundings.
It was in immaculate condition and spotless and the welcome pack was a real surprise,it was more like a Harrods hamper.Our dogs were very happy with their cupboard of goodies and overall the break was excellent,the Lodge being a large part of our enjoyment.Would I book again? Certainly!

We have tried to make the welcome packs a key feature so that all our guests feel very welcome and appreciated when they stay with us. We are so lucky it is in such a beautiful peaceful spot. Lodge beautiful, everything you would need. Like a home from home. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Loved the wildlife from ducks , swans rabbits to deer. Very pleasant. Ideal place to visit other areas of interest. e.g. Druridge bay park and beach, Seahouses, Amble And Bamburgh . We visited the Zoo 3mins drive from the Lodge , would definitely recommend a visit. Weather wasn't very good but we made the most of our break. Gracie our Golden Retriever loved sitting on the decking . Hope to visit again Thank-you again. X

Fabulous holiday at Evergreen Lodge.
Spotless clean, comfortable living area with views out onto the lawn and woodland area where there is an abundance of wildlife to watch. Look out for the hare! We were greeted with a huge welcome pack which was a lovely surprise, lots of goodies and a bottle of fizz! Kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook, which we did on a couple of nights. Wonderful lodge, wonderful site. We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 Evergreen Lodge!

Lovely holiday home with a fabulous welcome pack.
Well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen including toddler bowls, cutlery and an assortment of electrical appliances including an air fryer and coffee machine. The only problem we encountered was occasionally the showers would fail to get warm, possibly due to low water pressure on site. It wasn't a problem only using one shower at a time however even with 5 of us in the group.

The location is good , pathway to property was slippery and bird mess all over the path , in the property there were dog hair still on furniture and carpets so I decided to vacuum the vacuum was full so and did not suck up so I cleaned it, and vacuumed up, the kettle was full of scale so I went to buy a new one , the back bedroom smells badly of damp, during the weekend there were no maintenance me on site so the bins became over full and bags of dog poo were left all over the grass at several bins, seems the site as detirated over the past year.
Hi Lee. Many thanks for your feedback. We are very disappointed and sorry to hear that your experience at our lodge was far from satisfactory. As you will see from previous feedback we have always sought to ensure our guests enjoy their stays with us. Please accept our sincere apologies. We did contact you twice by text at the start of your holiday and at the end. We would have appreciated it if you had let us know your concerns ASAP so that we could have acted immediately to try and rectify things. We are sorry to hear about the path. Whilst every effort is made to keep it clean, we are situated on a wooded country park. There are lots of geese and swans which live on the lake (and other wildlife), close to the lodge. They regularly wander around the park and quite often through our garden. Unfortunately they can poo at any point, after cleaning, during your stay etc. Whilst we are a pet friendly lodge, the pet hair on carpets and furniture as described by you is unacceptable. We have taken this up with our cleaning team to ensure this doesn’t happen again. The same with the vacuum which shouldn’t have been left full and should have been put away. We are located in a hard water area so limescale is a constant battle but the kettle should have been clean on arrival. We were in the lodge the day after you left but didn’t smell any damp. We will continue to make our usual inspections. Finally the general upkeep of the park. This again is very disappointing and we will be feeding this back to the park manager. Once again please accept our sincere apologies. Our business relies solely on our guests enjoying their stay and providing us with great feedback so we are very disappointed we haven’t met your expectations this time. All the best.
Beautiful lodge in a lovely location.
We immediately felt at home, as did our two dogs. It is like a country cottage inside, and the owners have provided everything you can think of, plus lots more. Everyone mentions the welcome basket- it is amazing. Dogs quickly found the doggy treat cupboard, a lovely touch. The park itself is beautiful. We enjoyed seeing loads of wildlife, including deer, rabbits, hedgehogs, squirrels, heron and of course, the water fowl. Slightly disappointed in the Crazy Horse pub - no food being served, early closing or just not opening at all. However, we quickly found the Timeout Tavern in the neighbouring park. Very friendly welcome and just a five minute walk from the lodge. Brilliant holiday. We hope to visit again.

Very tastefully decorated with lots of beautiful ornaments. I loved sitting on the decking watching all the wildlife especially the squirrels! My dogs loved their little treat cupboard in the kitchen which was a lovely touch. Also the welcome pack was amazing and very generous, we enjoyed the fizz and all the goodies in there

This was our second visit to Evergreen Lodge and once again every thing was perfect The lodge is spotlessly clean and has every thing you need , and more, for a fantastic stay Our grandson loved playing in the lodge’s own wooded garden and the welcome pack was like a full on christmas hamper

Absolutely amazing welcome pack!!! Kids and adults loved the games and stuff that were in the cabin too. Only way this cabin could be made any better would be a hot tub. But honestly 10/10 did us perfect for what we needed.

this was a lovely lodge in a quiet setting.
Large garden for the dogs and a dog walk on site. The owners had left a superb welcome pack which was very welcome. The lodge was clean and very well equiped, and included a special cupboard full of doggy things.

Spotless, comfortable, in a lovely location with everything and more you could ever want or need for your stay plus a welcome pack with all sorts of goodies in it. We had a lovely time travelling around and would certainly come back again in a heartbeat.

It's a nice lodge situated on a nice park very relaxing on site pub doing decent meals at a decent price what more do you need totally well equipped with kitchen utensils pans etc and a nice welcome pack

Lovely home from home property.
Everything you could need. Great garden with plenty of seating areas, very relaxing and quite private. The outdoor games were a great idea. Great base for the surrounding areas, on site pub restaurant very handy if you dont want to go far, lovely food and a games room. Would definitely recommend.

This cottage was a home from home everything that you required was there.

The lodge is beautifully kitted out, very comfortable, they seem to have thought of everything to make your holiday perfect, all really good quality. Fabulous welcome pack on arrival. The Garden & outside sitting area’s very comfortable, all you can hear are birds singing, it’s just so peaceful.

Clean, comfortable, and in a lovely spot. We enjoyed the garden and wildlife - rabbits squirrels geese goslings many birds too.

Wow Wow Wow What a fabulous place to stay Evergreen is The lodge is exactly as it looks on the photos and is spotlessly clean with every amenity you would need for your stay and more The lodge is on a quiet spot on the site and backs onto a little wooded area that our 4 year old grandson loved Carol is a fantastic host giving us a little welcome call to ensure we arrived ok and to see if we required any assistance with anything The welcome pack was amazing and very appreciated Great places to visit and eat in the area the Northumberland Arms and Running Fox in Felton ( 5 mins in car) were a delight with fantastic food Also spent a couple of nights in the on-site bar which sold great pizzas We can’t wait to return to Evergreen such a lovely relaxing place Steve & Kath
An outstanding holiday lodge.
So clean and comfortable you do not want to go home. Everything has been provided that you will need by these very thoughtful owners. In a lovely location with wildlife in the garden. A pub and restaurant on the site is very handy. The best lodge we have stayed in. Will be sure to come back here again.
Wow what a place this is.
Absolutely immaculate and the attention to detail is second to none. Plenty of room & all the features that you need. The welcome pack & flowers, especially milk, were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The guest information folder was really helpful too. We felt at home instantly and had a courtesy welcoming phone call from Carol after we had arrived to introduce herself - nice touch. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. A lovely property nicely situated on the camp.
Very well furnished with everything you need for a stay. A really nice welcome pack upon arrival was thoughtful and appreciated. We would definitely stay here again if available on our next visit to the area.
We met the owner on the morning that we left and thanked them for everything and told them how much we had enjoyed the stay.
By far the best self catering property we have stayed in, beautifully equipped to a high standard, lovely location and garden.
A very high quality welcoming gift basket too, our little dog Coco really enjoyed herself as did we.
Fabulous clean comfortable lodge.
Facility has much needed WiFi and is well equipped in the kitchen. Welcome pack second to none. Carol and Ian very welcoming. Lovely area with bar/restaurant on site too. Would have given 5 stars but the TV in the on-suite bedroom doesn't work (my second stay in this lodge, as I was here a year ago and this was the same first time round). Personally I would remove this TV then people wont get disappointed when it doesn't pick up the signal. TVs in the other rooms do work, freeview only.
Had a wonderful time the lodge was even better than the pictures,so comfortable fantastic welcome pack so unexpected even milk in the fridge which was so thoughtful.

Evergreen lodge was great, it was in a lovely spot on the holiday park not far from a lake and near to a good restuarant on site.
The lodge was well equipped and spotless. The owners left some essential items and a lovely welcome gift which was a nice surprise. It is in a good area for travelling around the beautiful Northumberland countryside which has some great places to visit, including beaches and the lovely Kielder forest and lake. We would certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

After a disaster start when arriving at Jalan end to find the shower glass was shattered and a notice telling us to use the one other bathroom .
We complained and Sykes were able to move us to this property . We were met there by the owners who had at short notice got it ready for us . They gave us a very warm welcome and could not have been more helpful , so thank you to them and also Sykes who sorted it out for us . The Chalet was perfect and the woodland at the rear was a real bonus , we saw pheasants rabbits squirells doves and geese , all in all a perfect place to stay and I heartily recommend it
This was a lovely place to have a short break accommodation perfect outside perfect for relaxing and watching all kinds of birds in garden will definitely be back

We had a fantastic weekend stay from the 17 to the 19th of December 2021 at Evergreen Lodge on the Fellmoor Park.
Carol and Ian made us feel very welcome they provided us with a beautiful welcome pack which was a lovely gesture. The Lodge had everything you needed. It was spotless and beds were so comfortable and Lodge was so cosy and lovely and warm. Carol and Ian went out of there way to make sure everything was perfect for us nothing was any bother to them. We carnt wait wait to return again next year. Thank you Carol and Ian for all your kindness and making us feel very welcome.
