Goldfinch is a well presented 3 bedroom property over two floors. It is located in the stunning Hamlet of Lucker, and is part of a fabulous collection of properties at Lucker Hall Steading. Lucker is just 3 miles from Bamburgh and the wonderful Northumberland Coast and under 2 miles from the A1, making getting around Northumberland and visiting all the attractions easy. Lucker is a picturesque hamlet which has an established Pub.
ACCOMMODATION
GROUND FLOOR Living room with open fire, flat screen TV/DVD, iPod docking station, CD player and garden access. Kitchen/dining room with electric oven and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Separate WC and basin.
FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with king size bed and en suite shower, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC and basin.
OTHER FACILITIES Garden area with picnic bench and BBQ. Oil central heating. All electricity, starter fuel for fire, bed linen and towels included in rent. Parking for 3 cars, charging strictly not allowed. Books and games provided. 2 dogs welcome, £30 per dog per stay. Can be booked with other Lucker Hall Steading properties for up to 24 people. Hot tub available to hire 3 nights £150, 4 nights £180 and 6 nights £220.
Beau Monde Leisure Spa Free one hour swim or gym passes up to the occupancy of the cottage. Beau Monde also has a beauty and hair salon all cottage guests receive 5% discount on hair and beauty treatments on production of their key fobs (excluding products).

What guests are saying
The locks on both doors could do with improving / replacing as the property didn’t feel very secure.
We do not think the French doors locked at all (except for the bottom pin) so that is worth looking at. We loved our stay. The only other things to note were that the high chair was very dirty when we arrived which was a shame as the standard of cleanliness otherwise was excellent. Also if you want to cater better to families with young children it could do with a guard for the wood burner, a stair gate (good for dogs too) and perhaps a step for the bathrooms.
Lovely property, warm and cosy in an excellent location for a base to explore Northumberland.
Very handy for the many beautiful beaches in the area but also get-away-from-it-all rural areas such as Rothbury and the Cheviots. Goldfinch had a lovely aspect overlooking the church, plenty of parking with the very welcoming Apple Inn literally on our doorstep.
