“We stayed many years ago when the properties were called Percy and Claxton owned by the Duke of Northumberland Estate, it was lovely then as it is now.”
Very comfortable and spacious, ideal when you have dogs downstairs to clean away paw prints. Maintenance came straight away to fix a broken loo seat found on arrival. They hadn't however got the message about ordering a highchair and cot, but they were brought over immediately. The welcome pack was great, local produce. We had Sunday lunch at the Apple Inn, it was poor quality for the price, which was a shame, actually the same price as Whittling House in Alnmouth which is fantastic. The spa was lovely, especially the full body massage.
