“The house was very clean (although the leather sofas could do with a wipe down) as were the pristine, good quality bedding and towels.”
A hand towel for the kitchen would have ben useful.
The great welcome pack included a bottle of wine and high end goodies.
Unusually for a holiday let there were no staples like foil, cling film or oil. It would have been useful to know this beforehand so we could have brought our own.
Only six mugs and not many spoons so mainly washed up by hand rather than use the small dishwasher.
No board games or books in the property so, again, it would have been nice to know beforehand.

Wood burning fire was lovely and it was great that it was already made up so we could just light it on arrival.
Beds and pillows comfortable, lots of storage in both bedrooms.
Property location is excellent for visiting our favourite locations, e.g. Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell, Alnwick. Lovely quiet area, even though most of Lucker seems to be holiday lets it’s not noisy.
Nice to have the Apple Inn so close for a drink but the White Swan in nearby Warrenford far exceeded the quality of food and was cheaper.
All in all a very good property.
