The property was perfect for us, plenty of space for our 4 month old lab’s crate in the kitchen/living area.

Our only negative comment, which is no fault of the owners, is that the foot paths for walks from the property were too overgrown to use so we had to go out in the car every time. We looked on the map prior to booking and there appeared to be many walks in the area.

The cottage is in a great location for visiting villages in and around Northumberland.

Lucker its self seems to be a “holiday village” with lots of different accommodations. The house itself had en-suite facilities for each bedroom which was fantastic, however the shower units are tiny and not suitable for people who have mobility issues. The mattresses are of poor quality and you can feel the slats. The kitchen is equipped to a very basic standard.. definitely no frills! There is a welcome pack with coffee and a few tea bags with a few packets of sugar and some lovely biscuits. I have never rented a cottage where the basics weren’t provided.. salt, pepper, sugar ect. There a great pub with good food round the corner!!

We were informed late on Friday there was a problem with our booking for next day in Northumbria.

Only after lots of phone calls on late Friday and up to 10.30 on the Saturday did this get resolved so we were very concerned with zero explanation why there was any problem. We were eventually allocated a different cottage which was not comfortable and we left early on Wednesday when our booking departure was scheduled for Saturday March 16. We are in our late 70’s but the lounge seating was terrible and we had to sit on the dining chairs constantly and this was too much. There was also a constant exhaust fume smell in the lounge which was sickly. The holiday was basically is disaster

Lovely purpose built holiday cottage with modern en-suite facilities and very high quality of decor and equipment.

The property was very clean and well equipped and en suite in all the bedrooms was a great bonus.

Lovely cottage, decoration to high standard, kitchen facilities all good.

Great to be able to take the dogs as it's often hard to find nice properties that allow dogs.

Perfect for families or groups of friends. Beds were comfortable and linen good quality. High quality furnishings maintained to a good standard. Pub and Pizzeria in the village and only a couple miles to Banburgh for shops and more eateries. Would recommend.

Great property in a lovely location, nice walks through the static home park and good food in the Apple Core and Apple inn.

Everything you could possibly want in a holiday let. Enjoyed a superb holiday with my son and daughter in law and our two grand-daughters and our two little dogs. Would definitely come back again.
