Roe Deer is a beautifully finished ground floor property located in the quiet village of Lucker. This property has been specially designed for self catering holiday makers and comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, using 3 bedrooms all en suite. It benefits from being set in peaceful surroundings, the local pub is just a short walk away, and Bamburgh's magnificent castle, pubs, restaurants and sandy beach are just a 3 mile drive away. Lucker is a picturesque hamlet which has an established Pub The Apple Inn.
ACCOMMODATION
GROUND FLOOR Spacious open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. Living room large open with dining area, large TV and log burning stove. Kitchen area with gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom 1 with king size bed, TV, en suite shower room.
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 2 with king size bed, TV, en suite with shower over bath, WC and basin. Bedroom 3 with twin beds, TV, en suite shower, WC and basin.
OTHER FACILITIES Outdoor seating area with BBQ, patio heater and hot tub. Central heating. All power, bed linen and towels included in rent. Private parking for 2 cars charging strictly not allowed. . Outdoor dog enclosure and wash hose. Please be aware the property is next to a working farm. Roe Deer is near Red Fox (Sleeps 12 in total).

I have stayed at several stablewood cottages and they never disappoint!
The area is perfect, tranquil, clean, and close to many Northumberland landmarks and beaches. The property itself is ideal, cosy, clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and dog friendly. The nearby Apple Inn is a wonderful pub to relax and dine in with great staff and the food is amazing! I have to give a shout out to all the staff at Stablewood Cottages, the management team, maintenance, cleaners, and the Apple Inn staff who are all extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend Stablewood Cottages and will be back again soon. Thanks for another great stay.
We found the property clean and spacious and in a great location.
The hot tub was lovely. The free swim at the spa was really good & we paid to go again. The welcome pack , hand soap & toilet rolls was appreciated. We enjoyed our stay but had a few issues. The beds were not comfortable & even the children complained they could feel the springs. The pillows were so thin you couldn’t sit up in the bed without your head falling through the slated headboard. The oven had no instructions but the maintenance man provided them quickly, however the temperature numbers had worn out so we had to guess. He did take photos to report it. We also had an issue with hot water tap in the bedroom with the bath. It wouldn’t turn off correctly . The maintenance man advised it needed a plumber & we couldn’t use it. No one came during our stay. Only one key was provided for the property, 2 would have been helpful with a party of 6. Hopefully these issues will get sorted as it’s a lovely property.
Very cheap cutlery and thin mattresses that you could feel the springs through.
Heating system needs looking into, as the boiler kept firing up throughout the night, even with thermostat turned down. There was no information about adjusting the heating apart from a sign saying don't change anything.
