We had an 89 year old guest with us so bear that in mind.
The front door key was so hard to turn we thought it would snap each time we used it, the kettle lid was broken and came off while pouring water, the oven was too dirty to use, one room door was jammed by the carpet so could not open past a quarter, there was food down the sofa cushions, the windows were dirty, the bathroom pop up was broken, the bathroom tap was worn so it was hard to turn the shower leaked from hose,
Oh and the water and power went off on Thursday at about 5am and was off until about 1pm so that was great
All in all the cabin looked good hot tub was good but the place is a bit tired and in need of a bit refurbishment and a good clean.

Thank you for your comments. We are surprised bearing in mind the excellent feedback that we have from previous, recent guests.
The kettle is not broken, but the lid does need to be replaced with the arrows lining up for the internal filter.
The windows are cleaned every change over. The cabin is in the middle of a wooded area, which is part of its charm, the pine tree pollen does settle on the cabin and the exterior of the windows, however they are cleaned weekly.
We will check the stiff door key, but have had no previous issues. We stayed there ourselves very recently and the key was working fine.
A brand new carpet has just been laid. We will check the door movement and rectify this if there is an issue.
There is an on site management team to look after the properly. I believe that Mel saw you most days and none of these issues were mentioned.
The number is also listed in the welcome pack, but no contact was made during your stay.
As you can see from past reviews, the cleanliness of the cabin has been praised.
The water on site is powered by electric. I understand that there was a national grid power cut in all of the surrounding area, effecting the whole site and nearby towns including Felton. Unfortunately, this is out of our control.
As the owners, we check the cabin regularly and the cleaners always do a great job. We will of course let them know of your comments though.
