Beach Cove View is an elegantly-styled, mid-terrace sea-front cottage situated within the bustling town of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.
This superb retreat has been designed to offer a relaxing break for a family looking to explore the Northumberland coast and all of the wonderful attractions this area has to offer.
After taking in the breath-taking coastal views and catching a glimpse of the town’s famous Couple Statue, be welcomed into the spacious sitting/dining room, where you can look forward to spending relaxing evenings in with your loved ones.
Choose to curl up in front of the gas fire and select your favourite film on the TV with Sky Q or enjoy panoramic views of the sea, or gather your loved ones around the formal dining table to share your holiday stories over a well-deserved bottle of wine.
Beyond here is the contemporary kitchen which houses all the essentials to cater for yourself during a week-long stay, including a washing machine and a dishwasher for your convenience.
As the evening draws to a close, venture up the staircase to find three bedrooms, comprising two double bedrooms and a single bedroom.
Each bedroom has been beautifully arranged with carefully selected furnishings, a neutral colour palette and a TV, ensuring a tranquil stay for the whole family.
Also on this floor is a well-presented shower room, with a brushed brass shower and charming nautical touches to quietly reflect the coastal surroundings.
To the outside of the cottage, step out onto the courtyard area, where you can pour yourself a refreshing drink before enjoying a relaxing soak within the bubbling hot tub.
A leisurely stroll will bring you to the centre of town, where you will be delighted to find a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
During the summer months, soak up the sun at the sandy beach or head to the golf course which is nestled just yards away from the sea.
Get up early to catch a glimpse of the dolphins that frequent Newbiggin Bay.
For those feeling active, venture a little further afield to Hadrian's Wall or to Alnwick Castle to discover Northumberland’s interesting history.

The view is amazing and house is lovely and light.
Great location and would love to return. The main disappointment for us was the quality of the mattresses and have already suggested to the owner they could do with new ones as my husband and I kept rolling together, it sunk in the middle, hence poor sleep (my mum said same in her single bed too). I would have liked to have seen flowers in the tubs like next door (are in but all died), would have liked cushions on the outside seating. Also think important to keep hot tub as lovely and important part of my stay is a good hot tub.
Hi, thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you liked the house and the view. We are sorry you are disappointed about the mattresses, which left you with a poor sleep. Unfortunately there was a problem with the bed and not the mattress but this has now been rectified so thank you for pointing this out to us. The mattresses are fairly new and the main bedroom has a brand new one now as well. With regard to the garden, we have plans in place to have a makeover once the house is unoccupied for a decent length of time when the season is ending and it’s not so busy, as you can imagine this would cause too much disruption to guests. We realise this will benefit new guests but unfortunately is no consolation to yourselves. So sorry about that also. There are cushions for the seats which are in the downstairs cupboard under the stairs for guests to use so I’m sorry you didn’t find them during your stay. Thanks you for all other recommendations. Perfect home from home.
We stayed for 9nights with our doggie and had such a great stay. Location is brilliant for dog walking, he just loved the sea, also easy to get to the beautiful surrounding areas. Hot tub was a welcome addition at the end of the day. Welcome pack was appreciated. Thank you

Great location and ideal with the dogs. Fab house with hot tub right by the sea. Struggled with parking this year, would recommend opening up the front wall creating allocated parking space and have a fence further up the garden and creating a relaxing space to sit out in. Front garden looks untidy and lots of space wasted. Could have done with a nice recliner outside but love this place and will be back.

Newbiggin is a lovely little town
This accommodation was a true home from home.
The owner had thought of everything. They were very responsive when contacted and left a lovely gifts for us. The location was perfect right by the sea too. Sadly we had to cut the holiday short due to the snow but we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. I would definitely recommend and are thinking about returning next year or using one of their other accommodations. Thank you so much for making our holiday.
Beautiful property & spotlessly clean.
The living room was decorated for Christmas & the view from the window was lovely. Fantastic, spacious kitchen which was superbly equipped & the welcome pack was exceptional. Plenty of dog walking routes with the beach a stones throw from the front door. Would definitely come back here.

Beach Cove View is a very comfortable house in a beautiful location with stunning views of the bay.
It is an ideal house to explore what Northumberland has to offer, although if you want to stay put everything is available in Newbiggin for a chilled relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working, so we were disappointed we couldn’t use that.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (2adults and 2dogs).
We enjoyed the close proximity of the beach, the sight and sound of the sea. The amenities nearby were greatly appreciated with a good selection of dog friendly establishments. A good base to visit other attractions. Would definitely consider a return visit.
The house was lovely and had everything we needed.
It's in a lovely location right opposite the beach and just 5 minutes walk from the shops. We went in 2 cars and parking is available on the street and was easy to park both cars by the property. We had never been to Northumberland before but visited some lovely places all within an hours drive. The hot tub was a bonus. Maybe the beds could do with new mattresses as they have mattress toppers on top but still ok for a good night's sleep.
We had the best time such a lovely area great facilities so comfortable everything was well presented and looked in good order.
The view was amazing and we will definitely miss this little piece of heaven. Thankyou for the best weekend we will definitely be back!!

The cottage was so comfortable, clean and cosy and the view over the sea and the walk along the beach there was the icing on the cake. There's plenty to do within short drives that was perfect for me and my doggie - beaches, castles and country parks. There was also a lovely welcome pack. I wouldn't hesitate in returning if visiting the area again.

We were looking for a relaxing break close to a beach which was dog friendly and had a hot tub.
I can not believe just how much this property suited our requirements. We were so excited when we arrived, we couldn't have been any closer to the beach. The views from the front of the house were amazing. The house was much larger than expected and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach watching the sunrise. The area was so safe and everyone was so friendly. Shops, cafes and restaurants were all very good with lovely friendly staff. An absolute gem.
Beach Cove is a beautiful home from home, right on the seafront.
Owners were very good at communicating and answered any questions we had. The house was spotless and so comfortable. The only downside for us was that a dog was constantly barking throughout the night into the early hours of the morning. While I know the property owners can't help this, I do wish to leave an honest review of our time here. We went away for a week for some rest and recuperating however we have come home more exhausted than when we left. We couldn't work out where said dog was, or we would of approached the owners ourselves and asked them to be mindful to the other residents. Overall we had a fabulous week away on one of our favourite coasts and would definitely book in the future. The hot tub was a welcome treat and everything is there for your needs. Thank you again!
What a wonderful property, so clean, really comfortable and excellent facilities.
The view is just amazing over the sea, just the best thing laying in bed at night and listening to the sound of the sea. Good location for visiting various areas, Seahouses, Amble, Cresswell, Morpeth and Alnwick were some of the places we visited. My dog loved the beach which was approximately a minute away from the house, lovely walk along the promenade to Church Point too. Brilliant. Thank you for wonderful stay.

Ideal location. Wonderful views of the sea. House had everything we needed. Very clean, smelled lovely. Hot tub was a perfect end of day treat. Welcome pack was a very thoughtful bonus. And the new cafe/restaurant 50 yards from the house on the beach was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend a holiday here.
Wow we loved our time at the cottage, the views are amazing, the cleanliness 10/10 so important to me, from walking through the door we were more than happy it smelt so fresh.
Spacious, furnishings fab throughout, kitchen WOW! everything spotless, updated sofa looks fab. Photos need updated on Sykes for this. Upstairs again fresh, fab furnishings views to die for, son brought PlayStation happy with choice of TV’s in rooms, binoculars provided too, bathroom also spot on. Oh forgot hot tub also a hit clever use of space, we also spent time in garden as we had some sunshine also the BEACH is wonderful, we’ll definitely be back, I personally think don’t need mattress toppers on beds they were too hot & sweaty although bedding very clean & fresh, we loved our stay here

Great house, great area fantastic views
A great property.
Second one we have stayed in owned by the same people and both have been fabulous. Literally anything you could need kitchen wise is provided including tea towels and oven gloves. Lovely welcome hamper. Great size rooms, comfy beds. Board games and DVDs are a great addition for rainy days. Wonderful view. Never had a problem parking. I'm a local who moved away and would always recommend Northumberland to everyone for a visit.

We visited at October Half-Term (2023) and had an awesome time.
On arrival at the property we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack (the wine went down very well). The owners of the cottage have really thought of everything and catered for every need - with a TV in each bedroom (my son was very happy as he got to bring his X Box). The cottage was warm and cosy and the hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of each day (sometimes twice a day). Laying in bed on the morning listening and watching the waves was such a relaxing experience. You are close to so many things - Alnwick Castle / Gardens / Lillidorei and shopping in Newcastle. All in all a great week with lovely memories made and we will be back
A little gem in Newbiggin by the Sea !
A lovely cosy quiet retreat right on the sea-front. Ideally situated and a short breezy walk to the town amenities. The welcome pack was much appreciated ( especially the wine !) and the choice of delivery take-outs in the vicinity was a bonus, especially if you don’t want to do much cooking during your stay.If you do, a spacious modern well equipped kitchen is available. All in all, a great 4 day break that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed…….even through Storm Agnes !! Good value for money AND with great little hot tub in the backyard ! Recommended.

We have visited three times. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. A perfect holiday destination! The view from eh front window is simply stunning!
The settee could do with replacing gone very soft to sit on , don't know why the beds had matrass toppers on them , didn't need them they made the beds very high like me when you not very tall I nearly needed a step ladder to get in ,I still slept well once in , lovely house highly recommended staying there with the beach just across the road is a big bonus what a view beautiful

Just returned from a fantastic week at Beach Cove View.
Perfect location with amazing views. The property was spotless, the kitchen had everything you needed to make our holiday perfect. Spacious and comfortable, we even managed to cook a Sunday roast as we didn’t want to go out to eat all the time. The beds were super comfy too after a busy day exploring. And of course the hot tub was an extra bonus for us. We loved Beach Cove so much we’ve already booked again for next year . Only extra that could be added would be another loo but we soon got used to that

Enjoyed our stay here very much.
The setting is superb, from just chilling with the view from the front window to being able to gently stroll along the prom to the town. The house has everything you could ask for. The only issue we had was with the key safe. It's right on the ground as described in the property details. But as both my wife and I are in our seventies it was a struggle to get down and and see to decode it. It was even a greater struggle getting back up. We did laugh about it and I assume the neighbours had they been watching would have a laugh too. Please move it! As you can imagine the key never went back in till we left.
Would happily live there, very comfortable and very well equipped.
Only one small snag, the key safe is very low for those of us with dodgy knees! But other than that all good.
We've had such a lovely week at Beach Cove!
From the cosy furnishings to the added extra of a toasty hot tub to dip into after a breezy walk on the beach. The sunrise on a morning was a gorgeous view to wake up to. Also a biggie for me is comfort..and the duvet/pillows stopped me from getting out of bed most mornings. Thank you very much for the hamper (& milk!). Those little touches make all the difference. It is very well equipped and located. Very high standard of furnishings and decor and beautifully clean and tidy. It was wonderful to lie in bed and listen to the waves breaking on the beach below. Very helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at beach cove view 4 or 5 times we love how quiet it is and how close all the beaches are for our walks with our dog.
But sadly it looks like we won't be able to stay again as I have just looked for dates to book again and now it says no dogs allowed. But we will carry on visiting Newbiggin and find a new dog friendly holiday let.

Not suitable for older people not technically minded.
Key safe far too low down to reach and read. Couldn't operate the microwave Needs simple instructions not lengthy manuals, same with television. Stairs too steep, But loved the location and views and hot tub superb. Proximity to town good with excellent promenade walk. A downstairs loo would be an excellent addition.

All the rooms are impeccable and the ultra modern kitchen is so well equipped it just makes the holiday perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was fab.The location was amazing just 2 mins from the beach and the view's from all the front windows were stunning.The hot tub was an extra delight as was the thoughtful welcome pack.Newbiggin is a very friendly and clean town and the walks along the coast were spectacular.Loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return to this delightful gem.

Very well equipped and tastefully decorated! We had a slight issue with safety on the stairs and the very high step into the bathroom. I had a fall one night by missing the high step and had a very bruised forehead! That said the shower was amazing! A little rail at the top of the stairs would make the cottage a ten star establishment!

Beach Cove View was by a lovely, sandy beach, great for early morning dog walking. The sound of the sea lulled us to sleep every night. The hot tub was an extra bonus. All in all, idyllic!

However beds need new mattresses and the lounge needs new sofas as neither of these things were comfortable which let the house down.

The house was very clean, well equipped and very homely. The beach was a minute walk away and loved sitting outside to enjoy the fabulous view. Already looking at coming back.

Very clean, very comfortable, very well equipped and a fabulous location. Communication with the host was excellent and she was very helpful. I would love to use this cottage again but will be avoiding dealing with Sykes holidays again if I can.
Beach cove view was a lovely find.
Very comfortable, beach front with great view & so relaxing to hear the sea overnight. Great base to explore more of Northumberland or just to relax as everyone was so friendly. The local beach & others nearby were all clean & relatively quiet. We managed to see dolphins on more than one occasion. The two person hot tub was a perfect way to heat up after a dip in the sea. Finally, the owners communication throughout was excellent & I am confident if we had raised any issue it would have been addressed. Definitely on our return list for the future.

We had immediate access to the very clean, sandy beach which enabled a good walk each morning. Newbiggin is small but has everything needed and is a good stop off for many attractions in the area. Northumberland is a beautiful county, especially the long sandy beaches, and offers a variety of entertainment - castles, gardens, walks in the countryside and much more. We will certainly visit again.

Everything you need is there. Views from Windows are beautiful. Walks along the headland with the dog. Dogs allowed on beach near the cottage. A walk down a slope and you are on the beach. Promenade great for wheelchairs. Yes we loved it. So much that we booked again when we got home
The cottage was comfortable, clean, very well equipped, and spacious.
The hot tub was a bonus. The cottage is in a great position, just over a quiet road onto a sandy beach, and close enough to walk into town. I really enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves.
This was our second time staying in Beach Cove View and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again.
The views from the front room and front bedrooms are amazing. The welcome pack is a lovely touch and the hot tub was great after a day out to relax. We explored much of the northumberland area and would highly recommend the sunset cruise from Seahouses to the farne islands. The property is spacious, clean and well looked after with lots of little touches that make it feel like a home from home. The front garden was well used as was the two chairs in the dining area. The beds were very comfy and bedding provided was of high standard. The shower is powerful and kitchen was well stocked for all your needs. Would definitely recommend!
This was definitely the best holiday we have had as a family.
The house was wonderful with great facilities, just across the road from the beach and a hot tub to unwind in at the end of the day! It was so good that we have booked again for next year! The kitchen is first class, with a spacious fridge, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Three comfortable bedrooms, with the sound of the sea to send you off to sleep at night.
This house is absolutely stunning-everything is high quality and beautifully decorated especially for a house that accepts dogs.
It has pretty much everything you need in the kitchen and a lovely welcome pack from the owners.Nicola and Chris were very friendly and quick to sort out a problem we had with the hot tub.The location is lovely with a view of the sea and bay -right next to the dog friendly area of the beach, if you are lucky you get to see dolphins out in the sea too.Parking can be an issue because the beach is very popular but most of the time was able to park close to the house.We shall be recommending to all our friends but I think you need to get in quick to book this gem of a cottage as it was a star find .

Location, location, location!
I loved lying in bed and listening to the sea just across the road. The house was spotless, the beds were comfy, the shower hot and there was everything you needed. I really liked Newbiggin, people in the town were really friendly and the beach and promenade provided lovely walks. Hopefully will be back soon!

Stayed at this wonderful cottage for 1 week 27 Sep to 4 Oct 2019 my husband, myself and our little Westie dog, from the moment we entered through the door it felt like home.
The house was impeccably decorated and furnished throughout, and very comfortable, the views out of the front window were fantastic, unfortunately during the week we didn't spot any of the local Dolphins, however they were active in the bay. The welcome pack left for us was a lovely touch and came in very useful. I would recommend this property without hesitation, the only downsides for me personally was I felt the shower was a bit slippy and would benefit from the addition of a non slip mat, and also that our stay wasn't longer, would most definitely return.

Location was just perfect, with 3 young children the beech on the doorstep was great. Our weather was brilliant sunshine every day and hours spent at the rock pools.

The soft furnishings are throughout to a very high quality which can be sometimes lacking with some of the dog friendly holiday lets - not with this one. This house is beautifully presented. The owner supplied us with all the info we might need to help us get the most out of our visit and even kindly left us a welcome pack that was much appreciated. Newbiggin-by-the-sea is a fairly quiet seaside town with a feel of past times about it. The clean, white sandy beach is family friendly and perfect for a good old fashioned bucket

Right on the beach front and with everything you could possibly need home from home. The owners have impeccable taste and their attention to detail was second to none. We had a fabulous few days and will DEFINITELY be returning, soon hopefully! Thank you so much.

It is simply the best holiday property we have ever stayed in.
Boasting splendid quality furniture throughout we made use of the hot tub . Lovely panoramic view of the coast. If you have dogs which I did it's an place. ideal as the beach is dog friendly. Would recommend going on a boat trip at sea houses to visit Farne island and see the seals and puffins. Would definitely stay here again. Gaynor, Gary and Bella.
