Feedback - It would have been helpful to have been advised ‘before booking and before our stay’ that there was building works taking place next to the property on site next to the cottage.
We sat in the hot tub to relax and unwind on holiday, to being next to a building site with loud noises of building works, of construction machinery drilling into concrete, walking under scaffolding to access the leisure centre. It started early morning and whilst we were there it wasn’t relaxing or what I had expected from a countryside holiday break.
It was also difficult to find the property when we arrived dark at night when the cottage was on a different entrance and part of the road, which would have been helpful to know prior to travelling.
The cottage itself was lovely, with bread, butter, milk & biscuits provided was a nice touch. Everything was in lovely condition, the pool is fantastic and location and views to the sea also great.
We have finally finished all the building work. The new car has been completed now so you access the parking for the cottage from the top of the main car park on site. We also have got outdoor lighting for the cottage now. We hope you will return to visit us again.
