The property was actually a lot better than the listing.

2nd time here.

Nothing had changed. Lovely location with views of the sea. People work hard at these properties keeping everything lovely for our visit. Only improvement would be better curtains and blinds on the bedroom windows. Small kitchen window no blind at all there. Extensive welcome pack is a good touch. Will be back!

We were really impressed with the facilities, we loved the hot tub with sea views and it was nice having private access to the swimming pool.

The dressing gowns were very handy, the folder of information was useful and the site was very peaceful. If we had known about the hairdresser on site in advance (before our haircuts!) we would have made use of it. Our recommendation for a place to visit as a family is Cragside.

We noticed these being built a few years ago and was delighted that they had availability on our next visit to Northumberland.

The cottage was lovely and equipped with everything needed during our stay. The location and grounds are excellent. The view from our cottage was great and at night enjoyed star gazing whilst soothing the joints in the hot tub from a day of walking. Plenty of private car parking spaces we managed to park outside our cottage most days but if this was high season not sure how busy this would be, maybe one space could be labelled for each specific cottage so you where guaranteed one space. Overall a beautiful cottage and excellent location we will definitely return when we get the chance.

What a fantastic property.

Everything you could wish for and more ,the owners have obviously put a lot of thought into what is needed to have a great holiday. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. So special to have exclusive access. The walks to the beach and village are well kept and great to be able to park and leave the car behind. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the wildlife in its natural habitat. Will definitely return.

Wow, this accommodation far exceeded my expectations.

I cannot find anything to fault or improve, it was perfect for us - first class housekeeping team, high standards maintained as the cottage was spotlessly clean. The use of the pool was a definite addition to our enjoyment, I can’t wait to return. Thankyou for our basic food items, it was a thoughtful and helpful touch. Hope to see you soon

We had an excellent stay , the cottage was well equipped and very comfortable esp the king sized bed and the unexpected addition of food basics butter bread milk orange juice etc was great.

Absolutely fell in love with the location with uninterrupted views to the sea ,the site was first class , clean and well thought out .Loved the hot tub and the icing on the cake was the private reserved times in the indoor swimming pool .The cottage is a fantastic base for exploring this beautiful area and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking a holiday in Northumberland !

This was our second visit to this cottage and just as last year it did not disappoint.

Lovely and clean 2 bed cottage supplied with everything you would expect from this standard of accommodation. Located just outside the village of Embleton, the views are fantastic and you can walk down the cut grass path to the coast line then literally go left or right along the coast line, the beaches are breath-taking. Enjoyed several early evenings in the hot tub located just outside our cottage, again these are very clean and the staff empty and refill each hot tub after your visit. Staff on site are engaging and will help you out if required too. Already considering next year after a perfect week, thanks.

Daughter's comments: Wow, what a lovely place to stay!

As part of a three family group it gave us a great experience of being together and having our own space for privacy. The children were able to pop in and out of the adjacent cottages to visit family safely and interact with grandparents and cousins as often as they liked. The cottages and complex were very clean and tidy, well situated for trips to Craster, Beadnell (rockpooling), Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Alnwick and close to Embleton beach. Just a lovely place to stay. We will be back in the future.

The cottage was warm, cosy and had everything required for a great holiday, except a pair of scissors :-), a real home from home.

We didn't use the pool or personal outdoor hot tub but both looked spotless and we'll definitely try next time we visit. The location of the cottage was excellent for the walking and golfing we did and it being only a 10 to 15 minute walk across fields to the beach was fantastic. The walk to Craster via the beach, golf course and castle is fantastic and a great day out. Already booked our next visit.

Would recommend black out blind in double bedroom to reduce light shining in from outside.

Glebe cottage was gorgeous!

We had the best time, everything was sparkling and completely as described! The pool was a nice added touch!

Beautiful well run facility, only suggestion, blinds to both bedrooms for privacy as both rooms faced passing guests and car park.

We have already recommended to friends. We will return.

Clean, warm and welcoming. We especially appreciated the hot tub with the wonderful views down to the sea and loved the fact that it was refilled and cleaned for each occupancy. The pool was lovely and again the exclusive use of the pool and the signing in procedure made it a stress free and pleasant experience. The cottage itself had everything we needed and more. Nice touch to have a few basics from the local area in the kitchen. Bread, milk, orange juice, butter, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar. The area is rich with wonderful places to visit and beautiful beaches to wander along. We definitely would book to stay again in the future.

Felt the pool & hot tub really added to our stay.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

We loved being able to use the swimming pool by ourselves on the rota system and the hot tub was great too. Our children enjoyed the play area and outdoor space. It is a peaceful and relaxing location and the sea view was wonderful.

Perfect place to stay to explore the area.

Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. No need to eat out as the facilities are so good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Just returned home from a fantastic week at this cottage.

The property is in a brilliant location, very clean and comfy, with all the facilities you could need, including a hot tub just outside the cottage for sole use of the occupants. several cottages have these and they are drained and cleaned after each check out. On arrival a lovely, generous welcome pack awaits including tea / coffee. The cottage is well stocked with dishwasher / washing machine etc all the facilities you would expect for this standard of accommodation. The site also has a very nice swimming pool to use. The staff actually cut the grass to make a paths either down to the beach at Newton or into the village of Embleton, eliminating the need to walk on the road, this has been really well thought out. The walks for here are endless and can be as short or as long as you want. Nice little duck pond with four ducks on site and it's not just for the little ones, these are very well fed believe me. Big shout out to the on site staff all really friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great week .
