“Low Croft cottage at North Farm Cottages in Embleton is a perfect getaway for peace, quiet and tranquillity.”

On arrival a very thoughtful welcome pack (milk bread, butter, orange juice, biscuits and plenty of tea, coffee and sugar) was available in the cottage, all quality products. A couple of maintenance issues regarding the showers but we left feedback to get that sorted. Lowcroft is a pet friendly cottage and I would be more than happy to come back with a dog (they do need to be on lead around the other cottages as there is no fenced space next to the cottage). If you’re not used to pets the slight eau de dog on one of the sofas and a few dog hairs around might be off putting. The bedrooms are comfortable, plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. The mattress covers make the beds a bit too hot. Being towards the end of season the carpets could do with a freshen up. The bathrooms are lovely but there is definitely a knack to flushing the toilets! The only downside is the height of the mirrors above the sinks - perhaps one a little higher to the side or one on an arm that could be raised. The cottage is very cosy and warm with lots of thoughtful touches, games for the children, an airing cupboard for the coats, lots of utensils etc in the kitchen. Everything you could possibly think of is provided in the cottage. (Washing up liquid, detergents, shower gel, hand wash etc) The main reason we chose North Farm Cottages was for the private use of their lovely swimming pool, it is a real asset. It would be helpful if a notice was put in the changing areas to remind guests to leave both the pool and changing areas on time for the next guests use. We loved being close to the coast and a short walk to the village and appreciated the mown pathways across the fields. All in all the everything you could think of and more is provided in this cottage. We will be recommending North Farm Cottages to our friends and family the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly value hearing from our guest as it helps us improve our facilities and services. We have a maintenance guy on site who is happy to assist anything that goes wrong in your Cottage, but I will deal with the issue regarding the showers we try and keep our facilities to top condition The swimming pool schedule is designed to balance guests access throughout their holiday And we haven’t had a problem before….. There is some lovely walks on the coastline and we appreciate that you are going to recommend North Farm to your friends and family Property Owner
