Benefit from ample parking on the driveway and to the roadside, before heading indoors, firstly reaching the stylish sitting room, with plenty of plush seating to sink into in front of the woodburning stove. If the sun is shining, spend time together in the conservatory, with views out to the enclosed decked area, a haven for alfresco mealtimes and entertaining. The kitchen/diner features a sleek design, with integrated, state-of-the-art appliances and a lovely dining table to fit all, perfect for gathering around for dinner parties or formal mealtimes, whilst a handy utility/garage rests next door, with further appliances and space to store bikes and watersport equipment. You can also take a boat trip from the seaside village of Seahouses, to the Farne Islands, where you will see an abundance of different birds including puffins. If its shopping you’re after, why not visit one of Europe's largest shopping centres, the Metro Centre in Gateshead which offers all kinds of shopping and entertainment. If you don’t want to venture to far away, you can take a leisurely walk on the unspoilt beautiful beach at Cambois, it is a hidden gem in the Northumberland Coastline, then head next door to the Charlton's Sports Bar which is run by the late Jack Charlton's son John. Jack was a famous footballer from the local town of Ashington who played for England when they won the World Cup in 1966; the pub is full of memorabilia of Jack's time winning the World Cup and when he was Manager of Ireland. They offer great, homemade food as well at a very reasonable price. The nearby town of Ashington is home to some very famous sportsman such as footballers Jack Charlton, Bobby Charlton, and Jackie Milburn; also, England cricketers Steve Harmison and Mark Wood who often frequent Ashington Cricket Club on match day. Queen Elizabeth II Country Park is a beautiful spot with a picturesque lake, whilst Ashington Community Woodland is perfect for walkers and wildlife-watchers. Discover the town's farming and mining history in Woodhorn Museum, a former 19th-century coal mine now hosting local arts and relics.
