Absolutely loved this house.

Really warm and welcoming. Cooked most nights and had everything we needed, except a pair of scissors. Subtle christmas touches were appreciated. Hot tap in bathroom sink dripping and really hard to turn off. Toilet flush was a little tricky till you got the hang of it. The hosts were fab at communicating especially as we only booked on day of arrival. The dogs enjoyed the outdoor space on an evening.

Great cottage stopped here a couple of times,nice walk in to seahouses takes about 15 mins,cottage is nice and comfortable just a couple of minor issues that could be sorted easily, the flush on the toilet needs sorting, hot water tap in the bathroom needs attention, and a set of pans would be nice,other than that had a great stay

Great holiday cottage, very warm and comfortable, enjoyed everything about it and the area, only small problem we found was the toilet was leaking and we had to keep emptying the bowl from under the leak as it quickly filled up.

We would return.

Our 4th year in the Dairy.

As clean and well maintained as our first visit. Left alone, yet Louise is there to help at the end of a text if you need her! A big bonus is that there is always hot water when you need it. A small thing you may think, but makes a huge difference. The beach is just 10mins walk, and a fabulous beach it is too. Everything we needed.

The cottage was fine, we had a great time but this was sullied by a very rude call from the owner when we got back to complain about dog hairs and sand on the stairs.

We left the cottage clean and tidy but no, we didn't hoover the stairs but it wasnt that bad, if it was i would have done it. If you are so offended by dog hair, don't allow dogs in the property. Post holiday buzz killed instantly in one very rude, aggressive and inappropriate phone call. Also, no washing machine in property.

Faultless what more can I say.

We will definitely be back soon. Just a short walk to the dog friendly beaches which the pooches loved. Plenty to do and see including boat trips on the harbour to see all the sea animals even the Orcas showed there face. Lindisfarne is beautiful check time of tides. All in all holiday to remember and a big thankyou to Louise who even had tea, coffee and milk for a nice cuppa on arrival after a long drive. The house lovely spacious and immaculately clean loved the corner bath for a nice soak after a long day. Can't recommend it enough just book it

The suggestion to control heat in the rooms was not helped by the fact that some of the temperature controls on the radiators don't work.

The one in the bedroom simply rotated round and round but we could not turn down the heat which we found opressive. We could not access many of the TV channels due to interference on screen. Finally I found the chairs and table in the kitchen totally uncomfortable due to the miniscule size. I'm only 6 feet tall but I felt like I was sitting at a primary school desk.

Fantastic place to stay,host was very helpful and friendly, can't fault anything, would recommend it as a great stay,

Loved hastings dairy very clean on arrival, comfortable beds, great bathroom , lovely shower, handy to have the garage to park in too.

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable, well presented and maintained both inside and outside, think they have purchased new garden furniture.

Welcome folder which was very informative about the house and local amenities. Liked the signs on the front door, beach left, shops right. Walk to beautiful beaches 10 mins, shops mins max. Seahouses is wonderful, very dog friendly and nice shops. Comprehensive co-op, butchers, bakers, wet fish monger plus lots more. Lots of nice details in cottage and very well equipped, heating excellent. We shall definitely be returning and already recommending. What a lovely holiday!

Only thing missing would be a washing machine. Outside back garden could also do with an update

Lovely cottage and fantastic location.

Cottage is cosy and feels homely with all the soft furnishings and accessories. Plenty of storage space too. The only downside for me is the outside garden furniture in the balcony and back yard is old / dated and falling apart and this lets the property down as everything else is fitted to a good standard and thought out well so to make this 10 out of 10 I would suggest replacing this tired furniture and it would be perfect. Apart from that a lovely place and if we ever visit Northumberland again we would consider staying at Hastings Dairy.

Weve booked many holiday properties throughout the UK over the years , & we can honestly say this nicest & cleanest we have ever stayed in , the place was immaculate very comfortable & well situated.

My wife & I are definitely planning on contacting the owners & rebooking in the future .

This was our second holiday at Hasting Dairy, it is a lovely house with all you could wish for on holiday.

The location is excellent for exploring Northumberland on foot and by car.

Beautiful place, clean and warm, close to shops and harbour about 5 minute walk, ideal inclosed garden, will be booking again and highly recommend to anyone

Everything you would require for a stay at this lovely property was on hand.

Lovely bonus to have Netflix to watch after walking along the nearby beach all day. Definitely recommend especially for dog owners as very secure and enclosed.

Great property which we have used several times for trips to Seahouses, very clean and well equipped with enclosed back garden for our dogs which is very handy.

Central location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Would definitely book again.

spotlessly clean especially as they welcome dogs. Great location close to amenities and the beach. Miss a washing machine but there is a laundry nearby if required. Happily stay there again with 2 hyper collies.

Everything needed for home from home self-accommodation. Second year. Exactly same - so great maintenance and eye for detail. Hot water remains available 24/7 too!

we found very comfortable and had every thing we needed.hastings dairy is perfectly placed with only a ten minute walk either into seahouses town center or Into sandunes and the beach .we had a great holiday and we will be back.Thank you

Simply but comfortably and attractivley furnised, well stocked kitchen with utensills.

Tea bags, milk and biscuits provided on arrival. Comfy beds and sofas. Owner Louise came and said hello and checked all was okay. Gets the sun most of the day untill 6pm in the back and nice to sit out on the balcony also. You can park outside the cottage on the road or on the slope right by the house, we did get the car in the garage but very narrow and is an access route, possible to drive though into the yard. Seahouses itself is about a 10 min walk on the pavement and is very picturesque. Was actually nicer to be just outside the main area. Very enjoyable stay and would deffinitley go back

Had a marvellous stay.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Ideal for our pets too. Slept really well and would stay here again. Very clean and comfortable A 10 minute walk into Seahouses. Great dog friendly pubs close by. Doesn’t have a washing machine so take enough clothes with you.

Lovely cosy cottage, well located.

Clean had everything you need. There are a few improvements/maintenance that are needed: the shower hose leeks quite a bit, the front door is stiff to open and it's the first time I've stayed in a house without a washing machine. None of these took anything away from our Lovely stay. I would recommend Hastings dairy and would stay again.

Could not fault the cleanliness.

Everywhere was immaculately clean. Unfortunately the cottage on arrival (4pm) was very cold, we had driven through a few flurries of snow and low temperatures so expected heating to be on. Although 3 shelves in master bedroom, a chest of drawers would have would have been better suited. Lack of storage for food provisions. Cottage states for 4 people but I feel it would seem overcrowded for 4 adults, thankfully just two of us. Balcony was great for the night skies. Seahouses is central for visiting beaches and villages along the coastal route....love this area.

Hastings Dairy is a lovely cottage - very clean & comfortable.

The property has been refurbished to a high standard, and the owners have put a lot of thought into providing a relaxing place to stay. We really enjoyed our break here.

The accomodation was superb.

Fantastic property about 15 minute walk from the centre / beach.

The property had everything we needed as a family of four with a decent size freezer, cooker etc Was very clean and had alarm clocks etc.

We absolutely loved this cottage,very clean and warm everything you needed.

Plus having two dogs it had everything you needed to keep it clean I was extremely impressed with the information pack about facilities and how to use them plus lots of information about the area. In my opinion if you don’t need to contact the owners then it’s a perfect holiday accommodation. We will be recommending it to family and friends

Hasting Dairy was spotless, warm, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

, being modern, but in keeping with the house and the area. Patio and balcony caught the sun all day. Milk in the fridge and biscuits for a welcome cup of tea when we arrived. Perfectly situated for exploring the whole area. A bus stop right outside the door provided a prompt and regular service from Berwick to Alnwick stopping at all the coastal villages in between. Thank-you. We hope to stay again as there are so many things we still want to do in the area.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped.

A delightful cottage, well maintained, clean and enjoyable stay.

The kitchen is very good and the local Co-Op well stocked.

Portly customers might struggle to sit round the table. We knew there wasn’t a washing machine and came prepared, but unlike most Youth Hotels there’s no drying room. Stronger light bulbs on the landing and a re-located ‘doggy gate’ would improve safety (we 4 were between 59 & 86). Different coloured towels would be better. More supportive mattresses would have helped us ancient mortals. The viability of the property may change once the proposed yellow line parking is implemented as there isn’t enough paid parking half a mile away in Seahouses; we gather that zealous traffic wardens penalise pavement parking outside the cottage and only very small vehicles can be parked directly in front, although with significant skill we managed to park a Mini Cooper in the rear yard through the garage (which is off-bounds)

This is a lovely well equipped warm cottage which has clearly been looked after.

It is in a good location. I really have no complaints at all .. the owner was very helpful and easy to contact about a minor query.

Had a wonderful stay in this very dog friendly cottage with our 2 small dogs.

Bed was comfy and facilities were spot on. Lovely and warm, plenty of hot water. Back yard handy for first and last doggy tiddles. Nice pleasant walk for beach or shop, harbour and pub etc. Dog friendly pubs, plenty of take-aways. Had Indian from Spices, wasn’t very spicy, the other one is fantastic. Best chippy is Lewis’s. Ideal place to visit Holy Island, Bamburgh and Beadnell close by and other places further away. Hostess Louise keeps in touch, very friendly. Would definitely return.

This cottage has the potential to be great, and is absolutely in a brilliant location.

A few things: 1. The shower head is completely disgusting and needs sorting out immediately. The owner cannot claim ignorance of this as it is mentioned in the review book in the cottage. 2. Multiple blown light bulbs...a pet hate of mine...but really simple to check for. 3. You really need a washing machine... Otherwise, the communications from the owner were great, and we had a nice time. Sort the shower out...a new head costs about £5 from Lidl!

In actual fact, we were unable to stay in Hastings Dairy as there was a problem with the boiler.

We were moved to another property, a bigger property and had a lovely week. Both cottages were absolutely lovely, real homes away from home. We would stay in either again in a heartbeat.

Excellent location, very clean, modern, well decorated, the cottage had everyhting included, plenty of space for parking, very quiet area, the hosts had left good clear instructions for key collection and use of all the electrical appliances.

Shower head could be better but apart from that it’s spot on. Sitting on the balcony listening to the birds was super relaxing.

The information, customer service and communication from booking until after our stay was exceptional.

Hastings dairy was fantastic - so clean throughout and amazing facilities. The owners had thought of everything and the accommodation was well-equipped with lots of extra comforts. One of the nicest holiday rentals we have had the pleasure of staying in. Fabulous location too - a bus stop only a few metres away and a short walk into seahouses. We hope to return very soon - thank you!

Well positioned to explore Northumberland

We stayed May 21-28th The cottage was lovely- very clean (spotless!

). Very well furnished and comfortable. The owner has thought of everything! The heating wouldn't work one eve & Louise came straight away and got it working. It's about a 10 min walk into Seahouses. The beach is lovely & dog friendly & the area is fantastic if you like bird watching! Dogs are allowed on the boat if you want to go on a trip to the Farne Islands. Lots of nice walks & lovely area to explore.

was our second visit to this property though its in good area we were disappointed with the cooking facilities which were exactly the same as the first time which were not up to standard,also the shower head needed replacing or cleaning ,we arrived at time stated in our booking to be greeted by owner who was still cleaning and was told it was 4pm entry not 3pm

The Oven seal didnt work as it was hanging down.

It would of been seen when cleaned. It would benefit with a washer and not a dishwasher.

Should highlight that there is shared access to the rear courtyard as we were unaware of this until we got to the let.

Felt uncomfortable on occasion due to the fact. Parking sometimes difficult outside property and big vehicles use the road, wing mirror damaged even though tucked in and road side of car scratched. Property itself clean and comfortable.

Great location, near a fabulous beach and also shops/restaurants nearby. The cottage was clean and we could still smell bleach, so we felt all steps were taken to make it Covid safe. We had a great time, especially our dog! Would definitely recommend.

A fabulous retreat on the Northumberland coast, a first class cottage in North Sunderland with all amenities close by can’t rate it high enough

This is our fourth visit in as many years to this property; it is extremely well presented, well equipped and provides an immediate opportunity to relax and enjoy the locality.

We commmend the owner, their efforts and finishing touches are much appreciated.

Very clean and well maintained property.

Plenty of space and the outdoor areas are a lovely bonus which were well used. Everything well thought out for a comfortable stay. Great location for reaching the whole of the coastline.
