    “Although fairly well traveled this was our first cottage holiday and was a late booking as the weather forecast was good.”

    We were delighted by the property location in Seahouses with restaurants, pubs, shops, harbour and beach all within an easy walk and beautifully central for attractions up and down the Northumbrian coast.Perfect. Parking space was adequate and the cottage was very clean and well maintained. All in all excellent value for money.If I was being picky there is a very minor fault with the outside light switch which probably just needs a wire tightened and long term the bathroom will need updating or ...

So,overall a wonderful stay in a wonderful part of the country

FIRST FLOOR Living room with comfy seating, TV and door to outside balcony. Kitchen/breakfast room with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and door to outside via external staircase. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
