Acquaint yourself with the local town, where you can dine out with loved ones at The Queens Head or The Narrow Nick, ideal for those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking.
There is also a fish and chip takeaway for when you fancy ordering in and a well-stocked convenience store for picking up fresh produce.

We had such a great stay at Healey cottage, it had everything we needed, spotlessly clean, cosy and with the most amazing views that go on forever.
Janice is a wonderful host, on hand to help out if you need anything, she took our washing and dried it for us when it was raining. The property is in a great location to explore Northumberland where there is so much to do we really needed more than a week. But that’s ok as it means we will have to come back to Healey Cottage.
We had a very comfortable week, stunning views with various birds visiting the bird feeders.
The cottage has all that you need for perfect stay.
Lovely peaceful location with spectacular views and very comfortable accommodation.
Highly recommended for a quiet restful break.
