Comfortable, very clean & in a perfect place for easy access into town & the beach.

Would book this property again.

Loved the location and layout.

We found the front and back door locks a bit temperamental I think a quick service from a locksmith would really help. Also the fridge was small and an extremely small ice box., the rest of the kitchen was lovely and the bedrooms and bathroom were excellent.

Crumstone Corner is excellently placed close to all the ammenties shops, harbour and several pubs within easy walking distance, the property itself is clean, tidy and very well equipped, although we didn't get to look at the games room in the garage as we had excellent weather and were out every day only thing to note is the parking could be a little tight for larger cars though I had no issues with a newer model Hyundai I20.

All I can say is that this is fantastic base to explore Northumberland.

It has everything you need and it caters for couples and families alike. Already booked for next year so this would be our 4th or 5th stay, that is a thumbs up

Ideally situated in Seahouses and thoughtfully equipped with many extras not usually found in holiday cottages.

A lovely house with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Its very convenient for Seahouses harbour & village centre. It is handy that you can park in front of the garage next to the house. The games area looked good, but as we had great weather we didn't use it. We found the remote for the fire tv a bit confusing but this was ok when we got the hang of it. Maybe some instructions would be useful. There were instructions for everything else. The house was very warm, so we turned off the storage heaters in a couple of rooms, but was cosy on the cold days. Bed was comfortable.

We have been to crumstone a few times now and find it central for everything and can visit other places quite easily

Very convenient little house with own parking space next to house. A few minutes walk from harbour for boat trips or a lovely walk along the cliffs south of Seahouses to see the birdlife along the shore. Right behind shops. Did not need to take car out all week. Very relaxing.

What an absolutely lovely, well equipped house.

It had everything we could possibly need and really thought about people with children. We took our 6 year old grandson with us. The games and videos were a godsend! So close to all the local amenities...a true home away from home The ONLY thing missing (personal choice!) was a fan! It was very warm during our stay. Thank you for letting us "live" in your house! Would definitely recommend a stay here and may even go back ourselves

Great place well located for all amenities.

An excellent property.

Equipped with everything you need for a good holiday. Centrally located, close to beach, harbour, pub and shops. We recommend the boat trip to Lindisfarne (Holy Island) a beautiful peaceful place. We saw dolphins, seals, puffins and guillemots on the voyage back to Seahouses.

30 secs walk from harbour n 2 fabulous pubs. 2 more very close by. Property very clean and bottle of cava on arrival and ice in fridge. ❤️ parking is a bit tight but i got my Suzuki vitari in no problem. Bed is double not king and mattress a little bit hard for my partners bad back and to echo other reviews, yes the TV defo needs an upgrade! We had fantastic weather so not an issue, but if you had kids to entertain in bad weather it could be. Wonderful week exploring and I would stay in it again.

We had a fabulous four day break in Crumstone Corner.

This cute little house is in a great location only two minutes from the harbour and the famous Olde Ship Inn. The house itself has everything we needed for our stay with a very well equipped kitchen. We were very comfortable and appreciated the added extras provided for us by the owners.

Crumstone corner is a lovely seaside property, well equipped and centrally located with all the amenities needed for a great holiday.

The generosity of the owners makes you feel very welcome. Even in the winter Seahouses is well worth a visit for beautiful coastal walks, atmospheric pubs and independent local shops.

Went to Seahouses for a few days break before winter takes hold.

The property was great. Very clean and so close to amenities! Yes the parking was a bit tight but if you reverse in it's not an issue at all (we have SUV) Will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Shower over the bath is faulty,shower is spurting water rather than flowing.

Bath is a higher bath than we have at home ,so with no handrail on the wall my wife was unable to use the shower for the duration of our stay.(My wife is partially disabled and we have an over the bath shower without a handrail at home which she uses.).

Apart from a couple of niggles, this was definately home from home, down to owning the same cups and signs !

A wonderful gift of prosecco and biscuits on arrival. Niggles first. The main bedroom bed. uncomfortable, Not everybody likes a bed of bricks. Secondly, the shower, The bathroom was fab, loads of hot water, but a very difficult and disappointing shower. There was also a hole in the bathroom door. There was plenty of books to read, with the offer of taking it home if you don't finish it, which we thought was very nice. Games galore for the kids on rainy days, for the older kids (including husbands !) The garage. The entrance to the garage is outside of the property, which can be a bit daunting on darker nights. A kitchen with everything you could wish for. Apart from the washer being in the garage. A set of drawers in the main bedroom would be useful. There was blankets in the footstool for the nippy nights and dvd collection that could rival any shop. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Definately a home from home and hopefully will be back soon ! Thank you for a fabulous few days !

I have had a lovely stay at this property, it was extremely comfortable and very well equipped.

The position of the property is excellent, being close to everything in the centre of Seahouses. My only disappointment was the parking, and I note this has been mentioned before. The parking space is at the back of the property and with the shop workers parking in the alleyway it made it extremely tight trying to get into the parking space, for a nervous parker (myself, unfortunately), it did cause some concern and we used to delay getting back to the cottage to ensure the parked car would be gone. This concern aside, we had a lovely week away.

A fantastic cottage in a great location.

Despite being so close to the high street in Seahouses, it was very quiet. The large collection of books and games for all ages was a welcome addition and the games room was fab. Although we had good weather during our stay, we still made use of the games room most days. The cottage is very well equipped and it’s clear that the owners really want their guests to have a relaxing stay, as they have thought of everything! The welcome pack was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again, as we felt very much at home.

Lovely property central to Seahouses.

The house is beautifully presented and well kept. The addition of the game room in the garage was a bonus on rainy days! The owners left some items as a welcome and we were given use of beach items too. Thank you very much!

Very clean and comfortable house with the games room as a bonus.

There was everything we could possibly need. It was in a very convenient situation for the facilities in the town,and also places further afield. The folder of places to visit was useful and very comprehensive. The only problem was that there were no instructions about how to use the grill and oven, we managed to work out the oven but not the grill. Overall a really pleasant stay.

A lovely stay in a lovely property!

The welcome Prosecco and biscuits were a nice touch but even more appreciated was the fresh milk and tea bags on arrival! The property is really well appointed and had absolutely everything required, with a superb level of cleanliness. The main bedroom mattress was not terribly comfortable but I think that could be personal preference. The shower is also a little disappointing. Parking is a tad tricky for a large car. However, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property in an excellent location and loved watching the birds come to roost in the hedge of an evening. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

A comfortable homely cottage.

Prosecco and biscuits provided went down a treat. The issue we had with us loosing the cottage keys was quickly resolved by the lovely owners. (we had a new set cut) Parking at the rear was provided but was a bit awkward at times due to the small wall and workers at the adjacent cafe parking behind the cafe. Lovely and close to the pubs/cafes and of course the habourside Friendly neighbours.

Crumstone Corner is a great holiday cottage , particularly suitable for a family with children as it provides lots of facilities such as games, dvds etc.

It is in a very good position, convenient for shops and the harbour (only a short walk away). There is everything provided for a comfortable stay. The only slight criticism would be that the front garden felt overgrown and did not look like the picture online, and parking was a bit tight.

It was beautifully kept with everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Off road parking for a small/medium sized car being a bonus.Lots of places to visit with Holy Island a must see. Highly recommend Seahouses for a trip to Nothumberland

Nice quiet and clean property.

We didn't cook so can't comment on how good the cooking facilities were. There are a good selection of eating places in the centre. Good location for Seahouses and driving to locations up and down the coast. Parking is sometimes a bit tight at Crumstone but is manageable. The area of land at the front of the property isn't as big as the picture might suggest. Overall though a good choice.

Really enjoyed our stay at Crumstone Corner, ideally situated in a quiet street behind the main shops, the property was scrupulously clean and very well equipped.

On the whole it was a lovely comfortable stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return, a nice surprise was the bottle of Prosecco and other essentials.

We really enjoyed our stay.

It didn't matter that the weather was awful - we had everything we needed in the house, there was plenty to do in Seahouses and the local area and the people were lovely. We left the car and used the bus most days.

What a lovely place to stay.

This home had everything you could want and more. Never seen so many pots. So clean and well kept. The fire failed to work one night. Not a problem there was a spare heater we could use. The next day Simon was on the ball and sorted the fire out for us. I would highly recommend Crumstone Corner. If you ever start taking dogs we will be back. Thank you for an amazing Holiday.

We felt that the holiday cottage couldn't be bettered.

It had everything we needed and more besides. A welcoming box of biscuits, coffee, tea and other necessaries, were provided. If there had been a few dishwasher tablets we would have used them. Lovely location very near the centre of town which was surprisingly quiet given our location. A peaceful yet adventure filled retreat. Many thanks!

A lovely holiday getaway.

Lots of useful things in the cottage that we didn’t know we needed, but used throughout the week. Very well thought through. We loved the games room! Perfect place for our family.

Only took car out once during the week which was great after a long journey from Shropshire to reach this beautiful area. My second trip to Crumstone and expect to come back.

Immaculately clean on arrival.

Well equipped for a self catering holiday. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival, as well as tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and wine is a nice touch. The house is literally round the corner from the harbour, pubs and shops of this lovely seaside town. Reserved off road parking on the drive at the rear of the property is very useful. Good base to explore Holy Island, Berwick, Bamburgh and Alnwick with lots of other lovely seaside places such as Beadnell only a few minutes drive. The house is well furnished throughout and very comfortable. Good sized TV with DVD (good variety of family DVDs) , good WiFi and even an Amazon Alexa. We had a perfect week's stay. We would stay here again and have already recommended to friends and family.

Good accomodation in good location.

Lots of facilities including pool table. The outside area could do with a bit more care. Holiday was spoiled by the next doors very loud refurbishment which was still being done at 8pm.

A well equipped house ideally situated next to the harbour and the centre of Seahouses.

Plenty of hot water and an efficient fire in the lounge in addition to the storage heaters. The vertical rail holding the shower head had been damaged, presumably by a previous guest but it was not apparent till my husband used it and it fell. I rang Simon and he was most apologetic and arranged to call in and effect a repair. H We had a great week with castles and walks aplenty.

The cottage was really clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is just yards away from the harbour and the centre of Seahouses, but is in a quiet and peaceful location. Seahouses is the perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coast. Highly recommended. We'd be very happy to stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it.

The house is perfect for a small family and we had a great week using it as a base to explore locally and relax. There are great places to eat within minutes walk of the house and it has everything you need to cook. Loads of movies and games to choose from and really comfortable beds. I’m sure we will be back again.

We had a lovely stay at Crumstone Corner.

The property is very well-equipped and nicely furnished. The bathroom has been updated since the photographs on the website were taken. It's close to all amenities in Seahouses and has a sea view out of the front bedroom window. It wasn't a problem for us as we didn't use it, but the door to the twin bedroom couldn't be closed as one of the beds was in the way. Apart from that, we would definitely recommend a stay at Crumstone Corner.

There are so many things that recommend this property.

Firstly it's location. It is a short 2 minute walk from the main Street which has shops and restaurants etc. The harbour is also a 2 minute walk . I would say this is one of the best properties we have stayed at. It is very well kept, and very clean. The owners have put alot of thought in to meeting the needs of all the family. There are DVDs for all ages, games and puzzles for all ages and an amazing games room in the garage. The kitchen equipment is high quality and very well stocked. It is a home from home! Would highly recommend and would visit again.

Had an amazing break away just wished we had booked for longer!

Everything that we could possibly need was there already looking to book for the summer so we can enjoy the lovely garden and seating area. Would highly recommend this property

Excellent accommodation and a perfect central location.

Only minor fault is the availability of freezer space. Freezer box in fridge only. Storage a problem unless only want to eat fresh and don't want to store more than a bag of peas.

We had a great week staying in a lovely property.

It was well equipped (one of the best we have stayed in). The welcome package was much appreciated. Sad we couldn't see a guest book to leave our thoughts. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

The cottage is nice and clean and has plenty of things in the kitchen, games and DVDs. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk from the main street but nice and quiet. Seahouses is a lovely town with a great beach and great restaurants. I'm sure we'll visit Crumstone Corner again

A very conveniently situated, comfortable, compact house.

Perfect for boat trips to the Farnes and for walking to the cliffs and beaches near Seahouses.

Excellent property - very comfortable with everything you need.

We couldn't believe the location - so close to the shops and harbour. We specifically wanted to see the puffins on Farne Island as last time we came they were not nesting so this was ticked off for us. The Links Hotel is great for meals especially the Steak night on Wednesdays.

We had a wonderful stay here.

The house was extremely clean. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The cupboards were full of lots of extras including tea/coffee, washing up liquid, foil etc. We even had milk, cookies and prosecco to welcome us. There were lots of DVDs, games and books available. The garage had a pool table, air hockey, table tennis, dart board etc. The bedrooms had lovely clean bed linen and towels. The double mattress was firm and the twin mattresses were soft. I think the beds are new since pictures were taken. They are now wooden in the twin bedroom. The shower was nice with lots of little shower gels/bubble bath to use. The only thing I would mention is that when the toilet is flushed, it makes a loud noise coming from the cupboard on the landing which could potentially wake you up in the night. The curtains aren't completely black out and the seagulls are quite noisy early in the mornings. Apart from that, we would definitely stay here again.

Really nice property right in the middle of Seahouses.

Two minute walk for fish and chips or an Indian or Italian restaurant. Garage made out as a games room was a real hit with the kids and the pool table and darts board are really good quality. Was concerned that having storage heaters might make it cold but it was lovely and warm and we ended up having to turn them down! Would definitely recommend and stop again.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation in the centre of Seahouses.

Top class acomadation lovely touch with Prosecco and biscuits hopefully book again next year.

Cottage really clean and everything you need was there down to all basic needs in the kitchen you don't have to take anything with you It is all there thank you it was most enjoyable the only thing it lacked was a veiw

Perfect place to stay to explore Northumberland! We visited Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles, Northumberland Zoo, Beamish Living Museum, Hauxley Wildlife Centre and Alnmouth beach!

In a great position for everything.

You can park your car and not use it again until you go home if you wish. This house contains everything you need, plus extras..... Very clean and home from home . Never had a dish washer but now home and going to buy one

perhaps you could fix mirror in bathroom to wall to facilitate shaving and also with regard to front bedroom, lined /blackout curtains would be appreciated in the summertime.

All in all a pleasant stay.

Brilliant location and being so close to beach and shops meant we didn't always need to get in our car.

The property is ideally located, close to the centre of Seahouses.

The parking space is convenient, but made difficult to use by the proximity of large industrial bins at the rear of nearby shops and sometime inconsiderate parking of others. The bathroom would benefit from having a mirror above the sink and a new bath mat. There was sufficient cutlery and china, but some sharp kitchen knives would have been appreciated. My wife would have liked a small table in the bedroom on which to put creams, brushes etc. The windowsill is not the ideal place to keep such things. All the above said, we would have awarded 4.5 stars if they were available. We would happily go again.

The bedrooms need sets of drawers as there is only hanging space, and there needs to be a mirror above the bathroom sink.

The cottage was very clean and cosy. Lots of places to visit, this will definitely not be the last time we book this cottage.

The parking space at the back in front of the garage was tight - it could be improved by removal of the short brick wall at one side.

The cottage is named but every other house in the road is numbered, and the photo on the publicity is either old or taken from an angle you cannot see from the road. We therefore spent a few minutes trying to find the property, and whilst there is a house name displayed in the garden, you cannot see this from the road. It was all a bit confusing and frustrating after a long journey. Apart from that, no issues at all.

Minor point, but kick plates need fixing on kitchen units quite a bit of dust visible beneath units.

The location was excellent, right in the centre of Seahouses, next to the old ship inn and harbour.

The facilities at the house were great, with a dishwasher and washer dryer. All the little extras were catered for such as tea,coffee etc and kitchen essentials I.e. cling film, wash up liquid, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets. The beds and bedding were super comfy, as was the sofa and useful addition of a large beanbag chair. The kids really enjoyed the games in the garage. The owners had provided milk in the fridge for a cuppa on our arrival, plus a lovely cake, local bottle of beer and some seaside rock for the kids.. a very nice touch and much appreciated!

the property was in a excellent location in the centre of seahouses it is in easy reach of a lot of interesting places, Bamburgh and Craster and Berwick are all within easy reach and well worth visiting

Sea houses is an excellent centre for visiting coast and countryside of northern Northumberland.

Crumstone Corner is ideally placed for the convenience of the village and the harbour. Good walks from here. The house is warm and comfortable and has everything one needs, apart from wi-fi, but we did not expect it as it was not listed. A joy to be without the internet for a week! The people we met in the shops, restaurants and the local Methodist Church were extremely friendly and made us feel most welcome. Many highlights including trips to National Trust properties, castles and of course, Lindisfarne Island. A great holiday all in all.

Although the house was clean and well equipped, there were a number of things which indicated that the house has been neglected.

For instance - the toilet hot tap leaked and rattled, the sink was lose and the door damaged. The loft water tank overflow leaked, it has been leaking long enough for moss to grow in the damp patch (on the wall) caused by the drip. The back door was sticking, some window fittings were loose, the paint was peeling of the soffits.

Lovely welcome pack and the warmth hit us when we opened the door which was much appreciated as it was quite chilly.

The owners had gone out of their way to leave us information about golf courses as they knew we wanted to play. Excellent holiday accommodation.

The property is central to shops restaurants and bars.

Walking on beautiful beaches.

And visiting historical castles.And boat trips to farne isles.

The only issue was the parking.

When we arrived all of the on-street parking was taken so we went to park infront of the garage at the rear of the property but the access road was also blocked by a poorly parked car.

Car parking is a problem in the area.

If you take the car out during the day, then workers in the shops take all the spaces in the street. If you park in front of the garage, then it can be difficult getting out.

This was the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in.

Loads of dvds including children's selection. Beds extremely comfortable and all very clean. Off street parking as well as a garage. Was very lucky with the weather. Had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Great stay.

The washing machine and dryer were in the garage which was OK but unfortunately the garage had several cobwebs which we had to clean out of the way in order to use the machine.

The storage heaters were extremely efficient almost to the point of being too hot, especially as we could not find keys to open the windows. However as we were out and about and did not contact the owner it was our fault for not following this up. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and it was very nice to be welcomed with a bottle of wine and some biscuits. The house itself was very comfortable and clean and the off road parking facility very good. The location of the house was excellent.

Only said no to re-booking because we like to try other areas and accommodation.

The accommodation could do with a little bit of tlc e.g bathroom, mould in particularly the shower head and in some of the grout. The idea of a games room is a good one but if they want people to look after it it would be good to present it in a tidy manner. Overall we have throughly enjoyed the week and the accommodation is ideally situated in Seahouses with all facilities in easy reach.

Welcome pack was a lovely gesture. The house was very clean and had everything you needed. The only problem was the cooking options had faded off the front panel of cooker, so it was a bit of luck whether you picked grill, oven and what temp you had it on. Although saying that we did manage to use it.
