Hideaway Cottage No 1 is a splendid pet-friendly property located in the heart of the old fishing village area of Seahouses, only 100m away from the harbour and local amenities, ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a coastal escape.

With open-plan, ground-floor living and proximity to the beach, it offers a practical and well-appointed base for exploring the area.

Upon entering, you're welcomed by a spacious double height living area that sets the tone for your stay.

Two sofas are positioned centrally, providing a place to gather after a day out, while the dining table nearby is suited for shared meals and seats four guests comfortably.

The open-plan kitchen runs along one side of the room and includes an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, and dishwasher—equipped for a fully self-catered experience.

A utility room just off the main space adds further convenience, featuring a second fridge and a washer/dryer, ideal for extended stays.

Further inland, Alnwick offers a variety of experiences, from the historic Alnwick Castle with its film connections, to the imaginative Alnwick Garden with its fountains and Poison Garden, and Barter Books, one of the UK’s largest second-hand bookshops housed in a restored railway station.

Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, not to be missed. The Northumberland Coast Path offers stunning walking and hiking opportunities where you can soak in the scenic coastal trails with breath-taking views, whilst the nearby Seahouses Golf Club offers a wonderful spot to practice your swing or play a round or two amidst the coastal backdrop.
