With the addition of comfy seating, a delightful woodburning stove, a feature exposed brick wall and wood flooring, the space exudes a truly inviting ambience. Step into the good-sized kitchen and you will find everything needed to rustle up delicious food for the whole family. When it’s time to serve up there is an elegant dining area, ready to greet guests who can look forward to long and leisurely meals together. After dinner and a few hours of good conversation with loved ones, make your way to bed, choosing from three delightful bedrooms; a twin and children’s bunk and on the second floor, an impressive master suite with a sumptuous double bed, French doors leading out onto a terrace with beautiful views over the rooftops of Seahouses and stylish en-suite facilities. In the morning, you are already in a fantastic location for getting out and about exploring so why not start off with a stroll over to Seahouses harbour? Then there are simply miles of sandy beaches to discover or you could catch a boat from here to Farne Islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Bamburgh also has some great independent shops, bars, pubs, cafés and boutiques, and is known for its fascinating castle. Jump in the car and head out to attractions such as Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland Zoo, Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and Hadrian’s Wall. Activities to look forward to while you’re in the region include golf at Alnmouth, horse-riding at Slate Hall Riding Centre and surfing at Bamburgh Castle Beach. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, not to be missed. The Northumberland Coast Path offers stunning walking and hiking opportunities where you can soak in the scenic coastal trails with breath-taking views, whilst the nearby Seahouses Golf Club offers a wonderful spot to practice your swing or play a round or two amidst the coastal backdrop. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick, well-known for its appearances in the much-loved Harry Potter films, to mention just a few.
