Lovely property have stay here three times now.

Great location to explore. Modern house with great facilities, games room a bonus for children and adults, large enclosed garden excellent for dogs.

We loved our time at Coastal view.

The house was spacious with a well appointed kitchen situated on a quiet estate with good views and private garden. A 10 minute stroll along the coastal path took us into the centre of Seahouses.

Lovely house in a great location.

The house was clean and nicely decorated. Very quiet neighbourhood. Our dog loved the fully enclosed garden and an afternoon stroll around the field next door. All amenities were within walking distance including the beach. Only disappointing aspect were the many weeds growing in the gravel around the property. A suggestion albeit it a small one would be an outside light at the rear of the property for letting the dog out at night otherwise we would love to return again.

The house was warm and welcoming and in a great location to get to the centre of Seahouses, which has many pubs and places to eat. The owner rang me to ask if a welcome pack had been left and I said no, however the pack which was later delivered was disappointing as the milk was in sachets and small packs of biscuits. My only other negative point was not having hooks in the en suite for towels and nothing to hold shampoo etc in the shower cubicle. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would recommend this house to friends that wanted to stay in Seahouses.

Fabulous house.

We were very impressed with this wonderful house. It was spotlessly clean with lovely modern furnishings. The views from every bedroom were fantastic. The games room was an added bonus. Brilliant location, nice & quiet with easy access to town & beach. The only thing is there is no welcome pack which I don’t mind but after reading the reviews and guests saying they didn’t have one it sounded like there would be one in future bookings which we didn’t have. We arrived late & I would have bought some necessities ( milk) with us if I have known none was supplied. Wonderful house, we would definitely book again & recommend it to our friends.

Lovely house, well situated, clean nd good facilities.

Excellent enclosed garden and adjacent open field for dog-walking. Beds were comfortable, plenty of crockery. Will defo Italy return. There are a few minor points that need addressing - a couple of side lights in the lounge, rather than ceiling light, would be nice. In kitchen, the bin lid is tricky to lift and you need to bring your own sink cloths but these are minor points. Also worthwhile pointing out that care needs be taken with parking to ensure you don’t block the neighbours drive/view - not difficult to do.

The house was in a great spot just outside Seahouses, short walk to the beach and town center.

Accommodation was good, however for a property that large, and the money paid for a short stay, I would expect basics to be provided such as kitchen roll and enough toilet paper.

Accommodation was excellent, in a really good location with lovely views.

It had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay, lovely coastal walks, lovely pubs and plenty o f choice for food.

The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay but we did find dust and cobwebs in some places .

The property was very clean and comfortable. It was in an ideal location for our three generation family and the dogs loved the beaches. Having spent many holidays in self catering accommodation we expected to have a welcome pack or at the very least a bottle of milk in the fridge. We also had to rush to buy a cafetière for the many packs of ground coffee we brought with us.

Enjoyed our stay again.

We had a lovely week at coastal view.

The house was perfect for 8 adults. The property is ideally situated, around 5 minutes walk into Seahouses and around 10 mins to a stunning sandy beach. We had a small issue with a bed during our stay which was rectified swiftly. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone looking for a home from home stay in Northumberland.

It was lovely to arrive to a spotlessly clean home.

The beds were very comfortable and sheets and towels again were spotless - 10 out of 10 to the house cleaner!

Clean and well equipped. Bonus of a games room on those not so nice days. An ideal location for town and beaches.

Great location for town centre as well as beach.

Property was very well-equipped and sufficient for our party of six plus two dogs. Main feedback is the booking in time of 5pm and booking out of 9.30am which means you lose several hours during a 7 day stay and have a lot of rushing around on the day of departure

Would stay at the same house again so was well pleased.

good fasciities . Might I suggest that a cafetière and a knife sharpener might be handy.

Really comfortable beds. Well equipped for 3 generations and 2 dogs to enjoy a great holiday together. The garden is lovely, with plenty of room to enjoy sitting out and relaxing after a day out. A home away from home. We are planning another stay for next year. The games room is amazing, we all enjoyed the table tennis and pool, thank you very much. We parked the cars up when we arrived and they didn't move again until the following Saturday when we had to leave.

Perfect property for us.

Easy to keep clean even with a sea loving dog! The house had everything we needed and the location was great for the town and beaches.

Great location, spotless throughout, comfortable and definitely recommend.

Unfortunately the property wasn’t very clean, the downstairs toilet seat and the bathroom upstairs in particular (soap scum in bath and the shower screen blade at the bottom was terrible), very dusty also in between the spindles on the stairs.

The en suite toilet flush is not working properly (it didn’t work well in Oct ‘22 either), Fence in garden needs repair, lights in the back garden would be welcome, and more sturdy coat hooks, the current ones, whilst a good addition since our 1st visit are already loose, can’t see them lasting long. Apart from that, the property is well placed, comfortable, and warm. Sadly for the inflated price paid for festive break though we can’t help feeling disappointed.

Lovely property. Some of the minor fittings were loose in the bathrooms and the end-suite toilet was hard to flush. Games Room a great extra. Would definitely return.

Excellent accommodation had everything we needed games room big hit short stroll to beaches and village eats.

Would recommend to anyone. Would have a coat shoe rack at entrance to stop hanging on banister pole

Beautiful house.

We had an amazing stay at Coastal View. Its in a fabulous location for the beach and also just a short stroll to the shops and pubs/restaurants etc. The house itself has everything you would need for your stay and is so comfortable. The owners have put a lot of thought into the property. The games room was a great touch too. We would definitely return to this property in the future.

Lovely property great location Property could benefit from a coat rack or hooks on the doors and some additional side tables.

Excellent holiday let 3 generations from teenagers to 70+ grandparents ideal for getting about the area games room in the garage a great idea good kitchen with plenty of room outdoor in the garden with plenty of seating we would certainly recommend this property

Could do with coat hooks and hooks behind bedroom doors , fabulous house and gardens and facilities pleasure to stay there and of course the game's room added bonus booked for next year perfect

Wonderful location and decor was just fabulous, very tastefully done , we couldn't have wished for a better holiday home for the week, the garden is the best dog friendly we have ever stayed in as it was so secure and the views of the beach were just lovely.

We will definitely be booking this holiday home again.

Great property to accommodate 3 generations of our family, which included two teens.

The games room in the garage was a great bonus, especially when the weather was a bit dodgy. The short walk over the golf course on the public footpath, to the beach made our springer very happy! Lots of other east walks from the doorstep, and proximity to the local shops meant the car stayed park unless we went for a day out.

Property and gardens require better standared of maintenance 1, Radiators in en suite, living room, dinning room require bleeding 2, Floor covering lifting in kitchen (by freezer) 3, light in living room requirs replacement bulb 4, The whole property would benifit from a deep clean advice would be to get an indipendent company in and not use the ones who were in allegedly on the previous Friday.

I left a card on the mantlepice of an indipendent company which maybe of interest. All in all not an experience we will nor forget repeat nor recommend to any one As for Sykes this was our first and last experience of booking with your company Regards M J Randles
