Lovely house all amenities catered for warm welcoming hime

Great position in Seahouses walkable to Seahouses.

Even for little legs. Small beach with rock pools and park just at back of housing. Comfortable property and ample space for a family! Handy downstairs toilet. Excellent sized fridge freezer. Home delivery available from local supermarkets. Good sized garden for playing. Excellent games room for rainy days. Brilliant property for family seaside holidays. Nice and clean, could do with a bit of a spruce up in some areas but we would definitely book again if we were wanting to take the grandkids to Seahouses again! We all had a brilliant holiday. Even the poor weather couldn’t dampen our fun. Thank you!

This was our second visit to this great family sized accommodation.

It has everything you need to enjoy your stay and is ideally situated within walking distance to the village centre. The children loved playing in the great sized garden and playroom. The only fault we found was the third step down from the landing appears to be broken but overall a lovely stay.

A very nice house, very well equipped and nicely furnished.

The property was very clean with comfortable beds. It was in an ideal location for our needs and the 3 parking spaces came in handy for our group. We had a fantastic time in Seahouses and our dog loved the nearby Annstead beach.

Property was well furnished and comfortable with everything well provided for our stay.

Location was ideal for local and surrounding areas. Garden area was well kept with every facilities and would be a bonus for spring-summer-autumn visits We were a bit concerned about size as we did not require a 4 bedroom property,due to a medical condition we now require 2 bedrooms and preferably 2 bath rooms. As it was the property was ideal and we enjoyed our time there. The only thing we found a bit confusing was there was no recycling bins,only 2 household waste bins

A lovely house in a very good location, we really enjoyed our stay over Christmas.

The only negative was one toilet roll in each bathroom for 8 people staying 5 days is not acceptable, also only 2 dishwasher tablets. It was very annoying to have to go and buy extra.

Lovely house, beautifully decorated.

Plenty of plates, cups and glasses. Great sized fridge and freezer. We couldn’t find any instructions for using the microwave or oven but worked it out between us (it would be useful to display the wattage of the microwave please). We brought our own tinfoil to cover the baking trays which were rather unclean. The games room was great fun if a bit cobwebby and dusty. Happy to use despite that. Bathrooms were good and there was hand soap in the downstairs toilet (bring your own hand towels though). Parking was good and key safe easy to locate using instructions provided. Back garden area was great - we brought an old towel with us for the floor at the back door to help minimise wet muddy paws from the grassy area. The coat hooks and shoe rack in the hallway were really useful. Living room area was lovely with adequate seating for everyone. We used the large foot stool as a table for some card games. We were a bit hot as the weather was mild but we couldn’t turn off the heating. Thank you for the biscuits, 3 dishwasher tablets and tube of “fairy liquid”. We had a lovely stay - thank you

Overall I would recommend Luna rides good location good parking all the facilities you would need.

Bedrooms good size kitchen dining room OK a little tight when we all in same as living room but fine.Garden v nice and a great games room.Only issues extraction in bathrooms leaking onto floor windows in some areas showing mould from. Condensation and hoover needs a good clean to get full suction. None of these affected our stay more a heads up . Had a great stay thanks

A comfortable property well placed for walking to local amenities.

We had all the equipment we required in the kitchen. The weather was good so we enjoyed the garden and it was good not to have to worry about the dog.

Nice touch with the gift pack on welcome thank you. I only have a niggle, bed mattress in master bedroom really lumpy there was false nails under bed and really bad cobwebs in upstairs bathroom near bathroom cabinet near bin. Under cushions on settees was full of biscuits cornflakes ect which wasn't ours we always had food at the kitchen table but I did hoover them to the best I could because the hoover doesn't pick up. Also there was a white car parked at back of us the entire stay in Luna 2 parking which made it difficult to get in and out. I don't like moaning but it's such a same because this holiday accommodation is really nice and because the owner has put so much effort and thought into it I don't want it to go against them. I would definitely recommend to anyone to come just need these issues sorting . Seahouses is amazing place and will definitely be coming back like we do every year.Thank you for letting us stay.

This was our third stay in Luna Tide & it didn’t disappoint.

It’s a lovely house, ideally situated. Facilities all excellent & games room in garage an added bonus. Or only suggestion would be a small oven tray in the kitchen (we bought a pie to cook) but otherwise an excellent holiday, can’t wait to go back!

Overall a great property and just a short walk into the centre the only thing missing for me was the lack of metal cooking trays

Great location as we knew been to the area many times.

Was a little disappointed when we arrived - opened the back gate to find a beer can rolling around and found lots of litter near the kitchen door empty cider cans and pop bottles. A plant pot had fallen over leaving lots of soil around. The bed throw in the double room had stains on it. There were hardly any convenience items left which most rentals do provide such as foil, hand wash, fairy liquid, anti bac spray for cleaning down in kitchen or bathroom. The air filter needs changing in the kitchen. The house was cold on arrival and took a good couple of days to warm up. There were no Xmas decorations which a lot of rentals do. Nice kitchen good size fridge and freezer.

Great location to explore would certainly recommend to family and friends. Perfect for large family stay as there was 7 adults. Love the idea of the games room, we had great fun using it. Disappointed the gas bottle was empty, we planned to do a bbq, shopped locally at the butchers only to find we couldn’t use bbq as it was empty

Lovely holiday, helped by glorious week of sunshine.

House was comfortable, everything there you needed. Bathrooms lovely and bedrooms spotless clean. Obviously nearer end of season as walls marked behind chairs in dining area and up stairs but that is to be expected at end of season. Garden facilities were best we've had at Seahouses. Thankyou for lovely stay, shall definitely recommend and will be back.

The house was spotlessly clean with good quality bedding and towels.

The garden was also well maintained. Seahouses was only a short walk away as was the beach. A very good base for exploring many of Northumberland’s beautiful beaches and castles.

Good location to walk into town and near the beach for walking the dog .Would love to return

Just returned from 1 weeks stay.

Very disappointed with overall cleanliness of the property both inside and outside looked different to the photos advertised to showcase the holiday rental. We chose the house based on its location and closeness to the beach and enclosed garden for our dog. Plus the games room in the double garage. However on arrival, the garden was noticeably over grown with variety of prickly and sticky weeds. Inside, the Lounge carpet and stairs were damp, and lounge smelt smoky, skirting boards were dusty all over the house, cobwebs in back bedroom and on the stairs. En suite shower cubicle was dirty and would benefit from a deep clean and replacement of silicone. The tiles inside en suite need a deep clean and the large shower head in main bathroom needs de scaling! Dirty and rusty toilet brush in ensuite, leaving rust marks on floor at side of toilet. 3 frying pans were filthy and needed discarding and replacing, wasn’t prepared to cook with them. The double oven was dirty, an oven liner was on bottom of oven and it was burnt and when I went to remove and dispose of it was covering an even dirtier oven! Hob was also dirty and would benefit from application of specific cleaning products! Grease splashes on side off wall where oven is and grease splashes on French door window, only noticed when opened blinds on the door that were down. Dirty food marks on wall at side of pedal bin in kitchen. Given that check outs are 10am and check ins 4pm no flexibility on this ample time for cleanlng to be spotless or at least reporting of any maintenance and ‘tired’ requirements to the owners in a timely so they can be given attention and remedied and therefore the photos widely advertised online were not what we encountered. I then had to set about cleaning the property myself to a standard I would be happy to stay with my family. The hoover in the cupboard wasn’t picking up, the hoover was full and needed emptying and the brushes were clogged with hair. Empty fabric conditioner and washing detergent bottles had been left on top of the washing machine. When I took them to the two commercial waste bins outside sadly they were already full! The games room albeit a nice touch, needed a good clean too, the dartboard was broken and all darts were broken too. I did contact the owner through Sykes app and also Sykes themselves the Saturday morning, it was Monday afternoon before I spoke with anyone and the frying pans and toilet brush were replaced. As I write this review I am communicating via messages to successfully resolve our concerns and obtain satisfactory compensation. This is our 3rd year of booking via Sykes and first time we’ve encountered any problems, so it’s disappointing the lack of support and recognition that our holiday stay was spoilt and unacceptable.

Excellent location, only 5 mins walk into the centre of Seahouses and good parking facilities in front of the property. Games room in garage an added bonus.

Great house for our family of six and black lab.

Location ideal for everything. The enclosed garden was super and having the table tennis in the garage helped keep the teens occupied on rainy days. The ‘dog shower’ was perfect for hosing down dog and body boards after a session at the beach. Outdoor seating along with the gas bbq was ideal for those moments of sunshine. House had everything needed for our stay. Highly recommended.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and would love to return.

This is a lovely home.

Everything you really need and great location. There was washing liquid and fabric conditioner, tea and coffee and packet if buscuits for your arrival and a small cleaning pack and washing up liquid. My only comment is that the garage space was very dirty and really needed some attention I brushed this out but darts broken and pool table nit level. The carpets were stained and would benefit from a clean. When moving the occasional tables they were sticky to touch. Overall a good place to stay but needs a good clean. Felt a little unloved.

Nice house - ideal for 8.

Very clean. Kitchen supplies, e.g. crockery, cutlery, plentiful and well thought out. Games room in the garage made a welcome change when the weather was wet. Ideal location for walking into Seahouses and for exploring the area. The only slight negative is the fact that the upstairs floors are creaky, so make a lot of noise when people are moving about.

We loved our stay at Luna Tide and the property worked well for us with 3 generations staying 3 children & 6 adults, it was comfortable for all and met our needs.

It was generally well kept and very well stocked with kitchen equipment equipment. The garden was beautifully kept and in better weather we could have made good use of the outside space. Beds were reasonable comfortably we all had a good nights sleep also the doors do tend to rattle but all in all we were well pleased. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants and the harbour. Would recommend for comfortable stay for family or friends in a beautiful area it was truly lovely.

The en-suite bedroom door rattles terribly if you have a window ajar for fresh air.

There is a pouch that can be bought for both door handles to remedy this (we had to use paper). The back gutter leaks at the join in the middle-if the path is wet in frosty weather from this,then someone could easily slip. Most properties we stay in have salt,pepper,vinegar,cooking oil at the very least,even a welcome bottle of wine-Luna Tide has nothing. We also had to buy extra toilet paper. One has to remember to turn the heating down before bed to about 14 or 15 degrees,or it will run all night-very noisy and expensive! There should be a note about this. I gave the pop-up sink plug from the guest toilet to Mike,the maintenance man in the Northumbria office,as it was kaputt...hopefully a new one has been fitted. Great property,though...excellent location-our 3rd. stay. Back garden would have looked tidier if the grass had been cut. Very nice holiday property in all. Disappointing recycling-a private company....glass is separate,but aluminium and paper go in with general rubbish. A bit depressing to do that in this day and age.

Great facilities perfect location for beach and village

The holiday let was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

We had a very good holiday it is also situated within easy walking distance of all amenities. Excellent accommodation.

This was our third time at Luna tide and we have always enjoyed our stay.

It is ideally situated for everything in seahouses and for the beach.

We were 2 couples & it worked very well, plenty of space. Super kitchen, comfy lounge & beds very comfortable. Excellent position on edge of Seahouses, close enough to all the amenities but very quiet. Would definitely go again.

I think the grass should of been cut for the start of the season, my grandsons would of played out more and if the weather had been nice enough we would of had a barbecue

An excellent house and great for access to the beach and the town centre.

All facilities as described and we had a great stay Thanks. Kids really liked the games room. As always walks on the beach up to Bamburgh and then down to Embleton and Alnwick and Barter books. Its on our list of places to go back to.

This was our second stay at Luna Tide.

As a family of 7 adults this house ticked all the boxes and was comfortable for us all. The kitchen is well stocked which is important with so many adults. Location is excellent, a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and being located next to the golf course was great for the golfers in our party & for walking the dog. We look forward to booking again.

Had an excellent trip to Luna Tide, 1st time in this accommodation and hopefully won’t be the last, the house is in an excellent position and beautifully appointed throughout.

It contains everything you need for your stay, and has the best beds of any property we have stayed in. Will definitely be back.

What a amazing house.

Luna Tide was more than home from home. Very clean on arrival. It was spacious, elegant and very well equipped. Obviously a lot of thought had gone into the home decoration. Will definitely book to stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Luna tide, the property was very clean and well equipped, was close to all the amenities of Seahouses as well as being just a ten minute walk through the golf course to a good stretch of sandy beach.

We were all agreed that we would like to return to Luna tide and would recommend to anyone.
